Chapter 3: 2.Fairy's game (2)
"hmm" She smiled at the crowd, and with a light movement of her hand, her bloody complexion reverted to its greenness and cute form.
Creepy
People trembled at the sight of the grotesque corpse shredded apart by her side; the fairy felt bad, and with a light movement, the corpse immediately melted away into liquid and evaporated; thinking she did well, she smiled at the crowd.
"Just forget what happened " Her hand touched her chest as she slightly bowed towards them, "My name is Cadell Jillaiya 15th contractor and administrator agent for the Apex tower, and I am in charge of the 10th to 12 batches, It is a pleasure, I hope we move along in a happy and cordial relationship to your end," said the fairy, or to say, Cadell.
Clap!
Her gesture called upon a virtual panel with a sophisticated diagram representing some worlds and took the shape of a tower.
"You all are here..." Her cute hands pointed to the diagram at the end; this world looked to be small, with others connecting it.
"This is the beginner zone," She said; she looked at the crowd, making sure everybody was attentive to her explanation.
"The beginner zone was specifically designed to look like your former world earth; all infrastructures are the same, but with certain details here and there to facilitate your growth," said the fairy.
She smiled, "This is all I would tell you for the moment; I still need to select the good seeds from the bad; you all would face a trial." She clapped once again, and the obelisk in the sky vibrated for a moment before opening.
A white fluffy creature fell down from the sky in numbers, Cadell looked pleased to see them, "I am pleased that Dorothy lent me his pet for this trail, it would make it easier"
Ethan unconsciously took a step back, but his hand was held firmly; he turned and faced the annoying person.
'Who was this again?'
He questioned, going through his past memories; he was already displeased by the person's reaction, but forcing him to think unnecessarily made him angry. However, he remembered.
"Katnese Hathaway " He unconsciously murmured, his annoyed expression immediately disappeared.
"I remember she was with me at the beginning of all, but we got separated after leaving the beginner zone, and our last encounter was when..." He looked at her seriously; Katnese eyes of despair stared back at him, and he frowned.
"I can't leave her here," He murmured; his hand tightened, and he dragged her away; their small body easily passed through the crowd of adults.
Ethan frowned once again, he could clearly feel other people following him from behind, "is it them?" His eyes glared at the back, like a journal, his mind shuffling rapidly to find the names of those following him meanwhile...
Puff!
"Are those rabbits?"
A man closer to the fairy murmured at the creature landing on the ground with puff sounds, bouncing up and down before looking around, the fairy nodded.
"Aren't they pretty? This cute creature would clear away the dirt, and those remaining would learn to survive for the next stage," She said; immediately after her words ended, a rabbit hopped towards a woman, its shining red-like marble eyes staring at the woman.
'it seems to be friendly...'
She expected it, but the reality was different...
'hmm!'
She felt a sharp pain on her finger, forcing her to retract it immediately; when she looked at the rabbit, she saw it munching on something vigorously; her eyes trembled as she looked at her hand.
The man not far from the fairy took a step back; however, something bit his neck, and the crowd did not have the time to process the situation, so it rapidly turned bloody.
"Kyaaaaa!" The woman, whose fingers were ripped apart, pushed out a terrifying scream that woke up the crowd. Ethan knew that the chaos had started, and he had to distance himself from the chaos.
"It would be over after the number count is reduced and the crochet rings." Cadell flew up and vanished into sparks.
The chaos grew as people trampled on each other to escape the rabbit wave that came at them, if they were caught, nothing would be left behind.
"Run if you don't want to die!" Shouted Ethan, but was stoned at the sound of his voice.
'kid voice?'
Another thing he forgot is that he was barely twelve when he landed in this world, and that's why he suffered a lot.
'running aimlessly would not help'
Ethan dragged Katnese inside a building; he turned to close the door but was kicked away.
'ugh!'
He fell down, the sharp pain stroking his nerves as he glared at the group of young boys and girls who entered behind his classmates; yes, he remembered them clearly.
"Fucker! You wanted to lock us out!" Shouted the one who kicked him, he was ready to kick Ethan once again.
"Stop playing around and help us close the door!" Shouted another boy with blond hair and Blue eyes. He picked up an iron rod and tried to seal the door, but his face paled as he saw a crowd of adults running towards them.
Ethan immediately ignored them, he held Katnese hand and dragged her up the stairs.
Seeing this, the enraged boy cursed at him from behind, "Come back here,, Ethan!" He shouted but was shocked to see his friend, the blond guy, running past him with the rest.
'huh?'
He looked behind as the shadow of the crowd close by, his face paled.
Boom!
The door shook for a second before being violently pushed open, people cursing and fighting trying to enter; his anger immediately shifted to that of fear and terror, and he dashed towards the stairs.
"Fuck off bastard, leave me enter!" Scream and adult.
Pow!
He was punched back and kicked, and when he fell on the ground, he cursed, but when he stood up, he heard sounds behind him, triggering him to look back; he saw a white rabbit eyeing him with watering sharp teeth.
"Ahaaaa!"
His terror scream triggered a mass terror as people screamed and fought for their survival; the scene was bloody and chaotic. Eventually, some adults succeeded in entering, but this did not stop the rabbits from entering buildings.
Ethan ran as fast as he could but was slowed down by Katnese, as her stamina wasn't great; he looked down and saw the others catching up to them; behind them, adults who succeeded in entering followed, and behind them, the white terror.
