Wrath of the Re-climber

He stared at the obelisk levitating in the sky. This was after humanity had been abducted in large numbers to the Apex Tower, a typical "man vs. god" scenario. The problem was that our young climber was still a kid and didn't know much about the system.

He had to learn from the failures of others; witnessing their deaths showed him the way. He manipulated, killed, and tortured others to stay alive. During his adolescence, he met her; she fought him, defeated him, and took him under her wing.

Together, they sparked a riot in the Apex world. She was neither good nor bad, earning the nickname Athena, the goddess of destruction and massacre. He became her trusted follower.

They dominated the climb to the summit and were candidates to conquer and liberate the world, which was supposed to be their destiny. However, they soon encountered him...

Ethan looked up at the levitating obelisk descending towards them, by its side, a small shining creature could be seen coming down alongside it.

"Clochet..." He murmured, as he stared at the distinctive creature which looked exactly like the fairy clochet in Peter Pan.

[Helabd jsjdl jsbflah] She spoke towards the crowd, but seeing the crowd not responding she frowned slightly.

Ethan became slightly tense at the frown; the fairy looked somewhere, smiling back, embarrassed; she touched her throat and gradually pressed it, and from there, she kept making strange sounds, switching to numerous languages; as she tuned her vocals, Ethan could recognize certain of those languages.

"Oh, got it, the universal language of the earth" she greeted the captive, "hello there, sorry for the delay, management issues, you guys are the fifth batch, and we are busy managing the other sections, we are out of personnel, but whatever, you all are honored to participate in the Tower climber, yupiiii" she clapped happily, but soon found out people where glaring at her and seemed confused.

"Uhm, it seems some taming would be needed for this batch, too," She murmured with a cute smile and downward crescent eyes.

Flying down, she stood in front of the angered crowd; they started asking her questions in different languages, and she was a little annoyed by it, "this would not work. "With a flick of her finger, everybody could understand what they were saying.

"What are we doing here?" Asked a black American man.

"Is this some kind of show?" Asked a student, her friend beside her, arranging her hair, "Do you think so? Is it some kind of reality show?" The rest murmured under their breath arranging their clothes.

When some people seemed curious, others were angry or scared by the strange situation.

At that moment, a man in a business suit, followed by another man who looked like a gangster, walked towards the fairy thing, and some people tagged along with them.

"What the hell is this thing?" Asked the bulky man, the businessman adjusted his glasses and took a look at the fairy.

"Its CGI is remarkable; which company has such financial power to produce this Masterpiece? It looks close to real," said the businessman; his hobby was collecting anime girls' figurines and watching inappropriate videos of anime girls.

The bulky man's hand extended towards the fairy, who immediately flew up, "we aren't yet that close for you to touch me" Said the fairy, "by the way, let me present myself and introduce to you all the reasons why you're here" Said the fairy, this attracted everybody's attention at once.

"As I previously said, this is the Tower climber, it's not actually a tower, but you will find out later, you all would start by getting a little stronger, you see, the next realm would crush you if you don't have sufficient strength to bear its spiritual energy," said the fairy, still people could not understand what she was saying.

"This is the first floor, the beginner; here, I would give you a game that you all would play after selecting out the dirt," she casually said.

"So, the game..."

"Shut the fuck up bitch!"A boy shouted, drawing everybody's attention towards them.

"You fucking kidding with us, we know this type of scam, you must be a bad guy, come down here, let me fuck up your small size," Said his friend beside him; they started laughing, the fairy who was always smiling, stared at the with a stoic expression.

She flew down towards them as they asked for, "Here I am. Do you have something to transfer to me?" She politely asked, the two guys leaked their lips.

"Yeah, come here" One of them extended his hand towards the grab her.

At that moment, Ethan stared at them without much emotion, but he knew this was where everything unfolded to all.

The surroundings were silent for a brief seconds before the guy's face deteriorated, felt pain and fear as he saw his right hand being held by the fairy; blood gushed out.

"Kyaaaaa!" A blood-terrifying scream Burst out of his mouth, accompanied by the gasp of the crowd, who immediately made distance away from the scene.

The boy immediately stumbled on the floor and tried to move away while crawling with his other remaining hand; his friend beside cursed and took out a gun.

"Bitch!"

Bang bang!

The bullets never reach Their target; she turns towards the guy, "Oh, I like your toy; can I have a look?" She snatched the gun.

"My bad, I didn't want to use too much force." She apologized, this was because, in the process of taking away the gun, she accidentally took away his wrist.

"My hand!" The guy screamed, this annoyed the fairy even more, as she gradually flew towards them, they tried to crawl away in fear, and looking behind, they saw a small cute figure staring at them with shining eyes which exuded a murderous vibe, "let's have a talk"

"No, no, please forgive us, urk!"

"No! Ark!"

The fairy tore away a finger, a leg, an eye, an ear, and lip organs while giggling happily, the terror on sight was so severe that people vomited, the screams of agony of the two men who begged for help and mercy gradually faded, what was left was the giggling of the fairy as she tore the remaining bodies.

When she finished what she was doing, she came back to her normal state, "Where was I?" She murmured, this time, nobody was going to interrupt her
