The crimson princess

Chapter 127: The new Knight of Sera

Pov Dia,

I was wandering in the Danish forest, looking for something interesting to do.

I had already dated Ultima, and she became my wife. (Author's note: I really don't have any idea of the script or character for Ultima, so we're just going to leave it at that.)

Now, I only had the date with Rain and Misery, which would happen at the same time, and the one with Aurora, which I had planned for later.

I thought that a small camping trip in nature, where they could serve me, would make a wonderful date since their desire was to serve me.

As I walked, I felt a presence moving a little further ahead.

When I reached the place where the stranger was, I saw a woman wearing an iron mask. The mask left only her eyes visible, and its nose was very long.

She was carrying a sword that I found very beautiful, but the problem was that it was cursed, and she couldn't use any weapon other than this one.

If you're wondering how I knew it, it's because the witches had taught me to recognize the nature of a curse.

Dia: "That's a funny mask you've got there."

She had excellent reflexes because she immediately turned and tried to attack me, but I had already dodged well in advance.

??: "Who are you?"

Dia: "I'm called Dia Eucus, leader of the Crimson Faction. And you—are you an elf?"

Her ears left no doubt about her race.

Zelda: "I'm called Zelda, and I'm out looking for companions like me."

Dia: "What do you mean by like you?"

Zelda: "Elves were cursed long ago, forcing them to use only bows and magic. But I refused to accept that fate, so I took up a sword. The problem is that this one became cursed, and in turn, it cursed me, preventing me from using any other weapons."

Dia: "But what's the connection with looking for companions like you? Are you searching for other cursed elves?"

Zelda: "No. When the other villagers learned that I had taken a sword and was now cursed, they banished me from the village. I tried to settle in another village, but everyone looked at me with suspicion.

"Finally, I couldn't stand it anymore. I decided that since society rejected me, I would search for other companions who had also been cast out, regardless of their origins. I've heard of a witch who only made predictions of bad futures."

Dia: "People were scared, so they decided to frame her as the cause of those disasters, even though all she did was warn about them. I've heard this kind of story before, and sadly, I wasn't able to save her. That was before I started to create my faction"

Zelda: "So, it's people like that I want to recruit into my group. When you're alone, the best way to ease the pain is to find people who may not share the same past as us but have experienced similar suffering."

Dia: "It's a noble cause, but you won't find any. My faction is already gathering people like that to give them a new purpose in life. But I have a proposition for you."

Zelda: "I'm listening."

Dia: "My wife needs a companion to help her with her tasks, but she also wants new friends. From our conversation, I've come to understand your personality, and I think you would be a perfect fit in her group.

"You want to create a group of people like yourself, but that's impossible. However, you can join a group where no one will judge you. So, what do you say?"

Zelda: "It's an interesting offer. Can I leave if I find that the group doesn't suit me?"

Dia: "Of course."

And so, Zelda became a Knight of Sera.
