Chapter 128: Goddesses of love's curse
Pov Dia,
Sera had Zelda take a small test to evaluate her abilities and decide whether she should use the Knight or Rook Evil Piece on her.
Zelda's abilities were decent, even though I noticed she would benefit from using wind magic to increase her speed. Unfortunately, she couldn't use anything other than her sword and fists to fight.
I asked her if she wanted me to undo the curse, but she refused. After all, how can one understand the suffering of others if they don't experience it themselves?
Eventually, Sera decided that Zelda would be better suited as a Knight because she was faster than she was strong.
Sera: "A quick question, Zelda-chan—why do you wear a mask like that?"
Zelda: "It's a little quirk of mine. This way, I'll be judged solely for my skills rather than my beauty or appearance in general."
Sera: "So, you're confident enough to claim that your beauty can hypnotize people?"
Zelda: "It's a little bit of both. Besides, I don't have the courage to look at my race's face after the betrayal I committed against them."
Dia: "You didn't betray them; they betrayed you. They should have understood that you just wanted to free yourself from the curse. They should have accepted you or at least felt sorry for the curse that afflicted you."
Saying this, I took her mask.
The face that had been hidden left me mesmerized. She was so beautiful that I started to wonder if she might actually be the goddess of beauty.

Her hair cascaded down her back. Her face was so cute and innocent that it made you want to protect her. My heart and body began to warm as I gazed at her.
Zelda: "Sera-sama, is it normal that Dia-sama's eyes are changing color?"
Sera: "Yes, it happens, especially when she uses her POD. WAIT, but why are her eyes pink?"
I didn't care about what she said; it didn't interest me. My only desire was to admire her beauty forever.
Pov General
In the temple of Aphrodite, the goddess of beauty and love felt an immense power resonating with her own divinity.
Aphrodite: "So, you've finally awakened as the goddess of love, Dia. I hope the curse of the goddess of love doesn't affect you. At worst, I'll keep you all to myself."
A pink aura radiated from her and filled the temple, overflowing to the outside world, affecting the minds of others as it had in the past.
The love of a goddess of love is so overwhelming that no mortal or deity could fully endure it. However, with Dia, there was a chance she could withstand it because her love was shared among several women. Even so, the love she held for them was still far too intense for them to bear. The best solution would be for her to expand her circle of lovers to further divide the weight of her affections. Otherwise, she might suffer the same fate as the other goddesses of love before her.
Back to Dia,
Dia: "This hurts me, Sera. Why did you attack me with so much force?"
As I said that, I stood there, pretending to tend to the burn she gave me.
Sera: "I didn't want you going after my new subordinate so aggressively—and without even asking her on a date first. I hope that knocked some sense into you."
Zelda: "Wait, Sera-sama, are you saying I can have a romantic relationship with your wife?"
As he said that, his cheeks turned red.
Sera: "Yes, you can. After all, Dia-chan already has a few women. Plus, if you're not comfortable with it, she won't force you. On the contrary, if you do accept her feelings, there's no turning back. Great choices come with great responsibility."
