Chapter 933 933: The Guardian Leader Is Back!
Cassie broke her own words. She told herself that she would try to forget Flint and move on. But here she was, caring about him more. She felt happy just hugging him like this as she took a nap. She even dreamed of him confessing his feelings for her.
But this was her wishful thinking as she was aware that Flint liked someone else. But at least, he chose to stay with her a while ago. He didn't abandon her.
Flint's fever went down and the poison inside his body was cured by the golden yellow flower. He was now sound asleep as he hugged Cassie back. He felt so comfortable with her warmth.
Scarlet entered the cave just to cover them with a blanket. The weather became cold as it started raining outside. Scarlet smiled as she watched her master's sleeping figure.
Cassie was smiling in her sleep as she clung to Flint. Scarlet could tell how much her master cared about him.
"I hope… this journey will bring you closer to each other," Scarlet mumbled before going out to return to her post. She needed to become vigilant. This world was filled with their enemies– the guardian warriors!
*One hour later…*
Flint woke up as he felt something moving beside him. He slowly opened his eyes only to see Cassie's sleeping face, leaning on his right arm. She used his hand as her pillow.
Flint was dumbfounded for a moment. He blinked his eyes trying to clear his vision. Was he dreaming? But no! He was not dreaming. He was lying there together with Cassie.
'Damn! What the hell is she doing?' Flint gazed down as he could feel her arm and leg wrapped around his body. He could already feel her softness, her mounds pressing against his side. And for goodness's sake, he was topless! No clothes on his upper body!
'Did she remove my shirt?' Flint asked himself, contemplating whether to wake her up or not. Cassie was holding him so tight, that's why he couldn't escape from her grasp unless he wanted to wake her up and disturb her peaceful sleep.
"Sigh. I don't want to disturb her… I guess she was exhausted after fighting those five men." In the end, Flint decided to stay still.
He noticed that he was no longer in pain. When he checked his body, he saw yellow powder on the surface of his wounds. "I think she treated me before she fell asleep."
Flint could still hear the pouring rain outside. The rain didn't stop. Fortunately, the cave was well-lit because of Cassie's fire.
'I still couldn't believe that Cassie has this superpower… and we are here in this different dimension. I wonder if people from the other world are already looking for us?' Flint exhaled deeply, reliving the moments of how they ended up in this world.
'Our enemies are not ordinary humans. How can I help them? I felt so useless.' Flint clenched his fists. He couldn't accept that he was not able to help Cassie at all. He even became a burden to her.
Then he remembered Ella. 'Damn! Ella… I need to find her. I hope she is just fine!'
Flint began to remove Cassie's hands. He got worried about Ella. What if her life was also in danger? Because of Flint's action, Cassie was awakened. She rubbed her eyes and looked at him.
"Flint… you are now awake… Yawn!" Cassie yawned as she sat up, looking at Flint. "How are you? Are you hurting anywhere?" Cassie asked him worriedly.
"I'm fine. I think we need to go now and find others… especially Ella." Flint didn't hide his worried expression. He was truly concerned about Ella's safety.
"Calm down, Flint. I think she is safe with Eleven. We can't go out there without a proper plan. We are here in a foreign world. We need to be more cautious," Cassie said, convincing Flint as she tried to calm him down. She was aware that her Aunt Ella was Flint's close friend so she understood why he was worrying too much about her.
Flint could only heave a frustrated sigh. He couldn't do anything as of now and Cassie had a point. They should plan out how they would be able to travel outside without getting caught by the guardian warriors.

Meanwhile, the person whom they were thinking finally arrived at the secret hideout of the healers. They were the guardian warriors who rebelled against the current leaders.
Eric, also known as Eleven, succeeded in bringing Ella and Liam to their hideout without getting seen by their enemies.
"Eric is back!" One healer yelled as soon as they saw Eric and his company.
Shino, who served as their current leader, along with the other healers and former guardian warriors, approached Eric and others. They had been waiting for Justine and Eric for two years now. They hoped they succeeded in their mission of bringing Zhen-Zhen there.
But to their surprise, they saw a different person. Everyone gasped as soon as they recognized the unconscious person lying in Ella's lap.
"Oh my!"
"He is back!"
"Our guardian leader!"
Shino stayed rooted in his spot as he couldn't believe that Liam was back. Liam already told them before that he wouldn't come back to this world. And he gave up his position as the Guardian Leader.
"Master Shino! We need everyone's help! Our former guardian leader was cursed by the Head Shaman, Mheera! He couldn't wake up!" Eric immediately informed Shino.
Shino's eyes widened when he heard that. The healers also reacted, approaching Liam to check his condition.
"How long has he been sleeping like this?" Shino asked Ella. She looked familiar to him. Her blue eyes… but he could tell that this lady was not the demon god's daughter.
"Around… 25 years…" Ella answered him. "Please… help us and cure him. Break the curse!" She begged them.
Shino and the healers exchanged glances with one another. "Let's bring him first to a chamber."
Shino immediately took Liam, bringing him to the nearest chamber.
"Don't worry! We will do our best to break the curse. We need to save our guardian leader," Shino said, reassuring Ella.
