Chapter 2: Chapter 2
Raven sighed before he started going through the system. First he brought up the status page.

"Wtf!?" Raven demanded as he stared at the curse and magic strength tab. "How is this a premium reincarnation package!?"
"Curse, magical growth locked. Now this is pure bullshit. Like entirely bullshit." Raven started pouting again, but he sighed.
"Ok, I can work with this. I have infinite magical energy limited to that amount constantly at my command. Yet, I don't think I'll be able to cast higher level spells in the future unless I figure out a way to remove the curse, or a way around it." Raven mused before scrolling. Oh, a help page.
Ranking system.
[E-Rank] - Lowest
[F-Rank]
[D-Rank]
[C-Rank]
[B-Rank]
[A-Rank]
[S-Rank] - Highest
However he was confused- oh nvm, he found the next ranking page. What moron made this help page? Ranking systems not even together, how stupid.
[Low] - Lowest
[Middle]
[High]
[Zeta]
[Beta]
[Alpha]
[Omega]
[Zen]
[Peak] - Highest
There we go. Made a bit more sense now, but he'd have to get a handle on just what that meant in relativity to the world he was in.
The next tab was inventory, which was obviously empty. Then quest tab with a single quest in it.

Not too bad a quest for the first one. With a hum, he noted that the next menu tab was barred out. Like just a censuring to prevent spoilers. Lame!
However with a hum, he focused and in his hand appeared the staff he had in Aron's loaned realm. He could feel his magic singing as he held it, and it brought a smile to his face. With it, he could probably cast up to Zeta, maybe Beta class spells at maximum.
"Now if I only knew some magic spells." Raven mumbled before he let the staff go back into his soul for the moment.
"Hm, I guess I'll start figuring out the world I'm in, and what better way then the internet?" Raven said to himself as he walked to the desk he saw a laptop on and, thankfully no password on it, and started searching.
To his immediate relief, the horror that was DC and Marvel existed on the internet. However that horror came back when he didn't get any results for Type-Moon.
"Noooo, don't do this to me!" Raven moaned in terror. That verse was scary! However to his joy, the quest didn't mark as complete, so that meant it was just a coincidence that it didn't exist here, or perhaps it did in minor elements, but wasn't the main focus.
A couple more hours of searching had it solved. The minute he found Kuoh Academy, he got his results.

A glance at the stuff around the room confirmed that it worked and didn't take any magical energy.
"Alright, I can work with this. Now, how the fuck do I make potions. Help page!" Raven asked himself happily. His inner Skyrim nerd was coming out.
•~~~~•
"Ok so, I just need to mix ingredients and infuse some of my mana into them it becomes a liquid potion. How cool." Raven mused before sighing in amunentment at that fact.
"Now the papers." Raven muttered as he grabbed them and started reading them.
His name was Raven Inanis. Thirteen year old child living alone. His guardian, Zail Azmorn, sometimes checked up on him, but left him full autonomy on his life, with minor control on his funds to ensure he was good.
He currently lived in America. He was due to move soon to be near his guardian in Japan. Movers would be coming soon to help pack and move everything. Then he would be taking a plane to Kuoh Japan.
He also recently had an incident that caused him to lose most his memories, the reason he was moving to Japan. So his guardian could keep a proper eye on him.
If that wasn't plot convince, he didn't know what was. So with a sigh, he shoved those documents into his inventory. They'd be safer there anyway.
"Now, it's time to start experimenting. Since I don't have any proper ingredients to use to cook potions with, I guess I'll practice with enchanting." Raven mused before summoning his staff and grabbing the knife on his desk. A simple pocket one.
A very light slash with it had it lightly cutting the desk leg. Pointing his staff at the knife, he focused and imagined using enchanting, the desired enchantment being [Sharpness] in general.
It took a while, but he finally figured out how to properly focus his magic in the way needed and the magic funneled into his staff before tapping the knife.
With his forehand he grabbed the knife and cut at the desk leg again, with the same amount of force, he cut through the desk leg and the table dropped to the ground. It was a thick table leg as well.
"Oh yes, I'm going to greatly enjoy this." Raven cackled joyfully as he blinked before pouting at the destroyed desk. "Guess I'll need a new one, or maybe some use for it in the future?" Raven sighed before he shoved the desk into his inventory to hide it away alongside the knife.

A week later, the movers came and started packing things as he told them to do so. He didn't have that much stuff. A lot of his parents stuff had already been stored away, apparently.
"An that's everything." Raven said as he finished exploring the entire house. He went and confirmed the movers were good to go and do whatever they had to do.
Raven left his suitcase again the wall, a car would come pick him up in an hour to give him a ride to the airport.
Moving around the house, he felt that it was weird to have it so barren and empty. He always hated being alone. At least in the future he would have his homunculus to keep him company, the needed information floating into his head as needed about their creation.
He'd have to acquire several things. While if he wanted to make greater homunculus he'd have to get a good amount of ether clumps, by using mana and causing it to take a solid form similar to clay.
However regular ones could be created without the use of ether clumps, they just wouldn't be as powerful.
"Future project." Raven mused as he closed the last of the doors in the house and tripped falling face front on the floor, however the fall didn't really hurt him, he had Sparda blood in him, that would just be embarrassing.
No, it was the fact the floor felt hollow. Curious he directly punched the floor and removed the floorboard, not like he was living here anymore.
What were they gonna do? Blame an amnesia ridden teen?
Inside was a book.
"A guide on casting magic spells? Ok, what kind of plot convenience is this?" Raven laughed out loud. Withdrawing the book fully, he looked around and found nothing else, so he shoved it into his inventory and started looking for anymore hollow spots in the house. He couldn't find any sadly. No obvious hiding spots.
"Oh shit, my ride is here!" Raven cursed as he ran down the stairs and grabbed his suitcase. He did NOT want to be late to being early at the airport. Everyone knows you are extra early, or you're late to the airport.

Raven breathed a sigh of relief as he finally got through all the security and customs. A bag of food in his lap as he ate a cheeseburger and read the book he found under the floor.
After all, learning magic was important. Who knows how long he has before the worlds plot begins, it could even be beginning soon. He'd rather be able to defend himself if needed.
Well of course anything short of taking his head off would cause him to have to abandon this body. He didn't want to do that.
"I should get my lab coat again eventually." Raven mused before grabbing some fries.
"Boating flight 104. Boarding flight 104." Raven stood up and made his way over to the entrance.

"Welp, plot here I come." Raven said to himself with a small laugh as he walked out the airport and saw a driver with a sign having his name on it.
