Raven Inanis stared at the floating screen before him. However he was currently to busy pouting to actually care.

For some context, let's head back to where it began.

•~~~~•

"Waaaa!" The sounds of a baby crying could be heard.

Too far.

•~~~~•

Raven Inanis hummed softly to himself as he walked through the streets of his city. He was a young man in his early to mid 20's. Mid back length white hair and red eyes. His clothing consisted of black walking shoes, black pants, long sleeve black shirt and a lab coat.

Raven Inanis was recently fired from his position at a hospital for his "disregard of the rules."

"When did rules become more important then a life?" He muttered to himself as he sighed and took a look around. It was a normal day, nice and cold in the winter time. Sun shining. Trucks flying at you…

"Oh fuck me." He said in annoyance before he was crushed by the truck. His last thought was that he didn't get to say goodbye to his pet snake, Ivy.

The next thing he knows, is that he is floating about in some kind of darkness. However at times he swore it felt like eyes were watching him from all around. Sometimes it felt like he bumped into something.

However in one moment, he swore he touched something and was moving along it, before it felt like he was picked up and held for a moment, but something was different, before he resume floating about, this time never touching anything again.

A long time seemed to pass, but he didn't hit anything again, only occasionally wave at giant eyes which would blink before vanishing.

However after what felt like an eternity, he had long since stopped counting, a giant bright white light appeared and his location changed to that of a beach, he was dressed as when he died by the truck.

The beach was empty except for a single man laying on a chair and sipping at a drink.

"Take a seat." The man gestured and Raven shrugged, taking a seat next to the man, a drink appeared in his hand and he gladly sipped at it.

"Now, I do apologize for leaving you in the realm of the Other Gods for so long, trying to figure out where you were was hard, especially when you kept moving about." The man said as he sipped at his drink.

"Now, I'll keep this simple, my retirement should have started already, but I messed up, so I gotta fix it before I can start it. You are my last costumer, so let's go out with a bang." The man grinned, pearly white gleaming. Raven idly noticed the man had more then the normal amount of teeth.

"Cool, so is this some kind of afterlife, or like a personal domain of yours?" Raven asked and the man laughed joyfully.

"Good thought, no afterlife, those places are boring as hell. Not my personal domain though, more like a place I rented out from someone as a favor. Also feel free to call me Aron." The now named Aron explained happily.

"Cool, nice to meet ya Aron." Raven said with a content sigh as he sipped at the drink. "Oh this good, what is it?"

"A mix of cocktails from seven different universes. I know a guy." Aron said before he set down his drink as he finished it and stood up and gestured for Raven to follow after he finished his own drink.

They eventually arrived at a spot with two comfy chairs and a fire pit that was on.

"Now, I supposed I should explain some stuff first. I am Aron, the closest thing you could call me is a god who was employed by a company who reincarnated people." Aron explained simply.

"The reincarnated people usually get a certain package based on merits in life and all that jazz. However as an oversight on my part for your not so vacation, I've used some favors to get your package increased, it was originally a memory wipe and a very lavish second life." Aron told Raven who felt that was cool.

"However now, you've got a much different package. If my files were correct, by the owner I know they weren't sometimes, you watched some anime and read novels, plus some fanfictions right?" Aron asked and Raven nodded his head.

"Oh good, so in short, you'll be given a modified system, not a gamer system, but a system nonetheless of some type, the chosen type up to the higher ups. As well as three boons and a single chosen request." Aron said he held his hand out and suddenly there was a floating box that fell onto Aron's lap.

"Looks like the higher ups finished choosing. Let's start with the system first." Aron opened the box and pulled out a glowing rainbow colored orb.

"Oh ho, not to bad. The system is a mix. Its main focus is on Alchemy and Enchanting, but also provides other features such as an inventory, quests and a hidden feature I won't reveal for now." Aron said with a wink.

"Ok that sounds cool, but I have to ask, those quest for have a terrible failure penalty right?" Raven asked slightly nervous.

"No don't worry, with the level of package provided, your fears are unneeded." Aron said reliving Raven.

"That's good." Raven muttered.

"Now, your first boon is… ok that's just really convenient and nice of upper management. Completely knowledge on the homunculus of the Einzbern family of Type Moon." Aron said as he pulled out a smaller white orb and glanced at it momentarily.

"Ok that's amazing. Those homunculus are capable of being compared to servants, and the normal maid ones have more magic then most magus could ever dream of using." Raven thought out loud as he pondered on the future with that.

"Indeed. Now the second one, ok I'm seeing a pattern here, I feel like upper management is trying to say something…" Aron said as he pulled out a black orb with a glowing blue center in it. "The third true magic of type moon, Heavens Feel."

"Ok, possibly upper management as you call them definitely is trying to say something." Raven muttered, but he could appreciate the immortality and technical infinite magic he had. "Also, will that transfer over to what magic system if it's not a fate world?" Raven asked already having figured he wouldn't be returning to his planet.

"Oh yes, compatibllity is provided for anything given by the company." Aron explained as he grabbed the last orb. It was white with a core of blackness. "They're just spoiling you at this point." Aron mumbled. "The bloodline of Sparda as if you were his child. A half human and half devil bloodline. Truly, you have the luck of Lady Luck herself." Aron said.

"Aweosme!" Raven cheered. Devil may cry had always been one of his favorite series.

"Now, as I said earlier, we do provide one request, what will it be?" Aron asked and Raven hummed in thought.

He had a decent setup already.

He had basically unlimited energy and immortality. He has alchemy and enchanting. Einzbern homunculus crafting knowledge. Sparda bloodline. He's kinda geared out.

"It's a tough question. I already am kinda geared out. I have the physical aspect due to Sparda bloodline. Mage route is set. Support/Healer route is also set. It's tricky to choose." Raven explained and Aron nodded in understanding.

"I see, that is quite vexing. Hm, how about you think about it and we go relax on this beach, do some swimming, surfing, all that fun stuff?" Aron asked and Raven grinned. He could get behind that.

"Alright, let's get to it." Raven said as he stood up, but not before the four orbs were absorbed into his body. Raven took a deep breath and sighed in content feeling nice.

Aron waved his hands and Ravens clothes changed into swim shorts and a swimming shirt. Swimming shoes as well.

"Surfs up dude." Aron said as he held out two surfboards.

Hours and hours of fun later, both were sitting at the fireplace again, the sky dark and the stars easily visible. Both sipping at another cocktail mix, but made up from stuff from 37 different universes.

"Have you decided what you want?" Aron asked.

"Possibly, can it be anything? Like an item or skill/ability?"

"Indeed. So long as it's nothing too ridiculous, upper management should approve it." Aron explained and sipped his drink.

"Cool. Can I get Rimuru's sword from Tensura, but post series?"

"Pft no. You'd die and destroy the planet your on from the weight of the sword alone." Aron rejected and Raven chuckled, he meant it as a joke, but would have been amused if he got it.

"Understandable. Then can I get a magic staff that can focus and enhance my magic, but is capable of taking other forms? A shapeshfiting weapon." Raven explained and Aron titled his head for a moment as if listening to something.

"Hmm, accepted. Upper management has accepted your request. It will be soul bound, can be summoned and desummoned. Useable only by you. It will grow as you grow as well. While not indestructible, it can reform its self pretty quickly." Aron said and suddenly a staff appeared in Raven's hand.

(I'm to tired and lazy to explain in detail for its design, sorry not sorry)

"Hm, not bad. I can definitely smack people on the head with this." Raven mused to himself imaging such a thing. Aron cackled at that.

"Indeed. Now, you'll be sent off to your new world, a human family, any relevant paperwork needed for your new life will be provided nearby, alongside basic details on your background to avoid suspicions. I wish you luck, perhaps someday we can chill again. However do remember this, the world will probably be something you recognize, but don't believe it to have everything as you remember it." Aron said, and with a wave, Raven vanished.

"What an interesting guy." Aron mused as he closed his eyes and reopened them as he stared at the stars, he did have his retirement to fully begin now, and he'd be damned if he didn't enjoy it, plus he now had a new show to watch in his new friend.

Raven had woken up and had found the documents as was told, the system floated in front of him, but he had elected to ignore it for the moment and focus on a certain thing.

He was young again!

Like thirteen years old young!

So he did as a child does, pout.
