Chapter 3: Chapter 3
Raven hummed idly as he looked around his new home. It was a pretty nice place.
Four bedrooms, for whatever damn reason. A bathroom in each. A living room. Kitchen. Study/Library. Basement. Plus large backyard.
Truly, his guardian spared no expenses. It also made him believe he at least came from good money, curious about his bank account balance, he grabbed his documents and found the one for bank accounts.
He had three, one that was his fathers, one his mothers, and his own. Both his parents one would be sorted into his own soon once his lawyer got some paperwork done.
Signing in, he went wide eye. The conversion was still in dollars, thankfully.
The fathers account had 66,738,297.06$ in it.
The mothers account had 104,723,679.47$ in it, holy shit.
His own account, wtf him. Was he an investment genius or something?
376,194,097.05$
"Ok, I'm either really damn lucky, which is a strong probability, or pre amnesia me had some fucking skill in investments." Raven laughed joyfully. At least ordering most the needed supplies wouldn't be hard, just hard to explain why he needed them.
Thankfully magic existed.
"Now, I suppose I should go and get a bed at least. I ain't sleeping on the damn floor." Raven grumbled as he shoved his wallet into his pocket and headed out.

As he walked around, Raven noted the looks people were giving him. Japanese people weren't very foreigner friendly after all. They always asked how long you here for, to know how soon you are leaving.
With a sigh, he finally arrived at a store selling beds.
"Welcome, how can we help you sir?" A woman asked as she walked up to him. Least she was polite.
"Hi. I just moved here and need a bed. What would you recommend for a sturdy bed?" Raven asked short and to the point.
"I would recommend this one. Go on and give it a try." She said and Raven kicked off his shoes and laid on the bed. It was definitely comfy and sturdy.
He tried three more before going with the third choice. It was just right.
"Very well, is your parents nearby to come pay?" She asked and Raven said he was paying as he pulled out his debit card. The lady blinked before nodding and running the purchase through.
"We offer delivery services for an extra 7,500 Yen. Same day delivery and set up. Guaranteed or your money back." She said and he nodded, handing the money he had converted already to her.
Leaving his address down, he grabbed some groceries and headed back home. He soon stored his groceries away and drank some water as he read his book for another hour before the doorbell rang.
Opening it, he saw the delivery people.
Gesturing for them to follow he lead them to the master bedroom, after all what other room would he take if not the biggest one, and gestured where to put it.
20 minutes later he had a fully assembled bed and the delivery people happily moved onto their next job. He had to restrain the desire to tip them, it was rude to tip Japanese people for simply doing their job.
"Mmm. I'll practice magic tomorrow." Raven said to himself as he changed his clothes and fell asleep under his comfy blankets.

Knock knock
Raven grumbled as he made his way down the stairs to the front door. Whoever was knocking would die. Blast of mana to the face, he wa sure he could figure out in the distance to the door.
Opening it, he blinked, the sleepiness immediately fading away. Standing before him was Azazel, Governor General of The Grigori.
Oh, suddenly things made a lot more sense to him. Zail Azmorn.
Azazil. Azazel.
"Yo, good to see ya kid. Glad you made it alright. Mind if I come in?" Azazel asked and Raven nodded his lead, the brief memories he had seen while sleeping now becoming a lot more understandable.
They were memories of the body after he woke up from amnesia. It wasn't much, but simply him learning his parents had died, he had his godfather become his primary guardian and he was filthy rich.
Lovely.
"Nice place ya got here." Azazel quipped grinning and Raven stared at the man with deadpan eyes as he grumbled and went into the kitchen to brew some coffee. It was to early to deal with this shit.
"Who's fault is that?" Raven quipped back once the coffee hit his system. The fallen angel laughed.
Raven idly casted observe on the man.
[Azazel]
[Fallen Angel]
[Governor General of The Grigori]
[Omega Class]
[Omega Class]
Woo, beefy Azazel.
"Yeah, my bad. I'll have go buy some furniture today, but I'm here for two reasons." Azazel said as he held a two fingers up.
"One, to see you are doing well, and you see to be doing swell." The man noted pleased and Raven grunted as he sipped his sweet divine nectar.
"Second, schooling. I know you are new to Kuoh city, so I have an offer for you. Take online classes till high school. Then you go back into the school system, or you can be enrolled into a school when the semester begins." Azazel said and Raven hummed. The choice was obvious.
"Online school." Raven responded and Azazel nodded.
"Good choice. Now, let's talk shop, you wanna hit a club up?" Azazel asked seriously and Raven smiled widely before he chucked his now empty coffee cup at the man who caught it.
"It's to early for this crap. I'm going back to bed. Lock the door on your way out." Raven said as he made his way back up stairs.
The laugh of the fallen angel heard as he trugged back up stairs and under the covers.
"Guess someone's jet lagged. I'm sure he'll catch up soon enough." Azazel laughed as he walked out and headed back to his own house.
He was pleased though, his godson wasn't suffering, besides jet lag. Plus he couldn't feel the mana leaking out of him anymore.

Raven mentally screamed into his pillow.
Just why was Azazel of all people his godfather and guardian. Oh, it was definitely nice to have that protection, the man seemed to have a desire to protect him and ensure he was well and happy.
However, at the same time, it could also be bad if someone used me to get to Azazel. Welp, time to get to work. No time for sleeping. This body needs to learn to handle being awake for long periods of time again.
