"Hehe, it's not that surprising when you have connections. I could tell their were a few freshmen who had already evolved." Ren responded, dropping Xi's jaw. 

Gesturing to Min to answer his previous question. "I'm also about to evolve." 

Earning a nod of approval from Ren and a hopeless gaze from Xi.

With little more chatter, Xi asked. "Is there anyway you guys would spare little old me a beast soul." Making himself seem small.

Ignored by Min, Ren gave him a chance. "Nothing is free." Deflating Xi, "I wanted to sell my beast souls, so you can buys them or help me sell them."

Giving him a sliver of hope. "Sell them?" Xi pondered.

"I'd actually prefer to trade them in for sacred blood pet beast souls. But money is fine too." Ren responded.

"Perfect!" Xi shouted, "I accept." 

Startling Ren and even catching Mins attention. "What do you mean?"

"I'll do as you said, I'll sell them for you! Here I even have a sacred blood pet beast soul." Xi summoned a baby looking turtle. 

"Oh, okay I'll trade on sacred blood beast soul for that, any preferences?" Ren asked.

Knowing anybody without a background that could get into the alliance top military school was talented. He wanted to form connections, so he was fine with making a loss.

"Really? An even trade! Uh I need… well I'd rather have armor." Xi seemed to have a inner turmoil.

Sending said beast soul, Xi didn't hesitate to accept, and send his own. Practically jumping for joy.

Both guys getting an odd look from Min. At the bad deal she just witnessed and Xi's crazy reactions.

"So how would you plan to sell my stock of beast souls." Ren asked.

"Well, there's some groups in my shelter that wouldn't say no to more beast souls." Xi responded in high spirits.

"That's good, by why couldn't I do the same, in my own shelter?" Ren shot him down.

"Ah, well I don't know." Deflating again. "Oh, I know!" He inflated again. "To find more pet beast souls, I actually know of two sacred blood beast souls in my shelter."

"Haha, good that's what I wanted to hear." Ren laughed.

"Min, do you have any or know of any?" He asked in slight hope.

But she just shook her head. Making him sigh, he originally wanted to take through the alliance. But didn't have enough time to do so. 

Now stuck in the central alliance military school, he was kinda blocked from the outside world and had to rely on the sanctuary's to trade.

Sending all of his beast souls, except for the super beast souls and ones his dad sent him, to Xi.

"I expect both pet beast souls. You can keep the rest." He spoke generously, watching Xi being overwhelmed by the number of beast souls.

Ren didn't have too many beast souls, since the butterfly incident. Only a few mutants and a handful of sacred beast souls.

But it seemed to still be a lot, at least for Xi.

Exchanging contact information they separated to their own studies and training.

Ren was partially concerned about using the public training utility's to expose his strength, so he stuck to qigong meditation.

Eventually he was distracted by a nock on his door. Sensing his dramatic friend Xi, he opened the door.

"Ren! I got what you asked." Sending two beast souls toward him. Ren summoned them, taking note of a small two headed snake, wondering if it would need to eat twice as much.

And a miniature demonic unicorn, looking straight out of hell. He laughed, "good." 

These two pets could replace the nightmare cat when they evolved.

Thinking about the cat that followed him since his younger years, that was stuck sitting in his soul sea silently watching over him.

Currently standing elegantly in the martial halls training field. 

Huangfu Jing darted toward the cat at speeds surpassing any human in the first sanctuary. 

The cat was quick to react and true to its identity as a super creature, the peak of the first sanctuary. Huangfu Jing was sent flying for what seems to be the hundredth time, barely understanding what happened. 

Two people watched the scene, analyzing to better teach the constantly flying women better the next day.

Huangfu Jing was undergoing training harder than ever. Never could she have guessed her strength or skill wasn't enough. Or that she'd have to be pushed so hard with her talent and resources.

But it was the only way, hard work was the only way forward, unless she submitted to mediocrity.

Something she didn't even know she would evade even if she conquered the strength of super creatures after learning it wasn't as exclusive and unknown as she thought.

Her master, her friend and apparently a handful of Demigods had subdued such creatures in the fourth sanctuaries, but even then spirits still dominated.

And shura still threatened humankind as a whole.

As far as she could tell, super creatures were a fate that was necessary to overcome just to survive.

Little did she know, at this stage in her growth it was setting her up for dominance, greater than the grip the shura and spirits held over humanity.

A pair of butterfly wings lightly flapped, reflecting the pink horizon and rising sun. 

Two figures were below, dwarfed by a massive one armed cyclops laying lifeless. 

The body slowly disappearing, under the twos hunger. A crystal ball eventually revealing itself and the two began fighting. Trying to take the prized crystal for themselves.

Ren watched in amusement. 

A two headed serpent struggling to juggle the life essence on its tail. The demonic unicorn, meanwhile gripping the snake in its mouth and shaking it about.

Eventually the serpent resumed its consumption of the massive humanoid creature. While the unicorn victorious consumed the life essence. Before retreating into Rens soul sea to enter battle mode.

The serpent following soon after, when the cyclops skeleton was the only thing to remain.

That being the second super creature needed to activate the evolution of the two pets.

The cyclops in particular being the most powerful creature he had ever faced. And even struggled against, causing him to speculate the size of super creatures exhibit uniqueness.

The cyclops size and feats eerily similar to Han Sens golden growler. Capable of killing sacred and super creatures without much difficulty.

Ren had traversed the most dangerous lands of the first sanctuary for over a month, having difficulty finding similar cases.

Summoning the now evolved demonic unicorn and twin headed snake.

Both were evolvable, while the Unicorn had turned berserk. Proving that the super gene wasn't necessary, and that the nourishment of super creatures could push the limits of what was possible.

Ren continued his travel with his pets. A screech of a thousand birds, caught he attention.

Redirecting his movements, he closed in on the sound.

Seeing an pink lizard with wings, definitely not a dragon, but possibly close.

Ren watched as its scream was opening a spacial rift. Widening his eyes in recognition of the ascension going on, his pets were moving in aggravation.

Quickly unsummoning them, he watched as the giant pink lizard screamed till the rift was big enough. Then it pranced forward, never looking back. 

Ren threw a dagger, trying to test something. The lizard though ignored it and the dagger didn't even penetrate the lizard's flesh. 

Put on a second look, the dagger didn't even reach the rift.
