The announcement sparked excitement across the Federation. The Empire's technology had always lagged behind the Federation's Starship Design Department, but with the Storm Empire, things were different. Not only did they possess both battlestars and interstellar jump ships, but their cloaked bombers and missile ships also surpassed the Federation's capabilities. Only three years after the Federation announced its quasi-T6 starship development, the Storm Empire followed suit with its own quasi-T6 starships, independently designed by none other than Feng Mo himself.

As Feng Mo's secretary, Xing Shuwen couldn't help but look at him with a touch of admiration and disdain, secretly approving of his cautious approach. The Storm Empire currently only had one T5 fleet and a single T6 flagship. If their T6 starship capabilities were fully revealed, not only the Federation but also the Mechanoids, Insectoids, and Beastmen would see the Storm Empire as a major threat, leading to encirclement on all fronts.

If, however, Feng Mo possessed a mixed T6 and quasi-T6 fleet, the Federation wouldn't dare turn against him; in fact, they might even aid the Storm Empire through any crises. Should Feng Mo manage to assemble a complete T6 fleet, the Federation might even willingly submit to the Storm Empire. This was the advantage of technological supremacy: a single T6 fleet could be unbeatable in the Starsea region.

Thus, Feng Mo knew he needed to remain cautious; his wings were not yet fully developed.

He spent nearly a year refining his plans, during which the Federation's southern front had been battling the Mechanoids for five years. Both sides had suffered substantial losses, yet the Mechanoids seemed unusually resilient, constantly engaging in skirmishes with the Federation.

This situation puzzled the Federation Council, but they had no choice but to keep deploying fleets against the Mechanoids.

The Storm God Fleet had completed its upgrade, transforming into a formidable T5-T4 mixed fleet, comprising the following: one flagship-class battleship, the Storm God; a carrier flagship, the Orca; twenty T5 Wolf King-class destroyers; forty T5 Sword Dragon-class escort ships; five T5 Bay-class supply ships; five T5 Yak-class transports; and three T5 Artisan-class industrial ships.

Special units included one T5 Pegasus-class missile ship and two T5 Mystic Bird-class cloaked bombers, totaling seventy-eight T5 starships and a thousand T4 starships.

With the Storm God Fleet guarding the territories of the former Cloud Dream and Snowhawk Empires, Feng Mo felt confident it could hold its own against any standard T5 Federation fleet. Finally, the Storm Fleet would no longer stand alone, as the Storm God Fleet took shape under the command of Kylan, who had expressed her gratitude to Feng Mo for this opportunity, which Feng Mo graciously accepted.

With a second T5 fleet in place, the Storm Fleet could venture beyond the Empire's borders, providing Feng Mo with newfound freedom. Having spent the past few years building the battlestar and T6 starships without venturing out, Feng Mo welcomed this new opportunity granted by the Federation.

Federation Year 7502, December 8

The Federation launched another ten T5 fleets to push back the Mechanoids, but this time they encountered an unexpected setback: one T5 fleet was annihilated, and the rest suffered damage. The cause was the appearance of a T6 Mechanoid warship among the Mechanoid fleets, a vessel far beyond the Federation's T5 starships in capabilities.

The Mechanoid warship had a balanced and well-rounded design, which, while unremarkable at the same level, gave it an edge when operating a level higher. With no specific weaknesses, it became challenging to target and destroy, serving as a game-changer on the battlefield.

This development alarmed the Federation, leaving them wary of whether the Mechanoids had more T6 warships. As a result, they retreated to the Vermilion Bird Star Fortress.

"Uncle Gu, wasn't the Yunshan Fleet stationed at the Azure Dragon Star Fortress? Why were they moved to the Vermilion Bird Fortress?" Feng Mo asked, looking at the worried expression of Gu Jun on his video screen.

Feng Mo had already received intelligence on the T6 Mechanoid warship from his intelligence network, which had grown significantly with the Storm Empire's development.

"Xiao Mo, the Federation is making the same offer as last time—they want the Storm Fleet to join the battle and bring the Battle Planet with it. It's the only thing that can counter the T6 Mechanoid warship," Gu Jun explained.

Immediately, Feng Mo's Spark task panel displayed a new temporary mission. He scanned the details.
