Shinobi Gamer in Marvel

Chapter 60: The real Marvel World

"Lion-sama, he has been secured."

Owl's voice came as he knelt beside him. Gazing upon the expanse of Trask Industries, he surveyed the open fields surrounding the vast compound, now blanketed in snow. Rubbing his hands together, he sought to restore their warmth, chilled by the unexpectedly cold weather.

Brushing off the snowflakes, he entered the main building and proceeded down the corridors. He observed each office and lab reduced to chaos, their files and paperwork incinerated, leaving no trace behind.

Computers were connected to USB drives, their screens displaying data uploads. Once the data was extracted, the computers were destroyed, ensuring the hard drives were obliterated.

With a brisk pace, he navigated the hallways until he reached the chief executive's office, a grin spreading across his face.

"Well, well, well... if it isn't the illustrious Bolivar Trask!"

The Peter Dinklage look-alike dwarf, surprisingly similar in appearance, was tied up and being interrogated by a Yamanaka shinobi. After finishing with the man, the Yamanaka clansman threw him towards a certain gray-haired elder.

"What do you people want?!"

Bolivar Trask shouted, trembling with fear.

"What do I want? I've already obtained everything I desired from you. Now, you should be directing your questions to Mr. Eric Lehnsherr here, who, might I remind you, gave you a pass years ago? Yet here you are, continuing the research that they warned would doom all of humankind,"

Leon said with a look of disgust.

"Eric, remember our agreement; you cannot publicize his execution. Doing so would undermine all my efforts in enacting laws to protect us Metahumans."

"Understood. I am a man of my word, Uzumaki. However, his demise will not be gentle, considering his actions and plans against our kind."

Magneto retorted as he moved to apprehend Trask.

"You fail to grasp the reality! You Mutants are humanity's greatest threat! You will do to us what Homo sapiens did to the Neanderthals, leading to our extinction."

Trask pleaded desperately, trying to validate his views, but to no avail as he was met with either laughter or hostile stares.

"Ha! You're amusing, Trask. Are you unaware that over half the global population carries the dormant X-gene, with less than a quarter million manifesting it? And let's not forget, the rest aren't purely human either. There are Inhumans, Lupine, Atlanteans, and even Fucking Vampires. "

"Vampires Trask! You're essentially attempting to eradicate humanity's only evolutionary mechanism for self-defense!"

Realizing the broader threats to humanity and that he had inadvertently targeted humanity's innate defense, by literally shooting humanity on the foot. Bolivar Trask was paralyzed with fear. He now recognized that Mutants served a vital role in humanity's survival, akin to how white blood cells protect the body from threats. But for Trask, it was too late; his life's work had been devoted to the extermination of Mutantkind.

Now, all he could do was weep and lament as Leon presented irrefutable evidence that Trask himself was a carrier of the dormant X-gene. His ignorance had squandered years of research, never truly comprehending the essential role of Mutants. He essentially gave up on his life letting Magnito take him away.

Most shinobis placed explosive tags, setting the entire compound ablaze and ensured its total destruction, while the Yamanaka shinobi team scoured the area for Trask's hidden research. As the buildings succumbed to the flames, they departed, leaving only rubble and ashes behind.

In the following days, Leon devoted his time to reviewing reports from his companies. The introduction of Scrolls (RWBY) led to a surge in Facebook and YouTube views. Over the years, he had acquired land, factories, server farms, and office buildings worldwide.

Uzumaki Corp had grown into a corporate titan, previously introducing miracle medicine from the Fallout game series and cybernetic limbs for both the military and civilians from Cyberpunk 2077.

With Stark Industries ceasing weapon manufacturing, Uzumaki Corp secured all the weapon contracts in the US, unveiling laser weapons that were impossible to replicate or reverse-engineer, courtesy of his Patent Protection ability.

Having passed every bill he desired and other requests, he provided a list of all the energy weapons for sale from the Fallout series: Laser weapons, Plasma weapons, Heavy Lasers, Tesla Weapons, Cryo weapons, and Ballistic weave armor.

Every branch of the United States defense forces ordered these weapons in large quantities, replacing all uniforms with Ballistic weave armor. They were keen on purchasing his items, knowing that equipping their soldiers with these weapons would enable them to overpower any vehicle or large force at a fraction of the cost of their vehicles and heavy armaments.

Upon arriving at the NY Continental, Leon was about to enjoy lunch at the first-class restaurant when his phone rang. Normally, he would have ignored it, but the distinctive ringtone indicated an important call redirected to his cell—a privilege reserved for legitimate clients, as he had no tolerance for telemarketers.

"Yes?"

"Leon, it's Tony Stark. The US Army is attempting to seize my suit, even though I'm a civilian contractor. Considering the damage control you managed during my kidnapping, I couldn't think of anyone better to tell those Washington idiots to back off."

Tony said.

Leon's eyes narrowed; he knew exactly which congressional hearing with Tony Stark was being referenced.

'The US Army confiscating a suit from a civilian contractor? I can build a case around that.'

Glancing at the clock, he realized he could afford to spend half an hour antagonizing the US government. It was the most entertaining prospect he had for the day, and Stark might even provide a video copy upon request.

"I'm in, but I want a video copy to show my kids the senators' faces later."

he declared.

"Deal," Stark agreed.

"The hearing will now commence. For the record, Mr. Uzumaki, why are you present? Aren't you currently engaged with the Military?"

Senator Stern inquired.

"Stark is my client at present."

Leon responded smoothly.

The combination of Leon Uzumaki and Tony Stark? This hearing was bound to be more challenging than the officials anticipated, especially given Leon's history with Senator Kelly. Stern cleared his throat and began to list the charges.

"Mr. Stark, shall we resume from where we left off? Mr. Stark, please."

Stern urged, his gaze sharpening.

Tony, meanwhile, was turned away, seemingly in the midst of a conversation with Pepper, who appeared to be reprimanding him.

"Yes, dear?"

"Can I have your attention?"

Stern was about to lose his patience.

"Absolutely."

Replied Tony with his dashing smile.

"Do you or do you not possess a specialized weapon?

"I do not."

"You do not?"

"I do not. Well, it depends on how you define the word weapon."

"The Iron Man weapon."

Leon listened before he rolled his eyes. This was a farce and anyone who had sense would acknowledge that.

"My device does not fit that description."

"Well… How would you describe it?"

"I would describe it by defining it as what it is, Senator."

"As?"

"It's a high-tech prosthesis. That is… That is… That's actually the most apt description I can make of it."

"It's a weapon. It's a weapon, Mr Stark."

"Please, if your priority was actually the well-being of the American citizen…"

"My priority is to get the Iron Man weapon turned over to the people of the United States of America."

"Well, you can forget it. I am Iron Man. The suit and I are one. To turn over the Iron Man suit would be to turn over myself which is tantamount to indentured servitude or prostitution, depending or what state you're in. You can't have it."

Stark may have conceptualized the Iron Man suit while under contract, but the 'true' version was created after he cut ties with the US Military. His only reason for contact with the Military was due to the lack of imagination among half of their sworn-in scientists.

Those with genuine intelligence remained independent of the military and government. This might result in less financial gain and greater difficulty in acquiring restricted materials, yet the liberty gained far outweighs these drawbacks.

"Look, I'm no expert…"

"In prostitution? Of course not. You're a senator. Come on."

The people in the courtroom laughed and he waved back, Pepper did not look impressed at all. He mouths "no?" and she shakes her head.

"I'm no expert in weapons. But we have somebody here who is an expert on weapons. I'd now like to call Justin Hammer, our current primary weapons contractor."

"Let the record reflect that I observed Mr Hammer entering the chamber, and I am wondering if and when any actual expert will also be in attendance."

Tony says sarcastically to which Justin, jests back.

"Absolutely. I'm no expert. I defer to you, Anthony. You're the wonder boy. Senator, if I may. I may well not be an expert, but you know who was the expert? Your dad. Howard Stark. Really a father to us all, and to the military-industrial age. Let's just be clear, he was no flower child. He was a lion. We all know why we're here. In the last six months, Anthony Stark has created a sword with untold possibilities. And yet, he insists it's a shield. He asks us to trust him as we cower behind it. I wish I were comforted, Anthony, I really do. I'd love to leave my door unlocked when I leave the house, but this ain't Canada. You know, we live in a world of grave threats, threats that Mr Stark will not always be able to foresee. Thank you. God bless Iron Man. God bless America."
