Rebirth Counterattack: I Heard That the Imperial Marshal Has a Crush on Me

Chapter 180

When Chu Muxi got off the aircraft, he saw Lu Junzhi take two steps forward and then take out something that looked like a controller.

He pressed lightly, and the air in front of him became distorted. In front of him, doors appeared one by one along with the hive.

“Is this the entrance?” Chu Muxi asked Lu Junzhi.

Lu Junzhi hummed and took his hand, “Let’s go in.”

Chu Muxi was led into the door. As soon as he entered, he saw that it was a place similar to a small town.

The streets were still very lively, even though the people walking around were all wearing uniform shirts, uniform pants, and military boots.

At a glance, there were bars, hospitals, restaurants, and more.

Even the people there were either outsiders or people from the base.

Chu Muxi watched intently. Who would have thought that the ground, which looked deserted from the outside, was hiding such a lively scene?

“It’s really amazing,” Chu Muxi exclaimed.

When some people on the road saw Lu Junzhi, they all stopped, saluted, and shouted, “Hello, boss!”

Lu Junzhi nodded slightly to them. Those people had noticed Chu Muxi early on, but they only dared to peek at him secretly as the boss held his hand.

Occasionally, a few people would catch Chu Muxi’s eyes and smile sheepishly as a greeting.

Chu Muxi also smiled in response.

Lu Junzhi took him to a three-story building in the centre and stopped. “We’re here.”

Tern could not help but get winks from other comrades along the way. Those people did not dare to call him away blatantly to get information because of their boss’s presence, so they could only greet him secretly.

Just as Lu Junzhi and Chu Muxi arrived, Tern hurriedly said, “Boss! I’ll go back first!”

Lu Junzhi seemed to notice that someone was following them. “Well, go.”

Tern immediately breathed a sigh of relief, grinned at Chu Muxi, and said, “Young Master Chu, see you later.”

“Okay, thank you for today, Tern.”

“It’s okay, it’s all as it should be.” After Tern said that, he turned around and ran away. Chu Muxi watched him run all the way to the other side of the street, where three people were waiting.

Seeing him pass by, those people swarmed up, grabbed him around the neck, and surrounded him affectionately. They seemed to say something, and they all laughed.

One of them noticed Chu Muxi looking over, smiled sheepishly at him, and then whispered a few words to the others.

Those people all looked over, and Tern gave the person next to him a head tap, as if to say, “Let’s go quickly.”

Then the four people ran away, playfully fighting. They seemed to be heading toward the bar next to them.

“Your subordinates are all very lively,” Chu Muxi said with a smile.

Lu Junzhi glanced over lightly, and there happened to be a lone person walking over from the other side. He seemed to be dancing to the music, but when he looked up, he saw Lu Junzhi standing not far away, staring at him.

He was immediately frightened and at a loss as to whether he should continue to move forward or retreat.

Chu Muxi suppressed a laugh and pulled Lu Junzhi toward the building. “Look, you scared him. Why don’t you take me up?”

Lu Junzhi gave a faint hum and followed Chu Muxi inside obediently.

The man in the distance let out a long breath, almost suffocating from the tension.
