Chapter 26: Chapter 26 - Afternoon and Night During a Storm

Later at the late afternoon, Rico was playing a board game with his Pokémon team. They are having fun, with Riolu enjoying it a lot. They were doing this while the winds are getting stronger and stronger to pass the time.

At night, while having dinner at the dining room, Ben, Rico, and his parents are watching the news on TV. According to the news, the storm had made a landfall on the city of Galen, southeast of Kawayan City.

"Rain and wind had made walking nearly impossible," the weather reporter on TV said, "and the storm surge is getting worse and worse." While the weather reporter kept talking and reporting, Rico commented to his father, "Wow, dad, it's getting closer and closer."

"Yes, and we will wait for the instruction of whether we should go to the evacuation center or not," Lucas replied back to him while eating. His Magneton then responded normally.

"Although we live far away from the coasts," Rosario added," there is still a chance that the flood might reach our neighborhood."

"Yeah, you're right," Ben agreed with her. He then took a bite of a vegetable-filled empanada and took a sip of water.

Later, at 9 o'clock, the as the rain pours down and thunders roll, Rico and Ben and their teams are at Rico's bedroom, laying down on separate beds, except that Ben was sleeping on a mattress.

"Hey, Rico," Ben said to Rico.

"Yes?" Rico responded back.

"About the other room across the hallway," Ben asked him a question, "does it belong to someone?"

"Oh, yeah, that room belonged to my older brother," Rico answered back.

"I didn't know that."

"Sorry, but he went missing when I was just five years old."

"Oh, I'm sorry."

"It's okay, you don't have to apologize. We had been hoping for his return."

"Oh, I see."

"Yeah."

They kept talking and chatting until both of them fall asleep as the storm is getting closer and closer.
