Pokémon: Day Bringer

The next morning arrived, as this time it was Haru that we are following, as Ash, Misty and Brock had Finally made there way too Azelea town, after a miss adventure with a center Blissey, a pack of Houndour and getting a Cyndaquil.

Brock was the first person to speak. "Will you look at that, we are finally here".

Ash just laughed. "Yeah I can finally get my Gym badges".

Misty then spoke as she looked at them. "You know, maybe we should have taken Haru advice and gon on the shorter path to Azalea town"

Brock smiled, chuckling at Misty's comment. "Maybe, but you know Ash never listens to advice when he's excited about something." He turned to Ash, who was already looking forward to the upcoming Gym battle. "It's good to see you're ready, though. But remember, it's not just about collecting badges. It's about building strong bonds with your Pokémon."

Ash nodded, eyes gleaming with determination. "Yeah, I know, Brock. But this time, I'm gonna win this badge, and show everyone how much I've grown!"

Misty crossed her arms with a smirk. "Well, don't get too ahead of yourself. This is Azalea Town, after all. The Gym Leader here, Bugsy, isn't going to make things easy."

As they approached the town's entrance, Ash's enthusiasm was palpable. "Bring it on! I'm ready for whatever Bugsy throws at me!"

As they walked through the gates, they went through the gate and saw the city, if was peaceful and come as they went to where the gym was, Misty was still scared of Big types so this was her full nightmare, they went in as Ash saw Bugsy.

Bugsy looked at them. "Ah challenger".

Ash looked at him. "I am Ash, and I am here to battle you and get my second Gym badges".

Bugsy looked at Ash as she spoke in his head. "So he is the kid who Haru told me about".

Brock them spoke. "Hey did a trainer come here his is Haru".

Bugsy looked at them. "Yes, he won his badge and left, so lest start, I have 3 Pokémon and ash and you can pick all 6 of your ash".

Ash titled his head. "Instead it a bit over kill for me".

Bugsy looked at them and spoke. "I won't be going easy one, you made to the top 16 of he Indigo Plato, so yeah my 3 Vs full team"

Ash smirked as he sent out his first Pokémon. "Chikorita, I chose you"

Bugsy just sent out his first Pokémon, his Scyther, as he spoke. "X Scissor"

As then in a blink do an eyes, Scyther was behind Chikorita as then in a one attack Chikorita hit the wall as Ash jaw was dropped.

Bugsy looked at him and spoke. "Take this seriously, there is reason I am allowing your to use all 6, I am not going easy".

Ash quickly recalled Chikorita, a bit surprised by how quickly Scyther had knocked it out. He knew this was going to be tougher than he expected.

"Alright, Chikorita, you did your best," Ash said as he then looked at Pikachu . "Pikachu, you're up!"

Pikachu leapt out with a quick cry, ready for action. Ash looked at Bugsy, determined now more than ever. "We won't back down! Pikachu, Thunderbolt!"

Bugsy didn't hesitate. "Scyther, use Double Team!"

Scyther blurred and split into several copies, making it hard for Pikachu to aim properly. As Pikachu charged up, Bugsy saw the opening. "X-Scissor, now!"

Scyther lunged at Pikachu, cutting through the air with speed. Pikachu barely managed to dodge the first strike, but another Scyther appeared in its path, and this time, Pikachu wasn't fast enough. The powerful Bug-type attack landed, sending Pikachu skidding across the floor, but still standing.

Ash gritted his teeth, but he wasn't going to give up. "Pikachu, Thunderbolt again, focus this time!"

Pikachu's fur crackled with electricity as it fired another Thunderbolt, this time targeting the real Scyther. The attack hit, but Scyther quickly shook off the damage, still looking strong.

Bugsy smirked, watching the battle unfold. "You've got spirit, but Scyther is fast and powerful. This is why I don't go easy on challengers."

Ash clenched his fists. "You'll see, Bugsy! We're just getting started!"

Misty, who had been nervously watching the battle, muttered to Brock, "I can't watch this… Bugsy's Scyther is so strong."

Brock nodded, his eyes focused on the match. "Ash can handle it. This is just a part of his journey. He's facing tougher battles now, but that's what makes him stronger."

Bugsy raised an eyebrow, seemingly sensing the energy of the battle shifting. "Let's see if you can keep up, Ash. Scyther, use Agility!"

The Scyther sped up even more, leaving afterimages as it moved around the battlefield. Ash watched carefully, his mind working to figure out how to counter Scyther's speed.

"Got it! Pikachu, Quick Attack, follow up with Thunderbolt!"

Pikachu dashed forward with incredible speed, catching Scyther off guard. The Thunderbolt that followed hit right after, and this time, the attack seemed to have a bigger effect. Scyther wobbled but remained in the fight.

Bugsy nodded in approval. "Nice counter, Ash. But don't think you've won just yet. Scyther, X-Scissor, one last time!"

Ash's eyes widened as he saw Scyther charging for another powerful attack. "Pikachu, dodge and hit back with Iron Tail!"

In a flash, Pikachu dodged to the side and swung its tail with metallic force, hitting Scyther square in the chest. Scyther staggered back, exhausted from the battle, and after a moment, it collapsed, unable to continue.

Ash let out a relieved breath, calling back Pikachu. "We did it, Pikachu!"

Bugsy returned Scyther to its Poké Ball, nodding in respect. "You're stronger than I expected, Ash. But the battle's not over yet."

Ash smiled confidently, ready for whatever Bugsy had in store next. "Bring it on, Bugsy! I'm not stopping now!"

Bugsy then sent out his next Pokémon. "Heracross I choose you"

As Heracross came out as he looked at Pikachu, as they looked Ash told Pikachu to use Thunderbolt as Heracross jumped out of the way Budgs then told Heracross use a brick break as it hit Pikachu and it was Critical hit, Pikachu was sent back.

Bugsy looked at ash. "Heracross, Mega horn".

Heracross horn glows as it went to Pikachu, as Pikachu Dodge as Ash told Pikachu use Iron Tail, as then it hit them Pikachu sent out Electro Ball.

Ash was shocked. "What was that".

Bugsy looked at ash. "Your Pikachu learn a new move, Heracross Aerial Ace".

And with that finally hit Pikachu was drafted, as Ash took his Pokémon back, as Bugsy looked at him. "Go ahead next Pokémon".

Ash then sent out his next Pokémon. "Bulbasaur".

Bulbasaur came out his Pokeball, as Heracross then went for another Aerial Ace, Bulbasaur then moved out of the way, then Heracross came behind Bulbasaur as Heracross hit him with a Brick Break and Aerial Ace combo, Bulbasaur then uses Vine Whip, it grabbed on Heracross wastee as he slammed to the ground but the. Heracross started to break, Before Heracross came escaped Ash told Bulbasaur to use to Solar been, as he started to charge as Heracross came behind but Bulbasaur hit point black as Heracross was sent as Bulbasaur then glows as everyone eyes wident, as then Bulbasaur evolved as now there was a Ivysaur.

Ash looked at Ivysaur. "Bulbasaur you evolved, that is Great, Now let's do this Ivysaur"

Then one Aerial Ace by Heracross Ivysaur was knocked, as Ash returned it.

Bugsy looked at him. "Half tour team is done, pick good choice for the next one"

Ash gritted his teeth as he returned Ivysaur to its Poké Ball, his mind racing. "Alright, I've got this," he muttered to himself. Bugsy had definitely put up a strong fight, and he knew the next choice was crucial.

Ash took a deep breath before tossing his next Poké Ball into the air. "Totodile, let's go!"

The water-type Pokémon appeared with a cry, ready for action. Totodile looked at Heracross with determination in its eyes.

Bugsy smirked. "Heracross, Brick Break, take it down!"

Heracross charged forward, ready to land another devastating hit. But Ash was ready.

"Totodile, use Water Gun!" Ash shouted.

Totodile quickly shot a powerful stream of water, forcing Heracross to slow down. Heracross tried to fight through it, but Totodile's speed and precision made it hard for the Bug-type to land a hit. Ash took advantage of the opening.

"Now, use Bite!"

Totodile lunged forward, sinking its teeth into Heracross's arm, causing the powerful bug to stagger backward. Heracross struggled but was clearly affected by the powerful bite.

Bugsy looked at his Pokémon, his expression unreadable. "Heracross, finish it with Mega Horn!"

Heracross's horn glowed a bright, dangerous color as it charged at Totodile, ready to end the battle. Ash's heart pounded in his chest. "Totodile, dodge and use Water Gun at point-blank range!"

Totodile expertly dodged to the side, and with a surge of water, it hit Heracross dead-on. The attack, combined with Totodile's quick movements, threw Heracross off-balance, and it collapsed onto the ground, unable to continue.

"Nice work, Totodile!" Ash cheered, pumping his fist.

Bugsy returned Heracross to its Poké Ball, his expression serious. "I won't go easy just because you've taken down one of my strongest Pokémon. Get ready for my last one!"

Bugsy then chose his final Pokémon. "Sorry to say Ash, but this one will take done you whole team".

As then Budgys sent out his next, Pokémon as they was one Ash had seen before as next to Bugsy was a shiny Vikvolt as this was Bugsy final Pokémon.

Bugsy looked at Ash. "Alola is a wonderful region, you should visit it one day".

As then with one Thunderbolt it took done Totadile as Ash returned his Totadile he knew it was now or never.

Ash looked at Bugsy. "Cyndaquil I choose".

Bugsy saw Cyndaquil coming out for the Pokeball. "You better hope this one also evolves mid battle"

Ash's heart raced as he sent out Cyndaquil, determined to push through this tough battle. Cyndaquil was small but had the fire and grit that Ash loved in his Pokémon. Bugsy's Vikavolt, however, was no slouch. The electric bug buzzed menacingly, its shiny form gleaming under the gym lights.

"Vikavolt, use Thunderbolt!" Bugsy ordered, and in an instant, the powerful electric attack surged toward Cyndaquil.

Ash's eyes widened. "Cyndaquil, dodge and use Quick Attack!"

Cyndaquil zipped out of the way, narrowly avoiding the devastating Thunderbolt. The attack hit the ground behind it, leaving a scorch mark. Cyndaquil then shot forward with Quick Attack, striking Vikavolt with a burst of speed. It seemed like a decent hit, but Vikavolt barely flinched.

"Good try, Cyndaquil, but we need more!" Ash said, eyes focused.

Bugsy smirked. "Vikavolt, use Bug Buzz!"

The air vibrated as Vikavolt unleashed a sonic wave, striking Cyndaquil with a powerful blast. Cyndaquil struggled to stay upright, clearly in pain, but still determined.

Ash gritted his teeth. "We can't give up now! Cyndaquil, use Flame Wheel!"

Cyndaquil surrounded itself with a ring of fire and launched itself at Vikavolt. The fiery attack hit Vikavolt square on, and this time, Bugsy's Pokémon staggered back, showing some signs of wear.

Bugsy narrowed his eyes, impressed. "Not bad, Ash. But I'll end this now. Vikavolt, Thunderbolt!"

The electric-type prepared to unleash another thunderous attack, but Ash had a plan.

"Now, Cyndaquil! Use Smokescreen and then follow up with a Flame Charge!" Ash called out.

Cyndaquil let out a burst of smoke, covering the field in a thick haze. Vikavolt's Thunderbolt missed its target, sending a jolt into the air. In the confusion, Cyndaquil quickly dashed forward, charging with Flame Charge, its body engulfed in fire as it slammed into Vikavolt.

The impact caused Vikavolt to stagger again, but it wasn't out yet. Bugsy looked determined, realizing that Ash's Cyndaquil was holding its own.

"You're not bad at all, Ash," Bugsy said with a grin. "But this ends now. Vikavolt, use Electric Terrain!"

Vikavolt raised its wings, and the whole gym floor lit up with electricity, energizing its next move. The air was thick with static as the field became charged.

Ash's eyes narrowed. "We can't let that happen, Cyndaquil! It's now or never! Use Flame Wheel again!"

With determination, Cyndaquil propelled itself through the electric field, surrounding itself with intense flames and charging straight at Vikavolt.

"Vikavolt, Electric Terrain-enhanced Thunderbolt, now!" Bugsy commanded, as Vikavolt unleashed an even stronger Thunderbolt, supercharged by the electric terrain beneath it.

The two attacks collided in the middle of the battlefield, creating a massive explosion of fire and electricity. Both Pokémon were knocked back, the force of the blast sending shockwaves through the gym. Cyndaquil struggled to stay on its feet, smoke rising from its body, but it was still fighting.

"Not yet, Cyndaquil!" Ash shouted, his voice filled with determination. "You've got this, just a little more!"

Cyndaquil, breathing heavily, stood tall despite the exhaustion. The fiery resolve in its eyes hadn't dimmed.

Bugsy, seeing the tenacity in Ash's Pokémon, gave a respectful nod. "You've got a strong bond with your Pokémon, Ash. But it's over."

"Not yet!" Ash called back. "Cyndaquil, Flame Charge, one last time!"

Cyndaquil roared with energy and charged forward with a burst of flame, its body glowing as it powered through the electric terrain to hit Vikavolt head-on.

The impact was massive. Vikavolt let out a cry of defeat as the flames consumed it, and it fell to the ground, unable to battle.
