The moment the thunderous explosion resounded, the golden-orange lightning dissipated, revealing a figure lying in the deep crater formed in the ground.

Pikachu lay sprawled with four limbs on the ground, his body radiating an intense golden-orange glow. His lightning-shaped ears stood tall, twitching subtly as the wind carried their movement. His jewel-like, ruby-red eyes glowed fiercely, exuding an aura of raw power. The red electric sacs on his cheeks were darkened, obscured by the vibrant orange light that flickered like flames, interspersed with crackling golden-orange currents.

"That... that's it!!" Brock exclaimed in astonishment.

Everyone turned their gaze to Pikachu, who stood before them in a form none had ever witnessed before. The air grew heavy with disbelief. It was widely known that once a Pikachu evolved, it would transform into a Raichu. However, Ash's Pikachu had always rejected evolution, and this strange phenomenon seemed to defy all understanding.

"Pikachu?" Misty said hesitantly, her voice trembling with uncertainty.

"What's going on here…?"

"Pikachu, Quick Attack!" Ash commanded suddenly, his voice cutting through the tension. Standing on the sideline, his hand shot out in an assertive gesture. In that instant, Ash's presence seemed to merge with Pikachu's. Though no one else could see it, Ash's consciousness was linked with his Pokémon, their actions perfectly synchronized.

Fzzzzt!

With a fierce cry, Pikachu bolted forward. The ground beneath his hind paws crumbled as he launched with explosive force, his movement like a cannonball streaking across the battlefield. The others could only gape as Pikachu became an incomprehensible blur, a golden flash darting across the arena at blinding speed.

"That speed…" Misty murmured, her wide eyes unable to track Pikachu's movements.

Little girl was equally stunned, her gaze struggling to follow the electric blur. With determination, she released a surge of Psychic energy in an attempt to trace Pikachu's movements and intercept him. But even her Psychic abilities were unable to keep pace with the incredible speed. Every attempt to capture Pikachu's form ended in failure.

Boom!

A deafening impact followed as Kadabra was struck head-on by the golden flash. Pikachu's Quick Attack had become a force far beyond its usual power, enhanced by his glowing energy. Kadabra cried out, hurtling backward uncontrollably from the sheer force of the blow.

"Impossible! This can't be happening!" the little girl shrieked, her voice laced with frustration and disbelief. As she floated above the field, her psychic connection wavered, her hat flying off as the energy coursing through the arena whipped her long hair into a frenzy.

Kadabra skidded backward but managed to stabilize itself, channeling little girl's Psychic energy. Its hands moved in unison, gathering radiant power between them. The little girl raised her hand, amplifying the Psychic flow into Kadabra, enhancing its strength. Together, they forged a vibrant, swirling Psybeam that surged forward with immense power.

Boom!

The Psybeam exploded outward, tearing through the air. Though it hadn't yet reached the ground, the sheer energy it released carved a jagged path across the battlefield, kicking up dust and debris in its wake.

"Pikachu, Electro Ball!" Ash shouted decisively.

Responding instantly, Pikachu leapt into the air. His tail, glowing golden-orange, began to draw electrical energy into a concentrated orb at its tip. The Energy Ball rapidly grew, pulsating with power. Originally only the size of Pikachu's body, the Electro Ball now swelled far larger, radiating an overwhelming orange brilliance as it prepared to clash with Kadabra's Psybeam.

As the Electro Ball collided with the Psybeam, a deafening boom shook the battlefield. The explosion radiated tremendous force, causing the ground to tremble violently. Pikachu and Kadabra were flung backward by the shockwave, landing hard on opposite sides of the field. Meanwhile, The little girl winced in pain, clutching her head as if feeling a psychic backlash from the collision.

"Pika... Chupi!" Pikachu gasped, struggling to stand. His body quivered, his tiny paws digging into the ground for support. Behind him, Ash mirrored his struggle. He clutched his chest, beads of cold sweat forming on his pale face, and sank to one knee, his breathing labored. A closer observer might notice the eerie synchronization between Ash and Pikachu's breathing, as though their very life forces were intertwined.

"You look miserable," The little girl said coldly, regaining her composure. "Why don't you just give up? You can't win."

Her Kadabra, still recovering from the earlier impact, was enveloped in a soothing green aura as it used Recover to mend its injuries. The little girl's expression was a mix of annoyance and disdain, her words sharp.

Ash slowly pushed himself to his feet, his determination unwavering despite his obvious pain. "It's… not over yet," he declared, his voice firm. "We can fight harder. We will fight harder. We're not stopping here."

The little girl's frustration boiled over. "Why? Why do you push yourself so hard? Don't you want to be my friend?" she demanded, her voice rising in irritation. To her, Ash's stubbornness felt like rejection, an affront to her desire for connection.

"Friend?" Ash barked out a sharp laugh, his voice laced with defiance. "Who'd want a friend like that?"

He turned his gaze back to Pikachu and raised his hand. "Pikachu! Zippy Zap!" he commanded. The move's name was foreign, unheard of by anyone, even Ash himself. Yet deep in his mind, the knowledge burned with certainty—he knew Pikachu could perform this attack.

"Pikaaa... pika!" Pikachu cried out, his orange glow intensifying. Sparks danced across his body, and an electrifying burst of energy propelled him forward like a rocket. The sheer speed of his charge left a trail of crackling electricity in his wake as he raced across the battlefield.

Kadabra, still mid-Recover, was vulnerable. The little girl attempted to react, commanding Kadabra to form a protective shield, but Pikachu's speed outpaced her intentions. In an instant, Pikachu slammed into Kadabra with an electrified tackle, sending Kadabra flying backward.

The force of the attack caused Kadabra to cry out in pain, its psychic energy dissipating as its eyes dimmed. The backlash of the attack struck the little girl as well; she let out a pained cry and collapsed to the ground, her psychic connection severed by the overwhelming force.

"Pika... chu!" Pikachu stood panting, his body still coursing with golden electricity as the dust settled. Victory was clear, yet the battlefield bore the scars of their intense clash.
