If you used to play this type of game before, Louis would definitely be a little flustered, but now Louis can say that he is not flustered at all. After the exercise of "Outlast," he was no longer the same person as before.
Following the blood on the ground, he controlled Leon and walked inside with a flashlight.
'In other words, in this horror game, the protagonists like to die. If I encounter this kind of thing, then whether I control him or not, I will definitely turn around and run.' In the live stream, the rhythm of the game is still a little bland, Louis controls the protagonist while bragging.
I saw the opening in front of the corridor. A bald staff member with an invisible face sat down with his head down, covering his neck with blood in one hand. He noticed the arrival of Leon and slowly raised his finger to the back of the corridor.
'Is this a guide? Not a zombie?' At first, Louis, who thought this was a zombie, was a little surprised, but he still controlled the protagonist to walk inside.
While speaking, Louis leaned back, and at the same time his legs were stretched, his eyes narrowed slightly. He was ready. When he controlled Leon's entrance, the worker sitting on the ground would suddenly become a zombie, and then bite him. Based on his previous experience of playing "Outlast," he thinks it is very possible.
But what surprised him was that after he went inside, nothing happened, except that BGM seemed to be more invading, and the lights in the corridor were a little dimmer, and the rest did not seem to be too big of a deal.
He continued to walk towards the front of the corridor along the sound source. Leon, holding the flashlight, pushed open the door. He saw a police officer forcing a person against the wall.
[ 'Sir, do you need help?'
In the game, Lyon asked to enter the plot mode.
'Mr., please step back, I will deal with it.' Noticing Lyon, the officer pressed one hand and turned his head to say.
But the next moment, accompanied by a lightning strike outside, the zombie instantly slammed the police officer to the ground, biting the officer's neck. Blood burst out like a fountain, and the police officer's screams came from the headset. ]
"Damn! So bloody!"
Along with the zombie's bite, the blood and flesh where the neck was bitten were blurred, and even the muscles and bones inside could be seen. With a burst of tearing sound, a blurry chunk of flesh was held in the zombie's mouth. The zombie lying on the ground slowly raised its head, the gray eyes without pupils looked directly at Louis in front of the screen.
Louis swallowed and unconsciously touched his neck with his left hand. It wasn't the terror that scared him, but the eye irritation brought by this bloody effect, which was the most shocking.
Although he had already guessed that this thing was a zombie, he really didn't expect that in "Resident Evil" it would be so straightforward in showing the blood. Why is this thing so bloody?
[ ===== ]
At the same time, the audience in the stream also cleared the chat to express their shock.
'Damn, eating, and then show me that-!'
'This is a zombie. It feels different from a horror movie. This is too real-!'
But soon some viewers in Louis' live broadcast room noticed that the live stream of the game had changed, and then something suddenly appeared on the zombie's mouth.
[ ===== ]
At the same time, Louis heard two coughs in the live stream: "Let's pay attention, I just received the platform notification. Since "Resident Evil" is an adult-level game, there is some bloody content, so I will open a delay, and some details will also be covered."
Without giving the audience much time to react, Louis quickly turned their attention back to the game.
"I can shoot. Not much to talk about, let me avenge my police colleague. Okay, zombie, I don't believe you can withstand the power of modern weapons." Looking at Lyon, who pulled out his pistol, and the prompt to shoot.
Louis didn't say much, and immediately aimed at a zombie walking towards him with blood stains.
Bang-!, Bang-!, Bang...
Several shots were fired in a row, and the zombie stopped in place, repelled by the recoil of the bullets, but it still swayed toward him.
"Damn-! Are you made of iron? How are you not dead yet." Louis was shocked.
This zombie game was different from what he thought.
Glancing at the remaining bullets, Louis carefully aimed at the zombie's head and fired two shots, finally knocking it down to the ground, but there were only three bullets left in the magazine.
Louis let out a breath, his nervousness suddenly dissipated. He came to the front of a door, which prompted him that he had no key.
"Puzzle? Need to find the key to open the door." Watching the new task appear, Louis nodded.
Puzzle, this gameplay can be said to be the best match for horror games. No matter what kind of horror game, it seems that puzzle is always part of it. Obtaining the key from a small corner cabinet in the supermarket, Louis maneuvered Leon back along the original path to open the door.
But then the music suddenly became tense and weird. With a subtle sound, the zombies he had knocked down earlier began to climb up again.
"Damn it-! Why are you still not dead yet-! This is annoying, are these zombies unkillable?" Looking at the three bullets left and the zombie trembling toward him, Louis' heart suddenly lifted, and an inexplicable tension filled him.
He aimed carefully at the head and shot. When the third shot hit the head, the zombie's head burst like a watermelon, and it collapsed to the ground.
"You must destroy the head before it dies." Louis showed a sudden realization, thinking he had discovered a hidden mechanic of the game.
Looking at the zombie on the ground, he carefully walked forward, afraid it would get up again, knowing he had no bullets left.
Using the key to open the iron door, accompanied by tense music and the roaring of zombies, Louis suddenly felt panicked. Opening the door, he saw that in the small supermarket, three or four zombies walked toward Leon under his control.
"Really, this is like "Outlast" again!" Louis joked, then immediately instructed Leon to carefully dodge the surrounding zombies and ran toward the exit.
With no bullets left, how could he fight the zombies? Dodging the zombies that pushed down the cabinet next to him, Louis directed Leon to the convenience store door, then saw Claire from the trailer pushing the door to enter. And behind her, a zombie approached silently.
[ 'Don't shoot!'
'Duck-!' ]
Seeing this scene, Louis reacted instantly. Looking at the game screen entering the CG animation, a smile appeared on Louis' face. The horror of this game is the tension it creates when facing zombies, that's all.
If you haven't played "Outlast," the atmosphere of "Resident Evil" is indeed quite scary, but after experiencing the baptism of "Outlast," and just having a trial of "Resident Evil," Louis felt that the intensity shouldn't be overwhelming.
