The demo version is not too big. At the broadband speed currently used by Louis, the game has been downloaded in less than ten seconds. Installed and then entered the game. After a short intro, he officially entered the game selection interface.

"There are two characters to choose from. Are the two protagonists? But the demo version doesn't seem to be able to play for the female character." Louis looked at the options on the game interface, and only displayed 'Leon Scott Kennedy's option as bright, while the other, 'Claire Redfield,' was dim and unselectable, he said in the live broadcast room.

Since you haven't got a choice, then there is nothing to debate, let's go directly to the game and see what the quality of Resident Evil is. Louis thought, and at the same time directly hit the OK button. Then, the interface of difficulty selection appeared.

After glancing at the difficulty introduction, Louis ignored a group of viewers in the chat who said that they would choose expert difficulty. After the difficulty was confirmed, the game screen fell into darkness.

After two or three seconds, a lively cheeseburger appeared on the big screen, with the cash register program being played on some noisy radio. The roasted cheese, with a hint of charred beef and bacon, looked very real.

The driver who drove the truck picked it up and put it in his mouth to take a bite. The light yellow cheese burst out, accompanied by some red tomato sauce. After seeing this scene, the audience in Louis's live broadcast room sent comments one after another.

[ ===== ]

'Damn, this image is so good-! I used to think that John said that the development cost of Resident Evil was high. I thought it was bragging, but now it seems true.'

'No, I'm so hungry, looking at this burger!'

'You can be hungry after seeing it? I feel that this burger is a bit disgusting, it feels moldy.'

'Moldy? The previous person hasn't eaten a burger very much. It's just a minor problem. This is the case with cheeseburgers at night. If you often go to Burger King to buy a burger, you'll find that, though ugly, the taste is wonderful.'

'No, isn't this a zombie horror game? Why are we focusing on burgers?'

[ ===== ]

Watching the comments in the live studio almost spiral into a debate about burgers at the start, Louis coughed twice and quickly shifted the topic away. This kind of thing is likely to derail the mood. Just like debates about other things, it is very easy to cause audience disagreements.

"Everyone pay attention, what the radio said is obviously related to zombies." Louis quickly interrupted the conversation.

Getting the audience back on track, Louis put his attention back into the game. I have to say, at least from the current CG animation, this picture quality is really something.

Previous games from PixelPioneers Studio, including Binding of Isaac and Octopath Traveler, Louis had played a few times before, but they were obviously not very good. And the quality of Outlast itself, though it had delicate 3D visuals, still had many rough spots. It was hard to call it realistic.

But Resident Evil gives Louis a different, direct feeling. The details of this item in the picture are too real. How to describe it? It gives the sense that this is an AAA creation, with no feeling of cutting corners.

While joking with the audience in the live broadcast room, Louis watched the CG animation. A tired uncle driving a truck yawned, and a woman in white suddenly appeared in front of the truck.

BOOM-!

There was a muffled sound, followed by the rasping of brakes, and the woman was directly hit and thrown aside.

"I tell you, this woman must be a zombie, the standard old pattern." Louis smiled and looked at the audience in the live room.

Trying to scare me? Not likely. Now, he no longer scares easily.

After watching the truck driver, who hurriedly got off the vehicle, remove his hat and nervously talk to the corpse, Louis smiled with disdain: "Oh, wait for it, this zombie is going to climb up and attack this uncle. Don't believe me? This sort of pattern doesn't scare me. Do you think this game will scare me? If I get scared more than three times, I'll eat sh*t."

Ignoring the barrage of messages in the chat, Louis watched as the woman who had been hit slowly got up as expected. Accompanied by sudden tense music, the screen went dark, and Louis gave a confident grin.

Lens switch. It was a dark, rainy night, and Leon, looking handsome, was driving a jeep toward a gas station.

"Damn, this guy is so handsome, even more handsome than me," Louis remarked, although he had seen the CG promotion before, this moment still caught him.

Handsome faces are justice, John had a deep understanding of this. Imagine replacing Leon in Resident Evil with the burger-eating truck driver, swapping Ada with a middle-aged Russian woman, and making the tyrant a cute but attractive lady. John estimated that in the end, the tyrant would probably become the most popular character in the players' minds.

What's a tyrant? Forget monsters, even zombies. If they're attractive enough, they'll still captivate you. Therefore, in character creation, especially for face modeling, Evelien and her team's design work was held to high standards by John.

For example, the face model for Leon in the game was based on a very handsome model with a mix of British, Australian, Chinese, and Canadian features.

Faced with Louis's remarks, the audience in the stream room flooded the screen with a series of questions: ???

As Louis continued bragging, he noticed a pool of blood on the gas station's ground, signaling the beginning of player control. The upper left corner displayed a mission guide: explore the surrounding environment. At the same time, the center of the screen presented basic tutorials for the controls.

Following the guide to the convenience store's door, Louis pushed it open, and the camera zoomed in on Lyon's face for a close-up.

?, Is this supposed to be a horror game? The protagonist's face is way too good-looking!

Watching the flood of 'love' comments in the live room, Louis couldn't help but laugh. Glancing at the comments, he noticed one of his own moderators, whose social media profile showed a tough guy with eight-pack abs.

But jokes aside, Louis quickly got immersed in the game. Though Resident Evil uses a third-person, over-the-shoulder view compared to Outlast's first-person perspective, the excellent graphics and the immersion brought by the environmental details were equally impressive.

Holding a flashlight and listening to strange sounds in his headphones, Louis slowly walked deeper into the gas station.
