Phoenix Reborn In One Piece

Chapter 167: Chapter 167: Water 7

Two days later, the Dream Exploration Team arrived at Water 7.

"Water 7!"

"This place is amazing!"

"It's so beautiful!"

"What the heck is this? Why is seawater spraying from the top of the city?!"

The moment they saw Water Seven, the Dream Crew couldn't stop exclaiming in shock and curiosity.

"Grandma Kokoro was right! This really is an industrial city. Business here is booming—no wonder the sea train passes through!" Anya said in awe.

"This fountain system is pretty complicated. It looks like the water sprays out, flows through these channels, and then returns to the sea," Robin observed, fascinated by the city's grand design.

"Hey!"

"You guys—if you're pirates, you can't enter from the main gate. You should go around to the back streets instead!" A friendly voice called out.

"Got it! Thanks, old man! But we're not pirates~~" Nami replied.

"Not pirates... Hmm, now that I look closer, this ship does kind of look like a navy vessel..." The man realized he might have made a mistake.

The Dream Crew ignored him. With the twin paddle wheels turning, the Dream set course straight for the front entrance of Water Seven.

"That flag… it looks kind of familiar..." The old man muttered, deep in thought.

"Ah!"

"I remember now! That's the Dream Exploration Team's flag! I can't believe this legendary expedition crew has come to Water Seven!"

...

As they entered the inner waterways of Water Seven, everyone was completely stunned.

"This is amazing! What a beautiful city… It's really a floating city on the sea..." Nami said, gazing at the buildings around her in awe.

"But the whole city is covered in water. The houses look like they're sinking..." Leah said worriedly as she looked around.

"That's not it. The city was built on foundations that were originally under the sea. Look at the stone bases under the buildings," Robin explained gently.

"Oh, so that's why it's called the City of Water~~" Daisy suddenly understood.

"Let's dock at the port first, then we can explore. I heard the local specialty, 'Aqua Meat,' is really delicious," Daisy said, already drooling at the thought.

"Yes, yes, yes!"

"Let's head to the port!" Ryuen agreed immediately.

They had tried Aqua Meat back in Loguetown, and it was super expensive there!

Thinking about it now, it felt like the Dream sped up just a little, quickly following the guideposts toward the port.

Before long, they arrived. Aside from merchant ships, there were even navy warships docked there, but no one paid much attention.

After Nami paid the docking fee, everyone rushed excitedly toward the Bluerental shop.

"Welcome! Are you looking to rent a Blue?" The shop owner greeted them warmly.

"Yes! We'd like to rent some Blues!" Nojiko answered.

"Which type would you like? We have Spearfish, Shark, and Kingfish models. How many people in your group?" the owner asked.

"Uh... there are nine of us. What do you recommend?" Nami asked, hoping for a suggestion.

"For nine people, I'd say four Spearfish Blues should be enough. They're strong, and each one comfortably seats three," the owner suggested.

"Sounds good, thanks!" Nami said gratefully.

She handed over the rental fee—4000 Beli for four Spearfish Blues. The owner quickly got everything ready for them.

In Water Seven, the waterways were more common than walking paths. For the locals, Blues were an essential part of daily life.

And for visitors like them, it was no different.

"Whoa~~~"

"This is amazing! I never thought there'd be fish that pull boats!" Hog stared at the Shark Blue under their boat, completely fascinated.

"Hahaha, right? Let's get going! It's time for some Aqua Meat!" Daisy urged excitedly.

"Let's go~~~!"

Tourists Riding on Blue

"This place is so relaxing! The atmosphere in Water 7 feels perfect for a vacation!" Nami stretched out her arms, closed her eyes, and took a deep breath, enjoying the slow-paced life here.

"Yeah, it's really nice. Feels even more laid-back than Skypiea," Ryuen agreed.

"Let's go find some Water Meat! It's been so long since we last had it," Leah called out excitedly.

"Hahaha! Look at that, Leah's craving it already!" Daisy laughed.

"Hmph! You're all the same, don't act like it's just me," Leah huffed.

...

Before long, they found a shop selling Water Meat.

"Boss, how much for the Water Meat? Actually, forget it, we'll take everything you have!" Ryuen said boldly.

"All... all of it?" The shop owner froze on the spot, staring at them in disbelief.

In no time, after handing over a hefty amount of Beli, they cleared out the entire shop and carried all the Water Meat back to Blue's ship.

"This is amazing!"

"It's so smooth and tender, and the taste is so unique! It's absolutely delicious!" Robin, who had never tried Water Meat before, took one bite, and her eyes instantly lit up.

"Hehehe~"

"Of course! It's a dish approved by our little chef Anya!" Nami grinned, handing a piece to Blue.

If she didn't, it would just keep staring at them, drooling and not watching where it was going. After all, swordfish loved Water Meat.

People on the shore glanced over in surprise. The Dream Crew had bought way too much Water Meat, and they were eating it at an incredible speed…

But they didn't pay much attention to the stares, casually listening to the vendors calling out as they drifted through the waterways of Water 7.

"Hehe!"

"Freshly made takoyaki here!"

"Two Water Meat fritters, right?"

"Everything looks so good, Nami! How about we get some takoyaki and fritters too?" Ryuen swallowed the last of his Water Meat and turned toward the delicious smell.

"You're impossible. Here, go get it yourself." Nami sighed, pulling out 10,000 Beli and handing it to Ryuen.

"Hehe~"

"Boss! Give me 100 servings of takoyaki and 100 Water Meat fritters!"

"Huh???"

"Kid, are you trying to kill me with work?"

"You idiot!"

"You're seriously turning down money?"

"I was just joking! Who would refuse to make money? Hahaha!"

"Ugh... I feel like Ryuen is getting dumber by the day..." Nami held her forehead, speechless as she watched Ryuen on the shore.

"Maybe he was always like this, hahaha!"

"Hahaha!"

For a moment, everyone burst into laughter.
