Chapter 201: 201. Moon
----
What the Tru Kingdom needs to reform now isn't just its military strategies. While everything is proceeding in an orderly manner, the foundational framework has been fully implemented.
From here, gradual refinements in specific areas can be made.
None of the three present had any objections to the proposals Anos had put forth this time.
As a swordsman, Abona wasn't directly responsible for managing the military, but Fujitora and Daiki had a thorough understanding of these matters.
They knew precisely what the proposed refinements would achieve in the long term.
"These adjustments are perfect for managing the entire military structure. They'll effectively prevent unforeseen situations from arising," Fujitora commented.
"For now, don't worry too much about these matters. The Tru Kingdom's forces won't remain limited to their current numbers. In the future, the military will expand significantly."
"However, the tens of thousands of troops currently stationed in Skypiea will become the kingdom's backbone. When training their skills, ensure they also develop strong leadership abilities. This way, the next wave of recruits can rely on competent generals to guide them," Anos instructed.
"My subordinates and I will take full responsibility for this, Your Majesty," Daiki responded with conviction.
For Anos, this day marked a significant milestone not only had he secured Admiral Fujitora's allegiance, but he was also able to solidify plans to refine the military structure.
Identifying potential issues and resolving them preemptively ensured everything was progressing in the right direction.
The four spent nearly three hours in discussion, addressing every detail and resolving both anticipated and unexpected questions.
One notable issue raised was the lower oxygen levels in Skypiea, for which Anos had already devised a straightforward solution.
As night fell on Skypiea, Anos stood alone at the training grounds, gazing up at the stars. Reflecting on the past few years, he couldn't help but sigh at how his life had changed.
If not for his responsibility to this vast kingdom and its people, he might have chosen a simpler life, enjoying the pleasures of wealth and freedom.
But fate had other plans, and now his goal was to grow stronger alongside his kingdom.
"Brother Anos…"
As Anos stood lost in thought, a voice broke through the silence. Turning around, he saw a young man with a goofy smile approaching him eagerly.
Enel had shown remarkable growth over the past month. With a natural aptitude for observation and a sharp mind, he had already begun to distinguish himself.
If given the proper guidance, Anos believed this young man could one day become a formidable general. One thing was certain: Enel's potential was limitless.
Smiling at the approaching figure, Anos asked, "It's late. Why aren't you asleep yet?"
"Huh? I just finished training and I'm not sleepy!" Enel replied with a grin.
"How's your training going after more than a month? Have you noticed any progress?" Anos inquired.
"Definitely! Brother Zen has started teaching me the basics of Haki, and I'm also practising the Six Powers techniques. They're tough, but I'm getting the hang of it. I've set a goal to master all six techniques and Haki within two years. Once I do, I'll be able to support you better, Brother Anos!" Enel said with enthusiasm.
Anos chuckled softly, impressed by Enel's determination. After a brief moment of thought, a blue light flickered in his hand, and a thick book materialized.
"Take this," Anos said, handing the book to Enel. "It's a guide on electromagnetism. Study it carefully it'll help you unlock the full potential of the Thunder Fruit in the future. If you have any questions, ask Zen or me. I look forward to seeing how far you'll go."
Enel stared at the book curiously. "Electromagnetism? What's this for?" he asked.
"This knowledge will help you refine your abilities. If you want to reach the moon someday, understanding this will be essential," Anos replied with a smile.
"The moon? Is that even possible?" Enel asked, his eyes wide with disbelief.
"Of course! Have I ever lied to you? Study this book thoroughly, but don't neglect your training. Once you've mastered its contents, I'll give you an even better gift," Anos promised.
"I don't need gifts. All I want is the chance to visit Tru Kingdom and see the powerful warriors there. Reaching the moon maybe my dream, but I also want to experience the world below," Enel said earnestly.
Anos smiled, appreciating the young man's ambition. Enel's natural talent, combined with his determination and perseverance, made him a promising future leader.
If nurtured properly, his potential would truly be limitless.
