"The mighty world government wants the help of little old me ? If you agents haven't infiltrated land of Wano just to meet me, I wouldn't have believed that." Kurozumi Higurashi spoke to the CP 0 agent in front of her.

"Don't get cocky. We need the power of your devil fruit. And in exchange, we are willing to pay you the price. Hlb better for you not to act high and mighty. Otherwise I will go for plan b, and kill you right here right now." The tone of CP 0 agent was harsh.

In truth, the CP zero agent was actually a master negotiator. He knew what kind of person Higurashi was. She was not brave. She just acts brave. A little bit of threatening will do the job.

"Now now....Why are you getting so violent ? I never disagreed to work with you. Now tell me, what is the job ?" As the CP zero agent has expected, Higurashi immediately agreed to his proposal after a bit of threatening.

"Listen carefully. Anytime from now, an agent will come to you. You will have to follow him. With the power of your clone clone devil fruit you will have to copy the face of a person and act as an hostage instead of her." The CP 0 agent explained to Higurashi.

The five elders have already tried the plant to take Kureha as an hostage. But it has failed spectacularly in the past. The last time, not only they failed to successfully take the woman as a hostage, but also suffered heavily afterwards.

It turned out that Maki has some means to keep an constant eye on Kureha. The world government cannot kidnap her or take her as a hostage. So they decided to find an alternate method. Finally they found one. With the help of clone clone fruit, they can easily replicate the looks of Kureha. They will need a distraction. And if they took the copy of Kureha as a hostage, then they will be able to catch Maki off guard.

That's why they searched for the user of clone clone devil fruit. Finally they found her in the pirate's Paradise Hachinosu. But the problem was the person was in the crew of Rocks D Xebec.

Due to the conflict with Xebec, the CP organisation didn't approach her immediately. But they have been keeping an eye on her. And as soon as she left the Rocks pirates and returned to the land of Wano, the CP organisation immediately engaged their spys and approached the old woman.

"Alright I understand. But I want something equivalent in exchange apart from my own life." Higurashi knew that she cannot escape from the situation. So for the best option for her was to co-operate. But if she is going to work for them then she will make sure that she makes enough profit for the future.

"What do you want ?" The CP 0 agent asked dismissively.

"Enough weapons to raise a war in this country. The world government must have a lot of guns and swords to spare for the little old me." Higurashi said to the agent.

"Alright it is acceptable. I will let my superiors know about your price for the job. But be prepared. You can be called at any moment." The CP agent vanished into the forest after he finished speaking.

// Year 1886, March 13th, Drum Island

"Here is your target. Consume this poison before going to her. Her name is Kureha. She is a very experienced doctor. We don't want her to suspect you of any other trick." The spy in the ship of the world government gave a file and a vial of poison to Kurozumi Higurashi.

"I think everything else has been explained to you earlier ?" The agent asked her in an emotionless voice.

"Yes everything else has been explained to me very clearly. Don't worry this is not the first time I am impersonating." Higurashi went out of the ship and immediately got mixed in the population of the drum Island.

The CP agents have changed her attire in order to not raise any suspicion. She even received a quick run down of how people use very talked outside the land of Wano, just to make sure that Kureha doesn't suspect anything and notify Maki.

The clinic and medicine store of Kureha was outside the main city of the drum Island. It was situated near the pine forest. So most of the new comers doesn't know about the place and rarely visited her shop and clinic. But due to her skills as a medicine specialist, many other doctor in the island recommend the patients if the case is very severe to Kureha.

Higurashi first injected herself with the poison and went to a local doctor recommended by the CP agents. The doctor she was going to, was actually a disciple of Kureha. So knowing that his patient has been poisoned, he will definitely recommend him to the old doctor. That way no one will suspect Higurashi for going to a doctor very little known.

The CP agents were very careful with their every Move because they didn't want to fail the crucial operation.

After getting recommended Higurashi immediately went to Kureha's clinic. The poison given by the CP agent was fatal. But it is only dangerous if not treated properly and immediately. It was just slow poison that will slowly destroy the body within a couple of weeks.

Due to the expert acting skills of Higurashi, Kureha couldn't suspect anything. Her colour of armament might be very strong but the same cannot be said about her colour of observation. Especially when sensing other's emotions.

After getting treated, Higurashi paid the price for her treatment and immediately return to the world government's ship.

"Show us !" As soon as Higurashi appeared on the ship, the CP agent asked her to demonstrate the clone of Kureha.

Touching her face with her left hand, Higurashi turned into an exact copy of Kureha.

A person who cannot use observation haki to identify her haki, will be definitely fool by her looks. Differentiating the clone from the original was almost impossible by using the eyes only. But that was fine. They would be using a video broadcasting den den mushi to show Maki that they have captured her friend anyway.
