Arrival of Garp and Roger

Monkey D Garp was in a secluded island in the calm belt. He was in a vacation for a month. And Garp has no intention of going back to his job before the end of the vacation.

But why a secluded island ?

The reason was simple. Garp was currently the strongest marine in the entire force. So most of the time, he is the one who deals with troublesome pirates. Kong was lenient towards him and ignores his small mistakes only because of his strength. Kong even let him sometimes of the hook for disobeying direct orders and disrespecting celestial Dragons because he is the only one capable of dealing with problems like Rocks and Rogers.

Sengoku is good. But not good as Garp.

But all of these positives come with a few negatives.

First of all, unlike the other marines, Kong doesn't late Garp leave from his duty and go on a vacation. Due to the terrors of the pirates in the new world, and the decreasing strength of the marines, Garp has to keep the strong pirates of the new world at check.

And Garp didn't mind it either. As long as he is not dealing with civilians, Garp was happy to chase after pirates. After his own son and disciple decided to leave the marines and form one of the main bane of the world government, Garp lost his previous vigour. Capturing pirates, chasing after Rogers and regularly clashing with Rocks, became his only way to distract himself and pass time. He barely took any vacation and worked continuously without taking any break. Kong was worried that Garp might lose his spirit and thus strength, if this continues. And he didn't want to lose such an important and powerful soldier. That's why he gave him a vacation for a month.

And Garp being Garp, decided to dump his den den mushi in the Marine headquarters and went on his vacation on a dingy and some supplies.

And now he was laying on a beach chair while relaxing under the sun. The weather was nice. The aroma of the meat that was being cooked in the fire pit, a little away from the beach was making him drool. Slowly sipping the coconut water, Garp contemplated about the situation in the marines. Hey still remembered his mother's last words before he left his home Island, the dawn Island in the east blue. His mother wanted him to walk in the right path. But she also wanted him to be safe. That's why she told him to join the marines.

Back pain the marines are considered as one of the greatest powers in the world under the world government. The system of the adjusted was very good on the paper. The reality was different and his mother has already told him about it before he left. But to keep his words, he has given to Grey, Garp joined the marines. From an ordinary sea man to rear admiral and then vice admiral. With his strength, Garp climbed the ladder of ranks very easily. Hi always stayed away from the business of the world the one man and focused on hunting down pirates and saving innocent people.

That's a couple of years ago it changed. And his life changed along with it for the better or worse.

Thinking about the past couple of years, Garp sighed. But then suddenly he felt a lot of aura approaching him from the sea. Focusing his observation haki, he found that it was a ship. And the ship has the haki of his right hand man, Bogard. He didn't have to wait long untill he saw a Marine battle ship approaching the island.

Garp raised an eyebrow. They wouldn't be here unless it is an emergency. Bogard was the only person he has given his viver card to. And he wouldn't come on his own unless Kong ordered him to.

"Captain ! The Rocks pirates have already left !" Gabban shouted after a ruffian from Hachinosu, spilled the beans regarding location of the Rocks pirates.

What were the Roger pirates doing in the pirates Paradise, Bee Hive Island ?

Well after the news of Roger pirates reaching the last Island shown on the log pose was published, they became very famous. But with fame, other troubles also appeared. First of all Garp's aunt told them about the existence of the four road poneglyphs and how they needed someone who can read the poneglyph in order to reach the last Island of the grand line. After that they has been searching for such a person. But after the news was published about them, Rocks D Xebec, the so called over lord of the sea, approached them and invited Rogers to join him. Obviously Rogers declined.

After that the skirmish between the Rogers and the Rocks started. The problem was Rocks was very strong. Although Rogers could fight him, from there first clash it was obvious that Rocks D Xebec was stronger than Rogers. But that was not the only problem. There were other powerful men working under Rocks such as Charlotte Linlin, Edward Newgate, Shiki, captain John and many more.

Rogers has no interest in power play. He wanted adventure. But there clashes with the Rocks annoyed him.

So Rogers decided to beat Rocks first and then continue there adventure. So they have been searching for an opportunity to take down Rocks pirates.

That's why they were at Bee Hive Island searching for Rocks D Xebec.

"We cannot let him cause anymore havoc. Let's go ! We will follow them !" Rogers said enthusiastically.

"It seems that they have gone to West blue. We will have to hurry up in order to catch up to them." Rayleigh said gulping down the bottle of sake.

"Do you think they are going to the island that informant told us about ? The one with one of the road poneglyphs ?" Spencer, one of the members of the Roger pirates asked Rogers.

"It doesn't matter if it is that Island or not. I am going to defeat Rocks no matter what. And if it is indeed the island with the road poneglyph, then we can always take a rubbing of it when we return." Rogers said with a big smile on his face.
