Chapter 62: Chapter 62: Landing! King of Fists, Little Shiro, Sword Saint Little Kane
"Boss, we've arrived!"
On the lookout tower, Kumo excitedly waved his arms, signaling Natsu as he spotted the island with its unique shape through the binoculars. He couldn't contain his excitement, knowing he would soon reunite with his two brothers. The memories flooded back, and Kumo couldn't help but shed a few tears.
The "Smiling" ship slowly approached the island, expertly docked by Noriyuki . It settled steadily along the coast.
On the island, at the top of a towering tree, a golden monkey observed the landing through its sharp eyes. It swiftly dashed through the jungle, leaping from tree to tree, and soon arrived at a wooden house in the center of the island.
"Chirp chirp! Roar!"
The wooden door creaked open, and a muscular monkey walked out. He had slicked-back hair and carried a two-meter-long dark blade with gold flame tattoos glowing fiercely on his arm.
"Roar! What's happening?"
"Oooh, ooh, ooh! ╭(′•o•′)╭☞" the little monkey chirped excitedly, hopping around and pointing toward the coast. It eagerly shared all the information it had gathered.
"Roar!" Understood, you can go now!
After giving the orders, Monkey King, aka Little Kene, paused and walked toward a large wooden house shaped like a tiger's head. He kicked the door open, revealing a massive white tiger, who groggily wiped its mouth with its paw and gave Monkey King an irritated glare.
It was clear: the only beasts on this island that could challenge them were these two—Little Kene, the Monkey King, and Little Shiro , the White Tiger. Natsu had raised them, and aside from not being able to speak, they were indistinguishable from humans in most aspects.
"Roar, roar, roar! Someone's on the island!" shouted Little Kene, alerting Little Shiro.
"Oooh! Roar!" Little Shiro responded, his eyes gleaming with danger. He remembered the last time a pirate crew stumbled onto the island a month after Natsu left. Their graves were overgrown with grass by now.
Licking his spiked tongue, Little Shiro stood up slowly. His massive body stood three meters tall, and if fully upright, he reached over six meters, a terrifying force of nature. His muscles were like solid rock, and his presence alone could intimidate any intruders.
With that, the two beasts, Monkey King and White Tiger, prepared themselves, sharpening their claws and blades as they marched toward Natsu.
On their way, all the beasts they passed made way, bowing their heads in submission. Even massive creatures over ten meters tall lowered their prideful heads, knowing all too well that those who resisted had been dragged out and dealt with by these two kings.
"Natsu, a horde of fierce beasts is approaching!" Enel felt the oppressive aura of the approaching beasts. His body crackled with thunder as he bit into a red apple, his expression unchanging.
"Boss, boss! It's Little Shiro and Little Kene!" Kumo shouted with excitement. Only these two brothers on the island had the power to control such a fierce group of beasts.
"This is perfect. You two go and test their progress. See if they've been training well," Natsu said with a faint smile, ready to take advantage of the opportunity.
"Natsu, if you go too hard on them and they get hurt, don't blame me!" Enel warned with a shrug.
"No worries. And Enel, don't underestimate them—they're my partners," Natsu replied confidently.
Enel raised an eyebrow, intrigued. He couldn't wait to see what made these beasts different. Could they be like that chubby ball?
"You two go too. Don't get hurt. Kumo, follow closely behind!" Natsu said, looking at Eirin and Noriyuki, who nodded in agreement before running ahead. Kumo's round figure waddled after them, munching on cotton candy.
"Roar! Someone's here!" the Monkey King shouted.
"Oooh! This one's strong!" Little Shiro echoed.
The two kings glanced at each other, unsheathing their weapons in preparation. Seeing their leader's action, the monkey and tiger groups withdrew, giving them space, their bodies tensed and ready for action.
"A monkey using a sword? A tiger throwing punches?" Enel thought to himself as he observed the scene from the sky, raising an eyebrow. This was getting interesting.
Just as Enel was lost in thought, a terrifying sword aura exploded below, headed straight for him. Instinctively, Enel felt a surge of danger.
"Sword energy with Haki? Impossible," Enel muttered, stunned. A monkey who could use Haki?!
"Roar!" the Monkey King shouted. "Where are you looking?"
Little Kene leaped high into the air, dashing through the towering trees, and with a powerful jump, he swung his massive blade downward toward Enel.
"Vroom!"
The blade hummed as it cut through the air, and the resulting sword energy sent a chill down Enel's spine. He quickly created distance, swinging his golden staff with all his might.
"Bang!"
The two forces collided, sending shockwaves through the air. The sword energy and staff clashed, and within a few hundred meters, trees were felled and reduced by ten meters.
"Roar!"
Just as Enel managed to distance himself, a terrifying roar from the White Tiger rang through the air, and with it came the overwhelming power of a beast king. While not as intimidating as the Conqueror's Haki, it still made Enel pause for a moment.
"Roar! Roar!" The White Tiger called. "Dragon-slaying Fist! Dragon style!"
The roar of a dragon and the cry of a tiger echoed through the sky as a golden dragon-shaped fist tore through the air, hitting Enel's body. The force was so overwhelming that even Enel's ability to transform into electricity couldn't fully react, and the sheer power of the blow caused blood to spill from his mouth.
"Ha ha ha ha! This is interesting!" Enel laughed, his expression turning serious. For the first time, he realized the consequences of his arrogance.
"Boom!"
Little Kene surged forward again, not giving Enel any time to react. The blade shimmered coldly as it aimed for Enel's neck.
"Solitary Nine Swords: Break the Ties!"
"Humph! I'm serious now! You'll see the difference!" Enel shouted, finally acknowledging the threat in front of him.
The Golden Staff and Little Kene's massive blade clashed again, thunder crackling as the storm of energy surged around them. Just as Enel thought he had the upper hand and was ready to unleash a thunderstrike, something unexpected happened.
"Shockblade!"
Enel couldn't believe his eyes as Little Kene not only wielded Haki expertly, but also mastered techniques like the Shockblade, an advanced swordsmanship move. Enel's staff shook violently in his hands, and before he knew it, it was knocked out of his grasp, falling from the sky.
"Chirp chirp, roar roar!" The monkeys and tigers below cheered, their excitement echoing as they watched their king dominate the human.
"Wow! Noriyuki, did you see that? That monkey just knocked out Enel's weapon!" Eirin gasped, his eyes wide in disbelief.
"Is this what Kumo's brothers are like? They're really strong! Looks like the Smiling Pirates have gained two more powerful members!" Noriyuki said with a grin. The Smiling Pirates were growing stronger, and that was great news for everyone in the crew.
"Roar!" the White Tiger growled. "What are you staring at?!"
"Chirp chirp! (*Ӧ)σ Take him down!"
Just as Eirin and Noriyuki discussed Enel's fight with the beasts, the monkey and tiger groups noticed the two of them. The beasts turned their attention toward them, eyes full of excitement.
"Oh no, we've been spotted!" Eirin exclaimed.
"Then let's fight! It's the perfect time to test our strength!" Noriyuki said, raising his sword. Although the sight of dozens of smaller tigers and monkeys wielding claws and blades gave him pause, he still spoke with resolve. A great battle was about to begin.
