"That's because the eyes originally belonged to Madara," Black Zetsu explained as it helped Obito to his feet. "They inherently reject non-original users."
"Don't worry, Obito. Once we gather all the tailed beasts and you become the Jinchūriki of the Ten-Tails, you'll surpass even the Sage of Six Paths. Immortality will be within your grasp, and you'll rule the infinite dreamscape of the Infinite Tsukuyomi! All these small inconveniences will vanish like dust."
Trying to quell any doubts Obito might have, Black Zetsu painted a tantalizing picture of the future.

Without delay, the two sped toward the other side of Turtle Island, where the Two-Tails' Jinchūriki awaited.
"Nii Yugito, I sense the chakra of a Tailed Beast Bomb!"
In her inner world, the Two-Tails, Matatabi, furrowed its brows, sensing Gyūki's enormous chakra signature.
"Could it be that Killer B has encountered a formidable enemy?"
Nii Yugito stood tall, her long light-brown hair tied into a waist-length braid. Her sharp black eyes shone with intelligence, and her pale, flawless skin made her stand out among the darker-skinned shinobi of Kumogakure. Her haughty demeanor was unmistakable—this was the Two-Tails' Jinchūriki, Nii Yugito.
With a flick of her claws, she decapitated a White Zetsu clone, her expression clouded with worry.

"Yugito-sama is our priority!" another shinobi countered. "Our mission is to protect the Two-Tails' Jinchūriki. If B-sama has fallen, what good would our help be?"
The Kumogakure squad was torn—should they prioritize rescuing Killer B or safeguarding Yugito? The White Zetsu clones were endless, fearlessly charging at them in waves.
"We're going to help B!" Yugito decided after a brief pause.
As a perfect Jinchūriki, Killer B's resilience was extraordinary. He was likely still holding on, and with her help, the two of them together would be a force to reckon with—even against Konoha's Hokage.
Her determination left no room for argument. Yugito was both their leader and their strongest warrior.
"These creatures… Matatabi!" Yugito called out in her mind.
"Understood!" The blue-flamed cat responded instantly.
In a flash, a blue chakra tail materialized behind Yugito. She had entered her partial transformation state.
"Fire Rat!"
A fireball shot from her mouth, splitting mid-air into countless blue flame missiles.
In an instant, a sea of White Zetsu clones was engulfed in blue fire. The surrounding area erupted into a blazing inferno, forming a wall of flames that cut off the clones' advance.
"Move out!"
With her glowing cat claws extended, Yugito led the Kumogakure shinobi as they raced toward the other side of Turtle Island.
Coincidentally, their path was set on a direct collision course with Obito and Black Zetsu.
