Naruto: The legend of Kiba

Chapter 17: Late

Chapter 17 Late

When Kiba returned home, he slept

deeply and then resumed his eternal training. After his daily training, he went

through the routine of Eight Gates + hand seal forming+ ninjutsu. This routine

nearly exhausted his physical strength, putting his strange power training on

hold again.

Since the Jonin instructor would

summon them the next day, Kiba decided not to continue training and rested

after dinner.

When morning came, Kiba woke up on

time, feeling unusually refreshed. He opened the window and took a deep breath

of the fresh morning air.

Suddenly, a question popped into

his mind. How

will the Jonin teacher notify him to gather?

Kiba realized that when the

teacher asked the three of them to sit together yesterday, he hadn't received

any notification. It was only when Hirohiko and Yukina took the initiative to

sit beside him that he found out.

"It feels like a trap,"

Kiba smiled wryly.

Out of the corner of his eye, he

noticed a kunai stuck under his window with a piece of paper tied to it

fluttering in the morning breeze.

Instinctively, Kiba ducked back. Could it be an explosive

tag?

His first thought was that a

Jonin's accomplice was still in the village, attacking him.

However, the expected explosion

didn't happen. The only sound was the rustling of paper in the wind.

Frowning slightly, Kiba approached

the window cautiously and looked down. He saw that the kunai was tied to a

blank piece of paper with writing on it, definitely not an explosive tag.

Breathing a sigh of relief, he

took down the kunai and the paper.

At 11 o'clock this morning, gather at the gate of

Konoha.

It was a simple message from his

Jonin teacher.

Kiba looked at the wall clock. It

was only around 7:20 AM.

I can finish my daily training! There are more than

three hours left, which should be enough time.

Kiba quickly washed up, ate

breakfast (Konoha extra-large steamed buns), and started his daily training:

·

500

side kicks

·

500

punches

·

500

squats

·

500

push-ups

After these, Kiba didn't run the

usual 10,000 meters but took a cold shower and changed into clean clothes.

Checking the clock, it was 10:45.

It's almost time to go.

Kiba left his cabin, wondering, What kind of Jonin will it

be? Namikaze Minato? But he's with Kakashi's team, so it's unlikely. Too bad!

As he walked, Kiba thought about

how important a good Jonin teacher was for improving his skills quickly. In the

original story, Sasuke learned the A-level ninjutsu Chidori from Kakashi, and

Naruto learned the Rasengan from Jiraiya, also an A-level ninjutsu.

Similarly, Rock Lee benefited

greatly from learning the Eight Gates from Guy, amplifying his taijutsu talent

and becoming a formidable ninja.

In Naruto's world, a good teacher

was crucial.

If only

Namikaze Minato could be our teacher; maybe I could secretly learn Flying

Thunder God.

While deep in thought, Kiba soon

reached the village center and then the gate of Konoha.

"Thank you," he heard an

elderly voice saying on the side of the road, thanking someone.

Looking over, he saw a boy with big

goggles on his forehead, smiling warmly at the elderly woman who thanked him.

"It's okay, grandma!" he said, running off wildly, muttering

anxiously, "I'm really going to be late now!"

Kiba blinked, recognizing him. Is that... Obito?

I really

did travel to the Naruto world!

Seeing characters like Kakashi and

the Third Hokage always felt surreal to Kiba.

"Uh..." Suddenly, Kiba

started running wildly. I'm going to be

late too!

By the time he reached the Konoha

Gate, he was already ten minutes late. Uchiha Hirohiko and Hyuga Yukina were

waiting there, along with a beautiful red-haired woman with her arms crossed

and a frown on her face.

Is this

our Jonin teacher? She looks... familiar.

Kiba's mouth twitched. Uchiha

Hirohiko and Hyuga Yukina had neutral expressions, but the red-haired woman

looked furious. Kiba had no doubt that if he ran up like this, he would

definitely be scolded.

I need an

excuse.

While running, Kiba's mind raced.

Got it!

At that moment, the three of them

noticed Kiba running over. Uchiha Hirohiko and Hyuga Yukina nodded slightly

when they saw him.

But the red-haired woman's mouth

twitched, her brows furrowed, her hair fluttered slowly, and she raised a fist

uncontrollably.

"Ha! Good morning, everyone!

Today, I got lost on the road of life, so..." Kiba said, waving.

"Boom!"

Kiba was punched hard on the top of

his head, a big bump forming instantly, still smoking.

Damn, that

hurts!

Holding his head in pain, Kiba

squatted down.

After the punch, the red-haired

woman seemed to calm down. She smiled and said softly, "Now that everyone

is here, let me introduce myself. I am your teacher, Uzumaki Kushina."

Uchiha Hirohiko and Hyuga Yukina

were sweating at the back of their heads, shocked.

So fast! Kiba was several meters away, yet

she instantly appeared and punched him. The two gulped.

Is this

the power of a Jonin?

When Kiba heard her introduction,

his eyes widened.

Uzumaki

Kushina, Naruto's mother, Namikaze Minato's wife, Nine-Tails Jinchuriki, master

of sealing techniques...

Uzumaki

Kushina! She's my teacher?

Kiba stood up slowly as Kushina

introduced herself to Hirohiko Uchiha and Yukina Hinata, her back to him.

That red

hair...

No doubt,

it's Kushina Uzumaki.

Wait,

Uzumaki Kushina is just a Chunin... How can she lead our team?

Kiba suddenly felt a bad

premonition, as if some A-level ninjutsu had just flown away.

"Now, let's start with you.

Introduce yourselves," Uzumaki Kushina said, turning to Kiba.

"Taki Kiba."

"Uchiha Hirohiko."

"Hinata Yukina."

Although Kushina already knew their

names, introductions were still necessary.

"And what are your

specialties?" she asked, signaling Kiba to stand with Hirohiko and Yukina.

"Soft Fist technique,"

Hinata Yukina said first.

"Fire Style, Shadow

Clone," Uchiha Hirohiko added.

"Taijutsu," Kiba

responded.

Uzumaki Kushina frowned slightly.

Each had given concise answers, making it feel more like a report than an

introduction. Such a gloomy trio!

She sighed but then smiled warmly.

"Now that we know each other, let me treat you all to lunch. What do you

want to eat?"

"Barbecue!" the three

responded quickly and clearly.

Kushina's brow twitched, and her

smile became forced. "Very well, then. Let's eat at Ichiraku Ramen!"

"But it's not barbecue..."

Kiba began to protest, but Kushina's glare silenced him. Remembering the punch,

Kiba coughed lightly. "Hirohiko, Yukina, Ichiraku Ramen is very famous. I

like it a lot."

Uchiha Hirohiko and Hinata Yukina,

seeing Kushina's gaze, nodded. "Yes, yes, let's go eat Ichiraku

Ramen."

Kushina nodded in satisfaction.

"Alright, let's go. It's my treat."

The three responded happily but

thought inwardly, This teacher seems a

little unreliable...
