Chapter 18: Ichiraku Ramen

Ichiraku's owner is so young... This was Kiba's first thought upon entering Ichiraku Ramen.

"Okay, here are your ramen. Because it's Kushina, I added extra char siu for you," the young owner said, placing four bowls of ramen in front of them.

"Thank you, uncle!" the three said in unison.

"Brother teuchi, thank you," Uzumaki Kushina added.

The moment the ramen was placed down, Kiba's stomach growled. After all, he had just finished his morning training, and now it was time to eat. It was normal for him to be hungry, but he felt a bit embarrassed in front of Uzumaki Kushina and Hinata Yukina.

Taking a quick peek, he saw that the three of them didn't seem to notice him; they were all staring at the ramen in front of them.

"I'm starting!" Uzumaki Kushina was the first to break the disposable chopsticks and start eating.

"I'm gonna start now."

Uchiha Hirohiko and Hyuga Yukina also broke their chopsticks and began eating.

Kiba was stunned for a moment, then muttered, "I'm starting..." He quickly opened his chopsticks and began to eat.

For Kiba, who had been eating steamed buns, this Ichiraku Ramen was simply the best in the world. How long has it been since I ate meat?!

Kiba turned to look and saw Uzumaki Kushina smiling at him. "Eat."

Kiba looked at the bowl, then at Kushina, and hesitated.

"Eat it quickly. It won't taste good when it's cold," Uzumaki Kushina said again.

"Teacher, don't you want to eat?" Kiba asked, seeing the untouched bowl in front of Kushina.

"I had too much for breakfast today, so I can't eat anymore," Uzumaki Kushina replied.

Kiba frowned, hesitant.

"Eat quickly," Kushina insisted.

"But you haven't eaten it..." Kiba said, his expression showing reluctance to eat something Kushina might have touched.

Immediately, Uzumaki Kushina raised her fist unconsciously.

"Boom!"

"If I tell you to eat, you eat!" Uzumaki Kushina ordered, clearly annoyed.

Another big red bump appeared on Kiba's head, smoke rising from it. Despite the pain, Kiba smiled and said, "I'm starting." He grabbed the chopsticks and began to eat.

While Kiba ate, Uchiha Hirohiko and Hyuga Yukina glanced at him and were taken aback by his determined expression.

Then they looked at each other and nodded.

"My char siu is gone," Hyuga Yukina said, reaching over to snatch some char siu from Kiba's bowl.

"Mine too," Uchiha Hirohiko added, quickly reaching for a piece of char siu.

Unexpectedly, Kiba's chopsticks snatched it back before it fell into Hirohiko's bowl. During this, Kiba didn't even lift his head.

He also took back a piece of char siu from Yukina's side.

Seeing Kiba reclaim his char siu, the two weren't willing to give up. They reached again with their chopsticks, leading to a tug-of-war over the char siu.

"Boom!" "Boom!" "Boom!" Three lumps appeared on their heads as Uzumaki Kushina withdrew her fist, her brows twitching.

"Eat properly!" she scolded.

"Yes..." the three replied, focusing on eating their noodles.

However, they couldn't help but smile.

As for Uzumaki Kushina, she focused on Kiba, seeing herself in him when she first came to Konoha, bullied by boys and called the God of Plague.

I should care more about him, Uzumaki Kushina thought.

Then she looked at Hirohiko Uchiha and Yukina Hyuga, a smile forming on her lips. I should care more about every student.

Uzumaki Kushina smiled slightly, seeing the uncontrollable smiles on the three's faces.

After a while, Kiba drank the soup completely, followed by the other two, who did the same, lifting their bowls to drink the soup.

"Duh!"

The three put their bowls down together.

"Are you full?" Uzumaki Kushina asked.

"I'm full..." Kiba rubbed his stomach, genuinely satisfied after two bowls of noodles.

The other two nodded.

"Okay, now let's do some digestive exercises!" Uzumaki Kushina paid the bill, stood up, and smiled at them.

Seeing her smile, Kiba immediately had a bad feeling and looked at Hirohiko and Yukina.
