The Loki Familia swept through everything in their path, with magic flying everywhere. Of course, their magic power is not as powerful as that of magicians. Magicians in this world are very fragile, but their attack power is also very strong.

Take Riveria, for example. Not to mention her, even Lefiya, who is just at Level 3, could take down a group of Level 4 to level 5 monsters with a barrage of spells. That's what a true magician is capable of. Magicians, however, are nearly immobile while casting magic.

Even in cases of rapid chanting, where they can fight and chant simultaneously, the magic they release can't compare to the raw power of a dedicated mage's spell. Otherwise, the Goliath from back then would have been blown to pieces long ago.

When a magician explodes with power, taking down higher-level monsters is as easy as eating or drinking. However, this relies on having comrades to support them. Without backup, even someone like Riveria could potentially be taken down by a Level 3 monster.

After all, they've been chanting for too long, sacrificing defense and mobility in exchange for absolute offense. Even defensive magic requires time to prepare.

At this point, everyone realized that the members of Loki Familia might have acquired a large number of magic books from somewhere, which led to the current situation. However, magic books are extremely valuable.

Not to mention they are rare commodities. For so many people to have so many different types of magic, they would likely need dozens of magic books. But whether Orario could even find that many is questionable.

"Where did these monsters come from? Did they emerge from the dungeon? But how could dungeon monsters break through the dungeon's boundaries and come outside? Although there have been precedents before, these monsters' strength are clearly not enough to do so!"

After dealing with the plant monsters, Tiona and the others started discussing. The sudden appearance of these creatures was too unusual. Although there were records of monsters escaping from the dungeon, those monsters were all quite formidable.

For example, the black dragon that wiped out the Zeus and Hera Familia… that was a serious threat. Yet, these plant monsters, which is not even Level 5, just appeared out of nowhere.

"Something's wrong with this magic stone. Dungeon's magic stones aren't supposed to be this color!"

Finn picked up a stone, noting that its patterns were different from the usual purple-blue stones from the dungeon.

"Take it back and ask Loki. Bete, keep things tight. Don't let anyone else take these magic stones. We don't know what's going on, and if someone takes them carelessly, it might cause problems!"

Riveria also nodded, and then let Bete and the others handle the grunt work. Even though he didn't want to do it, Bete had no choice but to comply. These people were strong, and the one person he absolutely couldn't deal with was Riveria.

In the original work, Bert should have encountered these kinds of monsters while with Loki, but now, due to Asahi's butterfly effect, many plots had changed. However, the dungeon still seemed to be making moves, like sending these monsters out.

Soon, the members of Loki Familia gathered and returned to their base. As for the others, they left early. Staying here wasn't particularly safe. After all, they had just survived the first wave of monsters, what about the next?

The possibility of more monster attacks was a looming threat. Not wanting to risk their lives, they quickly disappeared without a trace.

"Interesting. The Monster Festival has brought out such strange creatures, and this magic stone is different from the ordinary ones. Looks like you'll need to head to the Guild for answers. By the way, Asahi, do you know what this is?"

Loki glanced at the magic stone and asked. This was the first time such changes had occurred in a dungeon.

"There have been some changes within the dungeon. As for what they are, you'll need to figure that out on your own. If I tell you everything, it wouldn't be fun anymore. After all, you are adventurers!"

"The goal of adventurers has always been to seek out adventure. Even if I told you everything, you'd probably still want to investigate yourselves. So, it's best to figure things out from the beginning. Don't rely too much on me, otherwise, you'll realize you're not true adventurers!"

Asahi's words left everyone momentarily stunned, and then everyone quickly understood.

"That's right, we have always been adventurers, existing for the purpose of adventure. Discovering the truth is our responsibility, not Asahi's. We can't rely on him too much, or we won't make any real progress as adventurers!"

Now Finn realized how much he had lost as an adventurer by relying too much on others.

"In that case, I'll head to the Guild. Ouranos must know something, and so should Ganesha. Why else would they organize an event like the Monster Festival?"

Loki confirmed her plan. Strictly speaking, Asahi was a friend but not part of their group, and they couldn't depend on him for everything. Otherwise, it would be too easy to lose the friendship they had. Both Loki and Hestia cherished the idea of nurturing bonds, hoping that through this, their children could live better lives.

"Will anyone in the Guild really know about this?"

Some of the others were doubtful, wondering why they needed to go to the guild.

"That guy, Ouranos, is as secretive as they come. He founded the Guild and oversees all the dungeons. If anyone knows anything, it's him. Plus, the Monster Festival was his idea. Make sure you get the details from him, alright?"

"And Ganesha too. That guy is strange, always hiding in the sewers like a rat. Quite the odd fellow!"

Loki spoke about Ouranos with a tone of exasperation. Unlike many of the gods who only indulged in pleasure, Loki had a more cautious mindset, always vigilant and concerned about divine matters. Though she often acted carefree, she was still a god with eons of experience, and figuring out what was on the minds of these ancient beings was no easy task.

She understood well that both Ganesha and Uranus had ulterior motive, as they had always advocated for humans and monsters to live together peacefully.

"Then let's split into two groups. Loki, you can go ask Ouranos. We'll go investigate the dungeon. With these monsters emerging, something must be changing down there."

Finn was confident in the direction they needed to go. Since the monsters had originated from the dungeon, it was necessary to dive in and see what had changed.
