Chapter 5: Miyuki's Hands
Senju Miyuki carefully inspected the ninja tools in the bag. "Hmm, all high-quality. No issues here," she said, nodding in approval.
After speaking, Senju Miyuki handed Yamamoto Shuichi a small wooden token, likely a receipt for the transaction. Noticing the young boy standing beside Shuichi, she smiled warmly. "Oh, how cute! Uncle Shuichi, is this your son?"
Shuichi chuckled and nudged the boy forward. "Yes, this is my son, Ryuusei. Go ahead, Ryuusei, greet Senju-sama properly."
Yamamoto Ryuusei bowed respectfully. "My name is Yamamoto Ryuusei, Senju Miyuki-sama. It is an honor to meet you. Please take care of me."
Miyuki crouched down, pinching his cheek lightly. "How polite! But if you want to call me 'sister,' you'll need to refine your chakra first."
Ryuusei shyly dodged her hand, replying earnestly, "I've already started practicing for a few days now."
Miyuki straightened up, placing a hand on her hip with a teasing grin. "Oh, still shy, are we? Very well, since you've started refining chakra, I'll teach you a bit of ninjutsu."
Ryuusei's eyes lit up with excitement. "Really? Thank you, Sister Miyuki!"
He had thought he'd have to wait until joining the Ninja Academy to learn ninjutsu, but this opportunity felt like a dream come true.
Miyuki ruffled his hair. "You only call me 'sister' when it benefits you, huh? Uncle Shuichi, I'll take Ryuusei with me for some training. I'll bring him back later."
Shuichi bowed slightly. "Thank you, Miyuki-sama. Please take care of him."
As they left, Ryuusei looked up at her with eager curiosity. "Sister Miyuki, what kind of ninjutsu will you teach me? Something cool, like fire or water techniques?"
Miyuki chuckled and playfully pinched his cheek again. "Not quite, kiddo. First, you'll learn the basics: the Three Basic Techniques."
As they walked, Shuichi watched his usually serious son acting so cheerfully and couldn't help but twitch at the corners of his mouth. That boy has always been so composed it's almost worrying, but seeing him like this... he actually looks like a normal child for once.
Miyuki brought Ryuusei to the Senju clan's training ground, where targets bore the marks of countless shuriken and kunai. She guided him to a shady spot under a tree.
"Ryuusei, ninjutsu relies on chakra, but chakra must be paired with proper hand seals. Today, your task is to memorize these twelve basic seals."
Over the next two hours, Miyuki patiently coached Ryuusei. Though his progress was slow, his seals were precise.
Satisfied with his effort, Miyuki then demonstrated the proper technique for throwing ninja tools. She had him practice until six o'clock before escorting him back.
On the way, Ryuusei practiced his hand seals while walking, his small hands moving nimbly. Miyuki observed him with a smile. "Ryuusei, you're diligent. With this attitude, you'll become a strong ninja someday."
When they arrived at the blacksmith shop, Miyuki instructed Ryuusei to return to the training ground daily at 4 p.m. to continue learning.

Back at home, the family was discussing future plans during dinner.
"Shuichi," said Nami, "I saw a promising shop location today. Should we buy it and hire a few workers?"
Shuichi nodded. "If you think it's a good idea, go for it. Shop prices are reasonable these days."
Ryuusei chimed in thoughtfully, "Why not rent it first and hire workers from the Senju clan? I can invite Sister Miyuki over for dinner tomorrow and ask if she wants to invest in our shop."
Nami tilted her head in confusion. "Ryuusei, we have enough savings. Why do we need investors?"
Ryuusei replied with a serious expression, "If it's just a small shop, it's fine. But if we want to grow big, we'll need the Senju clan as backers. That way, no one can touch us."
Shuichi hesitated. "Would it still feel like our shop, though?"
"It doesn't matter as long as we profit," Ryuusei said confidently. "If the shop grows, even a small share will bring huge income. Besides, it's better to partner with the Senju clan than to let competitors steal our ideas."
Shuichi sighed but nodded. "I suppose you're right. But what can convince Senju Miyuki-sama?"
Ryuusei smirked. "Don't worry, I have a plan. Tomorrow, I'll prepare a dish so delicious that even Hokage-sama won't be able to resist our partnership."
Nami raised an eyebrow. "What dish could be that amazing?"
Ryuusei grinned mysteriously. "You'll see. I promise it'll be worth it."
He envisioned introducing "Buddha Jumps Over the Wall" to a world where even basic barbecue was a luxury. The dish would be a culinary bombshell, shaking all of Konoha.
Later that night, Ryuusei diligently refined chakra and practiced his seals. Though combining both tasks proved difficult, he remained determined.
By morning, he left a note detailing his plans and set out for another day of hard work and training.
