As Zeng Shen exited a clothing store, the sound of sirens blared incessantly. Over ten military SUVs, filled with heavily armed soldiers, patrolled the streets and alleys.

"Hey, what's going on?" Zeng Shen asked a passing local.

The local initially ignored him but, upon receiving a bill thrown his way, replied, "Admiral Bayard's gone mad. He's stationed personnel in every street and alley, conducting facial checks on everyone, even those at home."

"Facial checks?"

"Yeah, using a device that scans for any fake skin on your face," the local explained.

Hearing about the facial checks, Zeng Shen felt a bit smug. His disguise mask was impervious to detection unless faced with someone stronger than himself. Modern equipment, lacking divine energy, couldn't reveal it. Even direct contact wouldn't reveal the mask, unless he removed it himself.

After parting with the local, Zeng Shen returned to his RV with Lin Keke. Once inside, he took out a replica card and said, "Sweetheart, I forgot to make a fake identity for you. Go inside for now and I'll bring you out later."

"Yes, Master," Lin Keke replied, turning into a light and entering the replica card.

Zeng Shen then opened his phone, checking a map marked by Xiao Ai that indicated where to find tunneling machines and full-face boring machines in Old Gold Mountain.

After a brief look, he closed his phone, drove the RV towards a large heavy industrial factory near a military base on the southern outskirts of Old Gold Mountain, where tunneling machines might be produced.

The journey, typically a twenty-minute drive out of the city, was significantly delayed. At every intersection, Zeng Shen was stopped and subjected to questioning and facial scans by soldiers before being allowed through.

After this happened three times, Zeng Shen grew weary. He parked No. 1 in a deserted lot, stored it in his backpack, and then flew invisibly towards the southern outskirts.

Flying directly took only ten minutes to reach the marked heavy industrial factory, potentially producing the required tunneling machines.

Approaching the factory walls, Zeng Shen heard the urgent warning. Initially, he thought there might be some deity or beast within, but learning it was occupied by a unique intelligent species, the mechanical tribe, he felt thrilled.

The mechanical tribe, like Xiao Ai and Xiao Ti, was present here, which piqued Zeng Shen's curiosity.

Excited, he flew inside, searching for the mechanical tribe.

The Jinshan Heavy Industry Plant was vast, with numerous workers in military uniforms. Zeng Shen flew and teleported between buildings but found no sign of the mechanical tribe.

Eventually, he entered the plant's control room and discovered a hidden basement accessible via an underground elevator.

"My goodness, are these ten beasts the terrifying steel beasts?" Zeng Shen wondered, casting Peeping Eyes on them.

Standing in the doorway, Zeng Shen concentrated, storing the ten velociraptors and the T-rex in his backpack space.
