Marvel: Web of Spiders

Chapter 2: 2- Aunt May

Walking through the suburbs of Queens, Jayce rubbed his shoulders. "Those glitches are brutal!"

After hitting up a hotdogs stand and emptying his wallet to fill his stomach, decided that his best shot for a head start was to immediately go to Aunt May's house.

Speaking of-

Ring, Ring

"Coming!" A woman's voice sounded out behind the door before she opened it, revealing her still blazing red hair and kind face. "Umm, we're not taking visitors right now."

Holding the door before she could close it, Jayce pleaded with her. "Hold on, Aunt May! I need your help!"

Sensing something wrong, May relented. "What?"

"Well, I'm sort of from another reality where my Peter is still in high-school and I was just bitten and I have no idea what to do!" He told her, all in one breath.

Aunt May visibly relaxed. "Oh, another one. Come on in then."

Jayce was surprised at how fast she switched up, but didn't comment on it. 'I must not be the first then. I wonder who that'd be?'

Aunt May glanced at his wrists, where his web shooters were just barely peeking out. "If you were just bitten, how do you have the shooters?"

Jayce nearly tripped up at this one, but once again he rolled with it, lying without hesitation. "My Peter's been Spiderman for a minute now. Before I got sucked up, I nabbed them off of his desk."

She seemed to accept that, moving on to take him out back. "Don't be too surprised." She said, unlocking the shed to reveal an elevator.

Pressing the button, the floor detached from the rest of the room as the both of them were slowly floated down amongst a Lot of gadgets.

Spider bikes, spider cars, spider unicycles, you name it and you'd see it. Soon enough they reached the floor, where a massive computer was waiting for them, along with a row of suits on display. Jayce assumed there was also a suit crafter hooked up to the computer.

"Here we are, The Hub, as he called it." She told him, letting some sadness leak out.

"I'm sorry for your loss Ma'am."

She smiled at him. "I'll be okay. The thought that there are other Peters out there saving people is enough for me."

"Anyway, if you want any chance at getting home, you'll need to gear up. I'll make you a few sandwiches in the meantime. Have at it." She gave him a wink, somehow knowing that he was about to go a bit manic on the computer.

Jayce straightened up, giving her a mock salute before rushing over to the supercomputer, leaving her to giggle as she left. Hearing this, he smiled a bit. "I'm glad I could make her feel a bit better. Makes me feel all gooey inside."

Focusing back on the computer, Jayce ignored the feeling that someone was watching him before he looked around on the desktop. Luckily, he found an app called Suitmaker_3000.

Smirking, he opened it before selecting to make a brand new design. Suddenly, a bunch of little drones appeared and started scanning his body.

Those scans resulted in a 3d model of his body appearing, causing Jayce to smirk. "I'm gonna have fun with this one."

(A Few Hours Later)

"It's finally done! Haha!" Jayce was nearly jumping with excitement, mostly at the thought of actually being Spider-Man. After several glitches, Jayce finally felt like his body had stabilized to actually do something, so he ran over to the printer to grab his new suit.

Tapping a few buttons, a white box popped out, which was quickly torn apart to reveal his new suit in its full glory. Jayce's suit was made based off of the Insomniac Spider-Man's advanced suit as well as some personalized changes, coming complete with compact but good looking bits of armor protecting his vital areas.

The main color of the suit was matte black, designed and most suited for stealth, as it was one of a Spider's best and most important qualities. The black replaced the areas where the red would usually occupy, while the blue stayed the same, only becoming a darker shade and slightly metallic. The white armor became a very dark red, enough so it would make the blue pop when in the light but still allow for stealth.

Looking around, Jayce noticed that this world's Peter had set up a little changing area for when he had guests and needed to change. Why was he looking for that? Because Spider-Man Noir was hanging out on the ceiling above him, thinking that he hadn't noticed him.

Truthfully, as his spider sense developed, Jayce became more and more aware that someone was watching him. Eventually, he was able to pinpoint where it was coming from and saw the figure of Noir sulking in a corner, contemplating about something.

'Probably about whether or not I'm a Peter, when I don't look like him.' Jayce assumed, walking into the bathroom.

Standing in front of the mirror, Jayce looked at his new face for the very first time, just as a glitch crashed down on him.

Falling to the floor, Jayce did his best to ride his way through the pain, gritting his teeth as he heard Noir crash to the ground outside. Luckily, it ended right after that, allowing Jay to breathe easier.

Pushing himself up off the ground, Jayce refocused his attention on the mirror as he wiped the sweat from his brow. What he saw was a young caucasian man with a slight tan. He had sharp eyebrows, glowing royal blue eyes, a strong nose and jawline, and a lean body. Not too small, not too muscular.

"I'm suddenly liking my new life even more?" Jayce smirked, before getting into the suit, putting it on underneath his civilian clothes, putting his gloves and mask in his pockets. Luckily, the boots built into the suit fit in enough to just wear those. Not like the ones he had were that good anyway.

Coming out of the bathroom, Jayce noticed that Noir wasn't hiding anymore and Aunt May had brought those sandwiches she talked about earlier. "Oooo! I could hug you right now Auntie!" Jayce nabbed a few before Noir could finish them off- He was really scarfing the things down with a passion.

"Sorry, I've only eaten rations for the past few months." He smiled from where he had lifted his mask to eat, and Jayce noticed that his skin was black and white too. 'That's both cool and unnerving at the same time.'

"Oh, and sorry for hiding from you. I just don't really know what's going on." Jayce nodded in appreciation.

"Don't worry, I'm sure that someone will show up soon enough to explain what's going on. After all we have two spider people from other dimensions here, the chances are that more will show up."

Noir nodded, and it was just then that the front door rang, the camera lighting up on the computer showing three very strange figures. One was a bipedal pig wearing a spiderman suit, and the other was a young girl with a spider mech standing next to her.

Aunt May smiled wryly. "I think we have visitors."
