As James pondered his situation, he couldn't help but acknowledge that facing any of the trainees from the Zodiac Knights would be a formidable challenge in his current state. The young warriors were extraordinary, showcasing skills that far surpassed those of ordinary individuals.

In comparison, James felt like an inexperienced child, lacking the vitality and finesse they displayed so effortlessly.

Their sparring session was intense, spilling over onto the training ground and inadvertently causing damage to nearby public facilities. Eventually, the other trainees wisely decided to vacate the area, sensing the escalating energy of the combatants.

When the two fighters approached him, James instinctively prepared to evade using his martial arts training. Yet, to his dismay, his body betrayed him, executing an entirely different tactic.

His movements became a blur—swift and intricate, a whirlwind of speed and cunning angles that allowed him to fend off both opponents effectively. The black-haired boy, panting heavily after a prolonged bout, finally acknowledged, "We've been at this for so long, yet we still can't match your skill…"

Just as the boy was about to reveal his name, James abruptly woke up.

It felt like being yanked from a vivid dream just moments before the climax—a frustrating experience akin to an alarm shattering a perfectly set scene.

Gazing at the darkened sky, James cursed under his breath, "Damn it!"

The protagonist from his dream undoubtedly possessed capabilities that surpassed his own. His current strength only qualified him as a candidate for the Zodiac Knights, leaving him trailing far behind the others.

As he contemplated the identity of the dream's possessor, James found himself puzzled. The training ground suggested he hadn't fled from Sanctuary, yet among the original series' bronze Knights, only Seiya trained there. The black-haired boy resembled Seiya, while the blond boy exuded a Confucian aura.

But could the blond boy be Glacier? Unlikely, as Glacier resided in Siberia, far from Sanctuary.

Cassios was the only other Sanctuary trainee, but the blond boy's demeanor didn't align with Cassios's.

Setting aside these limitations, James speculated about the dreamer's identity, leaning towards the possibility that it was a male. Although he lacked a clear visual, he sensed a subtle, masculine presence within the dream.

Discounting Ophiuchus, James turned his thoughts to the Silver Zodiac Knight.

Lost in contemplation, he resolved to refocus on his cosmic energy practice. He could feel the influence of the Zodiac box waning, signaling that he was nearing the physical readiness necessary to withstand its power.

As James delved deeper into his practice, a faint constellation shimmered in the southern sky, its beauty momentarily distracting him from his thoughts.

Meanwhile, the New York Police Department had swiftly resolved the recent taxi kidnapping case, with the perpetrator shot dead while resisting arrest. The media remained unaware of Gwen's involvement, preserving her anonymity. Eager to return to a sense of normalcy, Gwen resumed her school routine, determined to keep up with her academic progress.

During a quiet moment of self-study, James sought solace in the library, only to be interrupted by Gwen's approach.

"Anything on your mind? If this is about last night, you don't need to thank me. I merely provided leads, not assistance," James explained cryptically, his thoughts drifting back to the complexities of romance intertwined with superhero secrecy.

Gwen raised an eyebrow, a hint of a smile playing on her lips. "You know, you're a terrible liar, James. But I appreciate it, really. Just… don't hesitate to reach out if you need help next time."

Their eyes met, and for a fleeting moment, the weight of their shared experiences hung in the air, a silent understanding passing between them.
