"AAAAAHHHHH!!!"
"AAAAAHHHHH!!!"
"AAAAAHHHHH!!!"
A cacophony of screams filled the screen.
Even just reading the text was enough to feel the sheer terror gripping them.
Tony Stark: "Rhodes, I get that some of these guys are just kids, but why the hell are you screaming?"
Rhodes: "Stark! This isn't some horror movie! This is real! A real ghost murdering people! This is beyond terrifying!"
Strange: "I understand. This is unlike anything we've ever seen before."
Thanos: "Hmph. Weaklings. What is there to fear?"
Radamanthys: "Indeed. How pathetic."
Loki: "Thor, you disgrace Asgard with your cowardice."
Thor: "Shut up! This thing is truly terrifying!"
Tsunade: "So this is what a ghost is... The way it kills is beyond unnatural. Every movement is inhuman."
Daigo: "No horror movie could compare to this. It's too real."
Ancient One: "And this ghost isn't just a mindless spirit. It possesses the ability to manipulate time itself, sending two people to their deaths in past timelines, and even distorting space to create an infinite labyrinth. It has dominion over both time and space!"
Even the Ancient One was shaken.
Controlling space? She could do that with certain spells.
But time? That required the Time Stone.
And yet, this vengeful spirit could do both effortlessly.
It was astonishing.
Juran: "This is by far the most terrifying ghost I've ever encountered."
Asmita: "A spirit capable of manipulating both time and space... This is beyond comprehension."
King: "Calm down. Based on my research, spirits like this can usually only exert their power within their domain. The moment they step outside, their abilities weaken significantly."
Diana: "Even if that's true, this is still horrifying! I hate dealing with these kinds of enemies."
Goku: "Holy crap… I never knew ghosts could be this powerful!"
As they continued discussing, the scene on the screen changed.
The camera cut to the outside of the mansion—where the support team was stationed.
A black SUV approached, and several agents in tactical gear stepped out.
"This is Agent C-A23. We've arrived at the designated location. Investigating the cause of radio silence."
After confirming their status via radio, the agents readied their weapons and cautiously approached several unmarked trucks parked nearby.
Upon opening one of the truck doors—
They found something horrifying.
Inside the truck were high-tech monitoring equipment, workstations, and—
Corpses.
"This is C-A23! We've found the logistics team! They're all dead!"
C-A23 immediately reported the grim discovery and stepped inside to investigate.
Each corpse bore an expression of absolute terror.
Their eyes were so wide that they looked as if they might pop out of their sockets.
C-A23 was baffled.
What could have terrified them so much before they died?
"Wait… This place should have surveillance cameras! We can check the recordings!"
Realizing this, C-A23 quickly accessed one of the computers and pulled up the security footage.
Rewinding to when the logistics team had first arrived, the footage showed them alive and well, monitoring the mansion from their screens.
The special forces inside had body cams, relaying real-time footage back to them.
Then—
The researchers suddenly stood up in shock, staring intently at their monitors.
"Oh no! They're in danger! According to our readings, the ghost's reality-warping abilities exceed Level 2! Their protective gear won't work! We have to get them out now!"
One of the researchers frantically grabbed the radio, trying to warn the team inside the mansion.
But before they could—
Static.
The computer monitors turned into a blizzard of white noise.
The radio emitted an eerie, garbled screech.
No matter how desperately they called, their warnings couldn't reach the team inside.
"The doors won't open!"
One of the logistics members panicked, trying to force open the truck doors.
They were locked inside.
Then—
Long, black strands of hair began creeping out of the computer screen.
A head slowly emerged.
C-A23's eyes widened.
Then—
The camera feed suddenly cut to a young boy's face, pressed against the lens.
His mouth gaped open in an unnatural scream—
A void of endless darkness within, no human organs in sight.
"AAAAAHHHH!!!"
C-A23 stumbled backward in terror, falling hard onto the ground.
He gasped in pain, barely processing what he had just seen.
Shaking, he turned his gaze back to the monitor.
The boy's face was gone.
Instead—
The screen now displayed the logistics team—dead.
Their corpses were in the exact positions as the ones currently in the truck.
Standing in the middle of the carnage—
Was her.
The vengeful spirit.
"This is Delta Squad, Third Unit! We suspect casualties! Do we proceed with the mission?"
A voice crackled through the radio.
The spirit slowly turned toward the radio.
Then—
She picked it up.
Her lips moved, and from the radio came—
The exact voice of the researcher who had died.
"This is the outside support team. Proceed with the mission."
The tone was eerily cold and mechanical.
Completely devoid of emotion.
After answering, the spirit set the radio down.
Then, ever so slowly, she lifted her head—
And looked directly into the surveillance camera.
Static.
The computer screen turned white.
C-A23 recoiled in fear.
And then—
He felt something behind him.
The sensation was unmistakable—
He had bumped into someone.
A human body.
Dread consuming him, he spun around, gun raised.
What he saw—
Left him breathless.
The dead researchers…
Were standing.
Not just them—
The entire logistics team had risen.
But they weren't alive.
They moved unnaturally, like puppets on invisible strings.
Their heads tilted at odd angles, their joints bending unnaturally.
And in the corner—
The young boy sat, staring at C-A23 with empty, soulless eyes.
Then, in a soft, chilling voice, he whispered two words:
"Mama?"
