Feeling the mighty pressure emitting from the young man on the sky robes, Leon gritted his teeth in annoyance and vexation.

This kid he had met randomly was this powerful? What kind of had luck did he have?

"Hehe, don’t struggle, the backwards spells of the fallen eldoria can’t stand up to the magics of my sky temple" an evily smile slowly formed on the face of the young man as he walked towards Leon.

He didn’t understand how Leon obtained the authority to enter here without the knowledge of the duan royal family. But if he could find out...it would be wonderful.

A secret passage. If he handed the info to the sky temple he would be heavily rewarded.

"Struggle, I can do nothing, but struggle" Leon gently shook his head and said.

He wouldn’t give himself up after all the hard work he put into this. He sacrificed so much time and energy. There was no way!!!

Leon thought in his mind.

Throughout his stay in duan city....all the fights and schemes, Leon had not once gone all out.

By all out I mean, he had never used both his skills as a mage and a warlock at the same time....forgetting the fact that he could use negative energy.

If Leon went all out...it would be a shocking sight for all, so he decided against it.

In this situation though, he had to get away or else his life would be forfeit.

Leon activated the blood serpent Sacred warrior set given to him by Liana....but he didn’t stop there.

"Nova daze : drowsy dream"

Leon used a lighter version of the nova daze illusory spell. This one didn’t fully pull ones opponent into an illusion....it just made them see things

"Heavy fang" then he clamped both of his daggers together forming a heavy bulky dagger.

"Hehe, done with your power ups?" The young man from the sky temple shook his head mockingly. Leon’s movements were cringe as hell in his eyes.

He thought them to be a mere show....Leon couldn’t think for a second that he could actually defeat him righ?

Leon streched his hand forward and not even a second later, hundreds of arrows made from Life energy formulated before Leon.

One by one, Leon sent out arrows at the sky temple mage. Even if he was invincible, the mere inconvenience of these arrows would piss him off.

Creating an Avenue to do this.

—Boom!!!

Just as the arrows went flying forward, Leon flew forward too, with his blood serpent extensions spread out like a spider.

It was a sneak attack to kill this guy in the fastest was possible....however, the man was prepared.

With a swing of his hand, a short sword flung out from his sleeves and clashed with the incoming projectile that was the blood serpent extensions.

—Clang.

They clashed and the atmosphere was strange. Neither of them fell back even one bit.

Equally matched? Impossible!!!

He was a member of the sky temple. There was no way a rag from fallen eldoria could stand up to him. Not in this life!!! And yet, here he was faced against some of that exact calliper.

"Die" from behind the sky temple mage, another one of the blood serpent extensions was looming over him.

Immediately the threw Leon away and did a 360 Slash directly cutting off the head of one of the blood serpent extensions heads

"I’ll kill you" after managing to recover from that attack by a hairs breath, the young man from the sky temple branded his sword and prepared to go at Leon once again..

But when he took a step forward, he felt drizzy. What was going on? He thought to himself.

He had unknownly fallen pray to an illusion spell.

"A warlock that can do all this? I thought the royals said they were severely undermanned" the young man realized after a few seconds Leon had used an illusion spell on considerable power.

What they knew from what the royal family had told them was that, the warlocks had been subdued. Not chance to revive this prosperous society ever again.

But in front of him here was a talent better than most he had seen since getting here. Were the royals hiding something?

"Extend"

While guy was in a daze Leon used the opportunity to stand forward and cut at the guys shoulder blade

"Fuck!!!" The mage from the sky temple fell back.

"That’s enough!!!" Feeling the pain rolling through his shoulder, he finally pushed out all the level 3 mana in his body out.

He was beyond angry, a common nobody had injured him? He couldn’t let it slide.

But

He was a bit late to actually do anything, because as soon as he looked up, Leon seemingly disappeared from sight.

Yes, Leon ran. After all, that was the goal from the very start.

"Hmm!! You won’t get away" the mage from the sky temple completely forgot about the reason he was here. He wanted to catch Leon no matter what.

With all his strength he sprinted forward desperately trying to catch up to Leon.

However, unknown to him Leon actually never left.

"Sigh" with a sigh of relief Leon exited from a giant metal gate emitting an ominous aura.

"I need to be more careful huh...." Leon shook his head and said. If this was how the royal Palace was, he would need to take extra precautions before even trying to come back here again.

"I would like to exit" Leon pronounced to the automation of the Palace.

He had two attempts to come here, the first one was in truth just to scout the region. Now that he knew what to expect he would be able to plan appropriately.

Few hours after Leon left.

[Ding!!! Time is up, proceed to exit the Palace]

The system automation announced in the ear of the young man from the sky temple.

"Shit!!" Frustrated, the young man smacked his hand on his tigh. He made a big mistake chasing Leon down and forgot that the kind of authority he had in his possession had a time limit.

He didn’t even find the treasury, it was a massive failure.

[Please exit the Palace immediately or face consequences!!!]

The automation sounded again forcing the young to shudder. He had heard of what the automation would do to mischief makers. Even level 4 mages weren’t safe in here.

"Okay okay" the young man followed the gate and exited.

"Hm? You’re out? Why did you take so long?" Right outside the gate, a young lady who didn’t seem a day over 25 complained.

"Senior Clara....I f*cked up" immediately upon seeing the lady the young man from the sky temple said dejectedly.

"What happened," the young lady Clara asked. This guy was in truth a top talent of the sky temple, the sky temple was a massive organisation bigger than the powers of eldoria all put together. Being a top talent there was a big deal

Normally they would never admit to his mistakes.....him saying such was surprising. But what she was more interested in was the mistake.

"Well....its like this" the young man went on and explained everything. But every single on of his words caused a steeer in the hearts of those around.

Especially the members of the duan royal family.

"Bullshit, do you know how hard it is to obtain authority? Do you know how many men we sacrifice yearly to even have the chance of getting Any?" From the duan royal party side a very short man explained.

This guy had curly eyebrows, a bald head and an golden teeth.

He looked quite special. This was one of the great elders of the duan family second only to thw King.

"Listen kid, if any efforts were being made to scale through or obtain authority in thw royal Palace we would know.....even amongst the royals talk less of mere warlocks" the man was bitter about this line of excuses this kid brought up.

You went in and failed to bring out a treasure, okay? Suck it up. Why did he need to blame them for his short comings.

"Hmm, Great Elder Titch, I think you should investigate at least...its a matter of concern. And also never speak to my student like that ever again" the young lady who stood beside the young man from thw sky temple wasn’t having it.

She demanded an investigation. If something like this really happened? Then they had been robbed. After all, they paid resources for this authority.

"Hmmm, we will.....we have no choice. But I’m not happy about it" the great elder Titch said before looking to his side.

"Check all the entrances....check the vacinty....if you find anyone that remotely resembles this description. Kill them immediately" he said to one of his underlying.
