With his bulky Dagger Leon slashed and stabbed the minator all over his weak points. And it proved effective.

This weapon combines the power output of both of the twin fengs and melded them into one....amplifying it by several folds.

When creating this weapon Leon used a design of a weapon he has seen in his past life. It had the ability to morph and change depending on how it was calibrated.....of course this was a prototype at best and couldn’t do as much.

But what it could do...was enough to make the current Leon extremely powerful.

"Roar!!!!"

With a painful screech, the minator fell to the floor with one knee and arm supporting it.

Leon’s weapon cut through its ligaments like a knife through butter. It was very effective.

"An opening"

Seeing the opening Leon smirked and jumped into the air with the help of his serpent extensions propelling him.

With the momentum he stabbed through the neck of the minator then said.

"Extend"

All of a sudden, a rune on the bulky Dagger streched outwards cutting right through the neck of the minator from the back to the front.

With just that, he had killed it.

A surprising notification rang in Leon’s ear making him surprised. Palace authority? What was that? It was the first time of him hearing this concept.

Leon didn’t know this but this authority was a massive treasure that the duan royal family treated with utmost care.

They sent every member of their family to find the authorities of the Palace since time immemorial, all in the hopes of one thing.

They wanted to control the royal Palace in ita entirety.

Yes, the authority was a way to gain absolute control over the duan royal Palace....since their ancestor fell into sleep they had lost control over this treasure. And were currently struggling to even be accommodated

It was so embarrassing that they had no choice but to hide this fact from the world.

"Hehe, I guess it’s coming together sooner than later" Leon said to himself.

The plan was to enter the duan royal Palace, find the purple heart eternal flower and get as far away from eldoria as he possibly could.

"I should use one now" Leon said to himself....

The gate infront of him led to another challenge, but did he need another one? No!!. Leon had hit a bottleneck in his leveling up.

The concept of improving his beastly Aura had been thrown to the back of his head for a while now since he found the Palace....After entering the peak he noticed he couldn’t go any futher.

He needed to improve his aura to break through not absorbing life energy. To tharmt effect, he would gain much from fighting creatures.

"Let’s see," Leon scratched his chin I’m thought.

"I want to use one of my authority to enter the Palace" Leon said out loud in the hall.

It was quite for a while as his words echoed. But soon enough.....

[Granted, host may choose whatever treasure he needs in the treasury if he needs it. But sound warning.....the Palace is not a Palace for mischief]

The automation of the Palace resounded letting Leon know that he shouldn’t cause damage to the Palace

Then a door made from jade shifted from inside the wall of the hall to where Leon was standing.

"No wonder they said this place is alive" Leon thought to himself before proceeding to enter through the door.

At the same time, somewhere in the royal Palace, a young man in sky blue uniform and a hood leaped from the sky and landed on the tiled floors of the royal Palace.

"Hmm, so this is the place" the young man muttered. His eyes were fairly normal with a hit of overbearingness born from battle.

The kid didn’t look indigenous to any clan of family in duan city, not in his clothes, the way he talked, or his strength. As at this age....this kid was already a level 3 mage.

"Dusty....can’t they send in a cleaner at least?" The young man complained.

The outer layer of the Palace looked absolutely stunning. But inside of it was dusty as hell. It looked like no one had been in this place for a very long time.

"anyway let’s start with the treasury" he young man said before picking a direction to walk in.

They didn’t have many chances to come here, but the few they did they had to make good use of it.

"Arrg, so many cobwebs"

At the opposite part of the Palace, Leon complained seriously. The Palace was annoying. It looked more like a cave that a Palace in Leon’s eyes.

They were cobwebs everywhere, the ground was dusty and the occasional flooding from god knows where.

Honestly this wasn’t the gandur of a Palace...even the dungeon area was better.

"Now where is that treasury" after composing himself, Leon looked around his surroundings in an attempt to find the treasury.

Even though it seemed clique for the eternal heart flower to be in the treasury.....it was the only lead he had at the moment so he has to follow it.

Naturally, he would have to find it first...but In this place....it would definitely be hard.

But for some reason, Leon felt like he was going the right way, as if some sort of unknown presence was pushing him.

But he didn’t find the treasury just yet. Because before he could, he met with boobytraps.

"Clang"

Leon mistakenly set off a trap that saw a metal boulder rolling towards him.

"Damn!! What’s the use of this stupid authority if it would grant me safe passage?!!!" Leon screamed while running for his life.

The authority only allowed him to enter the Palace, it didn’t promise his safety in here, so yes, Leon was susceptible to all the traps set in the area.

Naturally Leon didn’t need to be told, so he just sucked it up and went with the flow.

But unlike him, the second person in the Palace was throwing a tantrum. He won the chance to enter here after a serious battle. Why now did he have to dodge traps just to get his reward?

"Hmm?" While he dusted of his clothes from the dodginh of traps, he noticed another ruckus not too far away from him.

"There’s someone else here?" The young man thought to himself.

That was when he noticed someone take a corner heading directly towards him, and right behind was a massive boulder.

"What the f*ck? Go away you asshole!!!" The young man in the sky blue robes shouted before taking off too.

This kid had appeared out of nowhere and put him in trouble, now he had to run back the way he came. It was annoying

After a long time of running

"Who are you kid? I thought the duan bastards said they only have one authority?" The young man looked at Leon and asked.

This guy had a faceless mask on, he was clearly trying to hide his identity. Apparently, the duan family was trying to pull a fast one on them.

They had an agreement, since the treasure of eldoria was not easy to enter, the duan family would exchange resources with them for slots every few years

Normally it was two per year. But this year they came up with an excuse and gave them one.

It nearly caused a fight, but could they force them to hand over something they didn’t have?

"Ummm, I can’t say. But thank you for helping though, I’ll be on my way" Leon looking at the young man and said in a dodgy manner.

He didn’t know that someone else would be here and he didn’t want to interact with this person. Not for any reason but caution.

The guy did look to be from the royal family, but he couldn’t ascertain where he was from.

It ws best to keep some distance.

"Hmm? You think you have a choice?" The young man streched forward and applied pressure on Leon’s arm forcing him to step back.

Leon couldn’t help but be stunned. The strength in that grip....was this guy a warlock?

"Hmmm, so you’re a warlock?" The young man said suddenly.

It took one touch and he was able to ascertain that Leon was q warlock. What kind of magic was this?

"Hehe, I’m not surprised that you’re shocked. The ways in eldoria have fallen short after Alll." The young man laughed at Leon’s shock.

He had used a mysterious method just now that only people from their organisation knew.

"So what?" Leon asked.

He could tell that this person was not from here, so what would he want with Leon’s race?

"Hehe, we don’t have any beef with warlocks....but we don’t like you lot either so I must capture you" the young man’s eyes turned from a none caring one to one filled with malice.

His intentions were clearly not good
