Chapter 820 Gross
While his Luck was increasing, and that was supposed to be good, it was being useless because he had been flying nonstop for seven days and he didn't find anything.
"I can't even tell the distance that I crossed…" Rain thought. "Still, I should have crossed half of the planet by now. There is no way that Earth has become the size of Saturn or something."
Rain embarked on a long journey across the ocean, and his focus pushed him forward despite the lack of significant discoveries during the first seven days. Amidst the vast expanse of the sea, he encountered no islands nor any signs of monsters or creatures that might have posed a threat.
Occasionally, he caught glimpses of whales and sharks swimming in the depths, yet the absence of birds in the skies was something else.
While Rain's resolve remained strong, the monotonous days of endless blue water were beginning to wear on him. The absence of any distinct landmarks made it difficult to gauge his progress or determine if he was heading in the right direction.
While Rain was thinking about that, he suddenly felt the air changing… It didn't take long for Rain to sense mana in the air. Rain immediately stopped flying and looked around, but he didn't see anything.
Rain decided to head to the ocean and change his domain to reflect the surroundings as he moved forward… Rain's heart began to race when he suddenly saw some creatures in the distance… emitting some sounds through the waters of the ocean. They were the siren dragons.
The Siren dragons had quite the appearance and presence. These creatures practically embodied the allure of the ocean depths, boasting sleek and supple bodies covered with iridescent scale. Their frames, adorned with oceanic colors ranging from deep blues to iridescent greens and pearlescent whites, grant them an air of both elegance and power.
With sinuous tails that taper into flowing fins, these dragons glide effortlessly through the water.
Their elongated heads had elegantly curving horns, adding to their appearance, while their eyes, reflective pools of sapphire blues or emerald greens, possess an almost hypnotic allure. Some sport intricate adornments like tendrils or graceful fins that frame their faces enhancing their already enchanting visage.
With wings resembling swirling waves, embodying the harmonious blend of draconic strength and aquatic charm.
"I can finally see them, but they can't sense me at all…" Rain thought and then moved around and soon was able to see some aura thanks to Magic Eyes. "Those silhouettes must be of the mirror dragons."
Rain could see some auras, but he couldn't see their bodies… considering their size and shape, they were definitely mirror dragons. The mirror dragons possessed a peculiar and unique form that distinguished them from other dragons. Their bodies appeared almost ethereal, taking on a gelatinous, slime-like appearance.
This unusual appearance was a result of their extraordinary ability to mimic and replicate the powers and abilities of other water dragons. Their forms were in a constant state of flux, adapting and changing as they absorbed and replicated the traits of various dragons they encountered.
Their semi-translucent bodies allowed glimpses of shifting colors and shapes swirling within, reflecting the abilities they had absorbed. they would be really troublesome if they could keep more than one of those skills at a time...
Regardless, it was this ability to imitate the skills and powers of other dragons that gave them their amorphous form, making them highly unpredictable and formidable adversaries.
"If a bunch of dragons are here… the demi-humans territory should be ahead," Rain rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "It is better if I don't fight them…"
Rain was surprised to think that the demi-humans were still fighting and holding their ground in that situation. While it was a bit troublesome to find them before finding his family, that could be a stop to make Rain find them faster.
"Come to think of it, I left this place the last time after making a few enemies… kind of," Rain thought. "I need to find Isa without alerting anyone."
Rain had some new pieces of information that he could use to trade with Isa, so the chances of him leaving the island with a method to find his family were pretty high.
Still, when Rain began to move around the area in search of a hole in the encirclement of the dragons, he didn't find anything. Rain found all types of water dragons there, though. Even the tempest dragons…
The tempest dragons were quite the gruesome sight, and their appearance invoked a sense of unease. With the semblance of two-headed serpentine creatures, these dragons boasted an imposing and fearsome visage. Each end of their bodies bore a distinct, menacing head, both possessing razor-sharp fangs and glowing, piercing eyes that shimmered like turbulent storm clouds.
Their scales shimmered in hues of dark, foreboding colors, resembling the churning skies before a tempest.
As Rain looked at these creatures, a shiver ran down his spine. The eerie symmetry of their dual heads, both exuding an aura of power and menace, created an unsettling impression. The sight of these two-headed dragons, each end capable of unleashing devastating power, left an indelible mark on Rain's memory, a reminder of the formidable adversaries he might face in his journey across the ocean…
"Gross…" Rain thought.
Rain didn't want to fight them anyway, so that appearance only made them think that more. Still, he will have a hard time advancing unless he waited until night and flew over the clouds. That was probably the best option considering that he couldn't sense much mana in the air and that could only mean that flying dragons weren't there.
The barrier created by the demi-humans would have faced significant trouble when confronted with the relentless assaults of the storm dragons. Storm dragons, known for their formidable power and relentless nature, could pose a substantial threat even to well-constructed defenses.

The durability of the barrier would be contingent upon the mana reserves and the collective magical prowess of the demi-humans, after all.
