"That is right… this isn't the end, this is just the start," Rain thought.

Rain understood that in life, it wasn't merely the moments of success or glory that defined a person. Rather, it was the manner in which one navigated through the falls and setbacks, the resilience exhibited in getting back up after stumbling. He knew that his character wasn't shaped solely by achievements but by how swiftly and resolutely he rose after facing adversity.

Through the trials he encountered, Rain learned that setbacks were inevitable. What truly mattered was his ability to bounce back, to stand tall despite the challenges, and to keep moving forward. It was in those moments of hardship, when he faced his shortcomings that he discovered his true strength.

In any case, Rain began to fly south wondering if he would find the demi-humans territory in the next year… at the same time, he wanted to confirm the dragons were still busy with them in order to keep his distance.

"An alliance with the demi-humans is impossible now since they didn't do anything in the last war and just waited, but I can still have a good relationship with Isa," Rain thought. "Hopefully, she will know a spell or two that will help me find my family."

Rain knew that Seadrei's ambitions centered around establishing dominance over the oceans once more, a realm he considered his rightful domain and to the sea folk as well. To achieve this, he realized he would have to confront and challenge numerous water-based dragon variants, a daunting task that required the support and collaboration of Seara and Sealyn.

Knowing the sheer magnitude of the challenge ahead, Seadrei would need as much help as possible. Still, with their combined strength and expertise in aquatic environments, it wasn't out of the question.

"I feel depressed just thinking that Sealyn probably doesn't remember me even a bit… she was only one-half years old when I disappeared, after all," Rain thought and then sighed.

Rain's initial approach was to avoid potential problems, but considering the uncertainty surrounding the search for his family and Isa, he made his decision. Understanding that time was of the essence and realizing the uncertainties ahead, he decided to take calculated risks.

With a newfound determination and a sense of urgency, Rain summoned all his strength and courage to fly to the southern side as fast as he could, pushing himself to the limit.

While he was doing that, Rain felt more motivated to complete the Diligence path… he wanted to think of new skills that would come in handy for that path, but the first idea that he had was a weird one… and it wasn't related to that path at all. Rain thought that if he could mix his mana with sound magic to buff the parameters of others, perhaps he could do something while telling jokes.

"Let's see… infuse my throat with mana and mix the air that will leave with it," Rain thought and then took a deep breath. "Do you know how to solve all conflicts? Invade and crush your enemies and then demand everything they have. When they give everything they have, they demand everything that they don't have. When they can't meet this reasonable request, extinguish them.

That is how you peacefully resolve all conflicts."

"Jokester path," Rain said.

"Well, at least the name of the skill makes sense…" Rain thought. "I should be able to make the skill level up faster the more I tell jokes to more people… in any case, isn't the bonus too high? This path can't be better than the Diligence path… but considering all the points that I can get, I guess it isn't."

"I keep recalling funny things and the system recognized them as skills for the Jokester Path," Rain furrowed his eyebrows. "This is a massive waste of time… I don't have time to tell jokes in the middle of a fight against dragons."

For now, Rain couldn't imagine any other type of creature being a real issue against him, after all. Regardless, Rain decided to focus on thinking about the skills of the diligence path…
