I Have a Girlfriend in Marvel

Chapter 93: The Righteous Bright Warrior: Savior and Nemesis of Evil

As for the Destroyer, Su Ye wasn't exactly sure how strong its armor was. He never fought it head-on—just threw a reactor bomb to finish the job.

If he were to face it in direct combat, Su Ye felt that dismantling the Destroyer barehanded was nearly impossible given his current abilities.

Similarly, defeating Abomination with brute force alone didn't seem like an easy task.

Just as Su Ye expected, the rubble from the building Abomination crashed into began to shift, and moments later, a concrete slab over a meter long shot out like a cannonball, heading straight for him.

Right behind it, Abomination's massive green form emerged, seemingly unscathed and even more ferocious, charging at Su Ye like a runaway train.

With his Spider-Sense aiding him, dodging both the flying concrete and Abomination's charge was no challenge for Su Ye.

Yet, he simply let out a faint snort, sidestepped the flying concrete, and then stepped directly into Abomination's path.

"Roar!"

Abomination roared and raised his arms, aiming to ram Su Ye with his shoulder, determined to make him taste the impact of being sent flying.

But just as they were about to collide, Su Ye sidestepped half a step, placing a hand on Abomination's shoulder, pivoting, and shouting loudly:

"Off you go!"

Everyone watched as Abomination was flung into the air, flying even faster than during his charge, before crashing into a building dozens of meters away.

With a thunderous crash, half of the wall collapsed.

Amid the rubble, Abomination shook his head and raised it, staring at Su Ye in confusion. The speed had been so fast, he hadn't fully grasped what had just happened.

How did I end up flying?

Abomination's eyes were bloodshot. Unlike Bruce Banner, who could switch between his human and Hulk forms, Abomination's consciousness was singular, fused entirely with Emil Blonsky's original mind.

His body was permanently fixed in this monstrous form, and he retained all of Emil Blonsky's original personality traits.

This included his pride as a top soldier.

"Roar!"

Abomination let out a furious roar and charged at Su Ye again, vowing not to fall in the same way twice.

"Off you go!"

Boom!

Another building wall was smashed to pieces, leaving the survivors inside trembling in fear. Meanwhile, the onlookers outside were watching with rapt attention, their eyes already viewing Su Ye as a world-saving hero.

"Roar!"

"Off you go!"

Boom!

"Roar!"

"Off you go!"

...

As the buildings on both sides of the street continued to crumble, someone finally interpreted the deeper meaning behind Su Ye's mask.

"The red mask—is this an homage to a matador's red cape?"

At this suggestion, the surrounding crowd immediately nodded in agreement.

Abomination was incredibly strong, much like a raging bull in an arena—brutal, ferocious, powerful, and terrifying.

Though Su Ye stood his ground, he couldn't match Abomination's raw strength, who could toss cars like pebbles. No, he didn't even want to compete in brute strength. Instead, he became a matador, using courage and cunning to toy with the beast.

This was a different kind of thrill, contrasting sharply with battles that relied purely on brute force.

The audience was enthralled, and some even started brainstorming heroic names for Su Ye.

Matador? No, there's no bull here.

Just "Warrior"? Too plain. It needed a more impactful prefix.

Heroes are sacred, radiant, and noble. They save people in times of crisis, vanquish evil, and spread light.

So, let's call him the Righteous Bright Warrior: Savior and Nemesis of Evil!

That's perfect—bold and resounding, embodying the essence of a true hero!

On the street, Abomination had already charged at the Righteous Bright Warrior—uh, Su Ye—over a dozen times, each attempt as ferocious as a runaway dump truck, sending shivers down everyone's spine.

Yet every time, he ended up being flung away.

After more than a dozen attempts, even the spectators were starting to get bored, let alone Abomination himself.

With that massive body, is charging all you can do? Look at the buildings on both sides of the street—they're nearly demolished. Are you here to fight a hero or to lead a demolition crew?

After being thrown countless times, Abomination seemed to finally realize that mindless charging wasn't working. This time, he emerged from the rubble and grabbed a nearby car.

Then, with his face slightly swollen from the repeated blows, Abomination smirked smugly.

"Let's see how you handle this!"

Whoosh!

A car weighing over a ton was hurled like a basketball, flying straight at Su Ye. Before the first even landed, Abomination had already picked up another.

The car, much heavier than Abomination himself, followed a parabolic trajectory, making it harder to counter with redirection. More importantly, each car was like a ticking bomb. Once one exploded, a chain reaction of explosions would follow.

Whoosh!

Whoosh!

Whoosh!

Abomination kept throwing cars at Su Ye like a basketball trainer during a practice drill.

Naturally, Su Ye wouldn't sit still. The cars' trajectories were fixed, but he was not. Although he could have continued using grapples to redirect the cars, there was no need.

Why not take it easy and just dodge? Plus, it could provide the spectators with a more thrilling show.

Su Ye increased his speed, dodging to the side. He smoothly evaded each of the cars hurled by Abomination, his movements graceful and effortlessly stylish.

However, this approach wasn't exactly friendly to the spectators watching from afar.

When Abomination shifted from charging a stationary target to throwing at a moving one, the collateral damage multiplied. Su Ye wasn't always on the ground; sometimes he leapt onto walls or streetlights, increasing the danger zone.

This effectively turned Abomination into a turret, launching cars like missiles, some of which flew several hundred meters.

And since America is a car-centric country, the streets were littered with vehicles. Abomination could throw for ten minutes straight and still not run out of ammo.

Within a radius of several hundred meters from their battle, the area quickly transformed into a warzone, with cars colliding and fuel tanks exploding, filling the streets with fire and smoke.

From the helicopter, General Ross watched the scene below, suddenly feeling as though he'd been transported back to the battlefields of Afghanistan.

"Maybe if I had brought in my forces with heavy weapons from the start, the result would have been no different from this," he muttered.
