Honkai Star Rail Starting With Judgement of Shamash

Chapter 102: Chapter 102 Waking up

"Strange, ahem, familiar ceiling..."

The bright fluorescent light, the smell of disinfectant, and the beeping of machines gave Orion a sense of familiarity.

"Are you awake? Don't get too comfy on my operating table. It's not meant for sleeping."

Mobius' voice came through. Even though it was a bit harsh, it sounded oddly comforting to Orion.

"Okay, okay, I just woke up and am already being kicked out I see how it is. Is this how you treat someone who worked closely with you?"

Orion just rolled over lazily in response.

Mobius looked at the man on the table who seemed to be relaxed on her table. Most people would be nervous just hearing Mobius's name from the First Research Institute, but Orion seemed to care little about what she felt. His strong recovery was impressive, but his reaction showed how calm he was.

Orion who was lying around lazily saw a sharp scalpel appear in front of his face, he knew it could hurt him although not by much.

"Little guinea pig, don't think talking to me a few times and being my guinea pig makes us friends. Be careful with who you trust."

"Do you know how many people out there want to study and dissect you? Even a drop of your blood could sell for a huge amount of money."

Mobius's eyes were cold and sharp, like a snake watching its prey. The scalpel in her hand moved around threatening to cut Orion up.

Orion on the other hand was not fazed by her words.

"Really little old me is worth that much? How about you take some of my blood and sell it? We can discuss the split"

"...…"

Orion's suggestion left Mobius speechless. She lost interest in scaring him and walked away.

Orion smiled and sat up. Mobius might be tough on the outside, but she was kind underneath. The battle with the Herrscher of the Void had shown everyone the power of the Herrschers.

The team leader who was sent with Orion before would give all the information he observed from their fight. Compared to what Orion had shown, his ability to control space was more aligned with the mysterious "Honkai" feeling.

That battle between Herrschers was intense and Orion was walking on a tightrope due to his limited power and any mistake during the fight could have left him with major damage.

"Okay, get out of here with in the hour. Don't make me force you to leave!"

Mobius waved her hand, looking tired.

Orion sat on the edge of the table and noticed Mobius had probably been waiting for him to wake up for a long time. It was okay to joke around, but he knew when to stop.

He stretched, and his body felt refreshed and recovered. As he was leaving, Mobius's faint voice came from behind.

"Tell that guy..."

Orion paused, wondering who Mobius meant.

"There is no next time!"

Orion left, confused, leaving Mobius alone in the lab.

Mobius stared blankly at the ceiling. Her assistant, Blanca, should have been here, but she was busy with personal matters. Mobius heard there was a new assistant, but she was unsure if they would meet her standards.

"If they don't meet my standards, I'll send them away..."

Mobius lay down on the operating table where Orion had just left, exhausted. She had not slept for three days although it did not beat her record of staying awake for five days she was still tired.

A piece of paper fell to the ground. It had the clear words:

"[Regarding the punishment for the incident of Mobius secretly detaining the First Herrscher]..."

"zzzz...…"

Outside the lab, Orion walked down the MOTH base corridor, and everyone looked at him with admiration.

Whether it was his bravery in fighting the Herrscher or his role in defeating the emperor-level Honkai Beast, he was admired by everyone. In the eyes of the MOTH soldiers, Orion was a hero.

"Hello, Chief Orion!"

"Hello, sir!"

Orion greeted everyone. The Herrscher of the Void was defeated, but there was one key person he had not met yet.

"According to the time..."

Orion left the base as the sun set. The base lights were bright, but the outdoor training ground was dim.

Soldiers were heading back to rest, but on the training ground, a figure stood out under the light.

"Hi~ Visitor, finally, are you ready to meet me?"

Her long pink hair flowed down, and though she wore the simple Flame Chaser uniform, it still added to her beauty.

In the light, a woman with icy blue eyes and pink crystal-like pupils greeted Orion.

Orion knew that meeting this person was inevitable in the fight against the Honkai.

The girl in front of him was the mysterious archer from outside the Babel Tower and someone he was familiar with. Her name is:"Elysia."
