Honkai Star Rail Starting With Judgement of Shamash

Chapter 103: Chapter 103 Reminisce

On a night when a fire burned in the distance, two special people were talking under a streetlamp.

"Should I call you Chief Orion?" She asked.

Orion waved his hand, "The Fire Chasing Moth probably has plans to deal with me, who makes them feel powerless and trapped."

"And what about you? What do you think about that?" Elysia asked. They were sitting around a in the training area, and Elysia's eyes were bright as she waited for his answer.

"Me?..." Orion stayed quiet. He knew how the Fire Chasing Moth saw him.

As a Herrscher—someone meant to fight humanity—Orion Astra didn't quite understand why he had this role. But he felt like the situation wasn't hopeless.

The person sitting with him was living proof.

In the Fire Chasing Moth's records, Orion was called the "First Herrscher." But there had been someone before him.

The "Vostok 51 Incident."

Before the Fire Chasing Moth became what it was, the organization during a mission to the moon, they found something strange.

They found something called the [Final Divine Remains], a massive, human-like statue on the moon that was far beyond any current technology.

An accident caused part of these [Final Divine Remains] to fall to Earth, bringing the first trace of [Honkai Energy], or [Origin], to the planet. It landed in a place called Vostok 51.

Eight years later, the [Previous·Chasing Fire] tracked the debris to Earth and tried to study the effect it had on the kids in the town but failed.

The Fire Chasing Moth told Orion about this, hoping to uncover the truth about his possible connection to the event.

But Orion knew the real person who was first affected by the energy that day was the girl sitting in front of him.

If Orion was the First Herrscher, then she should be called the Herrscher of [Origin].

"One day, She fell from the sky. People looked up and saw the stars and the moon send the daughter of God, who would stay with mankind..."

Unlike Orion in his Herrscher form, Elysia as a natural Herrscher had complete control over her action and had her own thoughts.

"Elysia, why was I chosen to be the First Herrscher?" he asked.

Elysia shook her head, "It's not that you were chosen to be a Herrscher. It's more like you chose to be one."

"?"

Elysia began to explain.

"I don't know where you come from, Orion , but you're not from this world, right?"

Her eyes sparkled with a pink light as she spoke.

"Right."

Orion sighed, admitting it calmly.

Their conversation was private, shielded by Orion's mental power so no one else could hear them.

"I feel an energy from you, like a crystal from another universe..."

Her words shocked Orion.

"Crystal? That matches what people say about the path of remembrance ..."

Her words were like a light in the dark, sparking some thoughts in Orion's mind.

He remembered some rumors he had heard from Welt about the Aeons.

"Legend says Remembrance Aeon Fuli is the most mysterious among all the forces."

"If Remembrance Aeon Fuli appears, something unforgettable will happen. In other words, it shows up to make sure that moment is remembered forever..."

Orion thought back to his first appearance at the Herta Space Station.

"That's where Stelle was born. If Stelle is the [main character] of Honkai Star rail, there's no better place for him to appear..."

He recalled something similar happening on Jarilo-VI, where he had been.

"Back then, the planet was splitting apart, and Cocolia's path was changing."

"If I hadn't arrived and Cocolia had been influenced by the stellaron, what would have happened to Jarilo-VI's future?"

Orion was shocked. Everywhere he went seemed like it had been carefully chosen.

"Is my life being controlled by some unknown force?"

Thinking about this made him clench his fists. His mind was swirling with fragments of memories flashing before him.

"It's rude to lose focus when talking to a pretty girl~"

Just then, Elysia gently placed her hands over his clenched fists, and a soft pink light calmed him down.

"Sorry, Ellie..." Orion Astra frowned, rubbing his forehead. His main goal was to become stronger and uncover those who sought to control his life.

It felt like he had just scratched the surface of this mystery. No one could ignore it.

Elysia looked worried for a moment, then smiled as she had an idea.

"Orion."

"Yes?"

"Have you traveled anywhere lately?"

Elysia seemed excited and proud of her idea.

"Traveling..."

Orion thought of his journey through the stars as a form of travel.

"Traveling can be refreshing," Elysia said, looking thoughtful.

"I used to wander alone, just enjoying nature..."

"When you're lost, take a walk and explore the world. Maybe you'll find a reason to keep going."

"And..."

Elysia stood up, bouncing under the light with her hands behind her back. She looked at Orion Astra with bright eyes, showing no fear of what might come next.

"I promise, this world..."

"Is very beautiful."
