Chapter 220: Your not here too fight
The spirits and ghosts that had been summoned surged forward, their ethereal forms slamming into the Guardian's battered body with all their might. The overwhelming force sent the guardian hurtling against the stone walls of Helheim with a resounding crash. It struggled to maintain its composure, but the onslaught from the spirits only seemed to accelerate its inevitable collapse.
Hela, standing a little further back, watched with a cold smile as her help turned the tide of the battle. "Oh, don't mind me," she said, her voice echoing with amusement. "I just wanted to see what you would do if I helped you a bit. Two more times left, do."
Her words were cryptic, but the implication was clear: the battle wasn't over yet, and she had her own reasons for lending assistance. The time limit wasn't just a random comment—it hinted at something much larger at play. The ghosts and spirits had made the Guardian's defeat even more imminent, but Hela knew that there was a bigger game being played in Helheim. She was playing her part in it, too, whether the others realized it or not.
Akuta, her red eyes still glowing brightly, glanced at Hela with suspicion. "Two more times?" she repeated, her voice low. "What do you mean by that?"
Hela's smile remained unwavering, but her tone turned more serious. "The forces at play here are more than you understand. Helheim has its own rules. Ragnarok might be near, but there are still pieces to be moved. You've already made an impact by defeating my guardian, but there's more to come."
Binah slithered closer, her dark eyes narrowing. "You have a hidden agenda, don't you?"
Hela's gaze flicked toward Binah, then returned to Akuta. "Doesn't everyone? You'd be foolish to think you know the full picture just yet. But as I said—there are two more times left. Make them count."
With those final words, she turned toward the deeper depths of Helheim, her undead minions gathering around her like a cloak of shadows. "You'll need to keep up if you want to see what happens next."
Vlad, still recovering from the previous attack, stood tall and steady, adjusting his grip on his spear. "Whatever games you're playing, Hela, we'll finish what we came here to do. We're not here for your tricks."
Akuta nodded in agreement. "Just remember—helping us might be your undoing."
Hela chuckled softly, her laughter echoing in the eerie silence that followed. "We'll see, won't we?"
With that, the group steeled themselves, knowing that the challenges ahead would only grow more difficult. The mysteries of Helheim were far from over, and whatever Hela's cryptic warning meant, it was clear that this place had much more to reveal.
The group of 4 then looked the seal the guardian was guarding, it looked like that of a circle with of multiple ruins on it, inside the circle was design, it was made ruins they seemed to look like laborate, she was going to make her own report, but then her own comps flared up, with Holmes voice
Holmes voice came out the combined comps all the team had."We found the seal in Midgard".
Sion voice came up. "Wait already, my team hasn't even found our yeat".
Kadoc then spoke. "You have to be shitting me, we just had to deal with a puppet and you guys just easily found yours".
Ritsuka then spoke from his side. "Enough, just because one team found there first doesn't mean a anything, we still need to destroy them together at once, so unthle the reminding 8 teams find there we can't do anything".
The comps then ended, as Akuta spoke in as well. "We found the one in Helhein as well".
Sherlock, voice then came up again as he spoke in the combs. "The guardian should be nearby. Such powerful runes and chains must be defended by something formidable. It wouldn't make sense for such a complex seal to be left unprotected."
Sion's voice came through once again. "Then proceed carefully. There could be a trap."
Kadoc, his voice still laced with irritation, added, "We are in the middle of a fight, and you're telling us to proceed carefully now? After dealing with that puppet and everything else? Fine. But hurry up, would you?"
Ritsuka, ever the level-headed leader, intervened. "Calm down, Kadoc. We need to stick to the plan. Sherlock, if you've found the seal, then it's just a matter of time before the guardian reveals itself. Be ready for anything."
As then the single ended no, it felt like the was busy as well, Vlad then spoke. "Two out of 9 of seals were found".
"Now that is a problem for Asgard".
Akuta looked up she recognised the voice. "Show you self".
As then someone came from behind a dead tree, as it was Daybit. "It is true that you have defeated the Guardian, but he was the old one, I am the new one".
Akuta gotten into a fighting stand seeing her old teammate. "Daybit, shouldn't you be in your own Lostbelt".
Daybit close his eyes. "Yes, but I am temporarily staying in Asgard, Kirshtaria orders and everything".
Akuta looked at him as she spoke. "So what you are here too stop us"
Daybit opened his eyea and looked at her. "No".
Vlad stepped up as he spoke. "What do you mens No".
Daybit looked at as he spoke. "I would have stopped you if it was Ritsuka! I wmated too see if he and I are still the same just like we were in Chaldea, I heard he became a dragon god, so I wanted here, the underworld a perfect place for Necromancer like him, but he didn't came and sent you, so I have no interest in stopping, If anything I will be taking my leave! And going back to Asgard". As he pulled out a Crystal. "Non of you interested me".
Akuta's eyes narrowed as she processed Daybit's words. His tone was casual, almost indifferent, but there was something underlying his words that didn't sit right with her. Daybit, a former teammate, now distanced himself from the chaos in front of them, his focus on something entirely different.
"So, you don't care about this mission at all?" Akuta asked, her voice sharp, disbelief mixed with growing frustration.
Daybit gave a half-shrug, as if the fate of Helheim and the seals didn't concern him. "No. Not really. The only reason I'm even here is to see if Ritsuka has truly become the Dragon God they say he is. As for the rest of this mess..." He gestured around them with an almost bored expression. "It's just noise to me."
Vlad stepped forward, his spear still in hand, though his posture was more relaxed than before. "You're seriously saying all this, and you still expect us to let you just walk away? You're involved in this, whether you want to admit it or not. You've seen the chaos brewing. Ragnarok is coming. Asgard needs us, whether you're playing the lone wolf or not."
Daybit's eyes flicked briefly to Vlad, an almost sad smile crossing his face. "You all can fight your battles as you wish. I'll just watch from the sidelines." His voice softened, almost wistful. "Besides, I'm not the one holding the strings here. That's up to Kirshtaria and the gods."
Akuta clenched her fists, a mix of anger and confusion swirling inside her. Daybit wasn't the same person she remembered. This was someone who had clearly moved past his former allegiances, someone who cared more for the spectacle than the mission at hand. She could feel the weight of his indifference, like he didn't see the stakes at all.
Vlad looked at Akuta, then back at Daybit, an unspoken agreement between them. They wouldn't let him off easily, even if he wasn't directly opposing them. They needed to understand his motives—there was more to this than he was letting on.
Akuta spoke, her voice steady but firm. "You may have no interest in us, Daybit, but we are still a team. I don't care if you're 'watching from the sidelines.' If you think you can just walk away from this, you're wrong. You'll regret it."
Daybit's gaze flickered with something like curiosity, but his posture remained relaxed. "I don't think I will. This is bigger than you realize, Akuta. And if you're looking for answers, you might be barking up the wrong tree."
Before anyone could respond, Daybit turned away, his crystal glowing faintly as he prepared to leave. His words lingered in the air like a warning, but whether it was directed at them or someone else remained unclear.
As he began to vanish into the shadows of Helheim, Vlad muttered under his breath, "He might be more dangerous than he lets on."
Akuta didn't answer immediately. She was still trying to process everything Daybit had said. His detachment, his cryptic words—there was more to this situation than she was comfortable admitting.
"Let him go," she said after a long moment. "For now."
But deep inside, Akuta couldn't shake the feeling that Daybit's presence was just the beginning of a much larger problem. Something was coming, and it wasn't just Ragnarok—it was a conflict that was brewing far beyond their understanding.
As Daybit disappeared, the group's attention returned to the seal in Helheim, the symbol of an impending conflict that none of them could fully predict. They were running out of time, and the pieces of the puzzle were falling into place, even if they didn't fully understand the bigger picture yet.
Ritsuka's voice came through the comms again. "Focus up, everyone. The seals need to be destroyed, and we can't let anything distract us. Let's finish this."
Akuta glanced one last time at the spot where Daybit had vanished, then nodded. "Right. No more distractions."
With that, the group turned their attention back to the seal before them, ready to face whatever challenges Helheim would throw at them next. They were closer than ever to unlocking the mystery of Ragnarok—and whatever lay beyond it.
Carmilla them spoke. "We found the one in Helhein, Sharlock found the one in Midgard, 2 out of 9 have been found, we just have too wait for the other group to find there"
Meanwhile back in that of Vaneheim, Kadoc, Anastasia, Achilles, Atalante and Shadow Aozkai found cave
Kadoc looked around a bit as he spoke. "This is the place the string have been leading too".
As they went inside, the moment they did they found the Biforst seal in that of Vaneheim, they were happy then they hear something, as they saw someone walk up a tall, handsome, and muscular young man with slick blond hair and green eyes. He wore a long white coat with a bright blood-red collar, golden shoulder pads, black pants and shoes, white gloves, and a plain gray T-shirt. When using his powers or agitated, his eyes glowed lime green.
From just seeing him Kadoc could tell he is an egotistical and overconfident individual who held extreme disdain towards mankind, Kadoc could tell after how long he has spent with Anastasia, he had learned too pick up even in the smallest detail. He may need to pull out the knife that Ritsuka gave him
The guardian looked at them as he spoke. "I am Guardian of this seal". He then smriked as he spoke. "My name is Tarnak of the Iron Body, but you may call me the Monarch Of Iron Body, I likes the sound of that batter".
Achilles looked at as he spoke. "So he is the puppet masters".
Kadoc stopped back his eyes meet Tarnak eyes as he spoke. "And probably a god as well".
Tarnak, the self-proclaimed Monarch of Iron Body, stood tall and imposing in front of them, his smirk widening as he observed the group. His green eyes glinted with a mix of arrogance and curiosity, sizing up each of them as though they were mere pieces in a game he had already won.
"God? Maybe, maybe not," Tarnak replied, his voice dripping with disdain as he crossed his arms over his chest. "But certainly more than any of you. I've transcended the frailty of humanity, embraced the perfection of iron. What more could a god need, when I'm already beyond mortal limits?"
Kadoc narrowed his eyes, not buying the pompous front Tarnak was putting on. Despite his overconfidence, there was something unsettling about the way the Guardian spoke. He couldn't shake the feeling that this man—if he was even a man—was hiding something far darker beneath that arrogant exterior.
"So you guard the seal, huh?" Kadoc continued, his tone flat and unimpressed. "The only thing you seem to be guarding is your ego."
Tarnak chuckled darkly, clearly enjoying the antagonism. "Aren't you an amusing one? But you misunderstand. The seal is a mere trinket to me. What truly matters is the power that it holds—the power I can control."
Achilles stepped forward, his eyes locked on Tarnak with a fierce determination. "You sound like the kind of person who thinks they're invincible. I've met your type before. Too bad for you, I don't back down from a challenge."
Atalante, standing silently at the back, instinctively placed a hand on her bow, her sharp eyes never leaving the Guardian. She didn't trust Tarnak, not for a second. There was something about him that reeked of danger, but also something familiar—a coldness that sent chills down her spine.
Tarnak seemed unfazed by their words, a devilish grin on his face as he cracked his knuckles. "Invincible, you say? Perhaps. But I don't just rely on my body. I am the embodiment of strength itself, forged by iron and fire. If you think you can defeat me, you'll soon realize the folly of your arrogance."
Kadoc glanced at Anastasia, who nodded subtly. It was clear she was ready for whatever came next. He then looked back at Tarnak and spoke, his voice calm yet laced with authority.
"You claim to be invincible. But you're still a puppet—a tool for something bigger. If you're really as strong as you say, then prove it. Or are you too afraid to face us head-on?"
Tarnak's grin faded slightly, his eyes narrowing. The challenge had been thrown, and there was no turning back now. He slowly raised his hand, as if to test the air, before the temperature in the cave began to shift, the faint hum of energy crackling around him.
"I will show you," Tarnak said, his voice cold and menacing now. "The true power of iron. Let's see if you can survive it."
Before anyone could react, Tarnak slammed his fist into the ground, and the earth trembled violently. The sound of metal scraping against stone filled the air, and suddenly, the ground seemed to ripple with a dark, metallic energy. Massive iron spikes erupted from the floor, shooting toward the group at an alarming speed.
Achilles reacted first, his speed and agility kicking in as he leapt to the side, narrowly dodging the first barrage of spikes. Atalante wasn't far behind, her arrows flying with precision to deflect the incoming projectiles, causing some of them to crash into the cave walls.
Kadoc raised his hand, summoning a shield of magical energy to deflect the spikes coming his way. His eyes were still locked on Tarnak, calculating, analyzing. This man was strong, but Kadoc wasn't about to let him get the better of them.
"You're not the only one with tricks up your sleeve," Kadoc muttered, already preparing his next move.
The ground beneath them seemed to buckle as Tarnak's power surged. The metallic spikes retracted, and the walls of the cave began to close in, forming a ring of iron around them. Tarnak's laughter echoed through the cave, sending a shiver down their spines.
"You're not the first to challenge me," he sneered. "But you will be the last."
Anastasia stood back, eyes narrowed, watching the fight unfold with careful consideration. She could feel the immense energy radiating off Tarnak, but there was something about him—something off, like he was hiding his true power, holding back just a little too much.
As the group prepared to face this new, terrifying threat, the weight of their mission pressed down on them. Tarnak might have been an arrogant fool, but there was no doubt in their minds: this battle would be one of the hardest they had ever fought.
"Stay focused," Kadoc ordered, his voice unwavering. "This isn't just about defeating him. We need to get to that seal before he can do any more damage."
Tarnak's mocking smile returned, his eyes gleaming with malice as he prepared for the next assault. "You think you can beat me? Let's see if your resolve is as strong as your words."
