fate: Ragna's Journey

Chapter 4: Supervisor search

POV: Ragna

Ragna gently placed Sakura on the bed. Even in her sleep, Sakura clung to him, her small hands wrapped tightly around his cloak. Ragna smiled softly at her and thought to himself, "What a hassle it was to get this room! With my clothes, they probably think I'm insane. But when Sakura sleeps, she really is adorable."

Ragna thought that as a servant she could not stay long in this world. He needed to find suitable parents for Sakura. Tosaka Tokiomi is not a good choice. He may be a decent wizard, but he's not a good father. After this, Sakura probably doesn't want to return to Tosaka's family. Kariya... I might need to find Kariya quickly. Zouken's bugs are probably out of control."

Time passed, and the sun revealed its beautiful light as the moon hid away. Sakura stirred and woke up. She thought last night had been a dream; she had been rescued by someone resembling the heroes in stories. Sakura looked at Ragna, who noticed she was awake. Her stomach growled, and she covered her face with her hands in embarrassment.

Ragna smiled gently and said, "Looks like you're awake. You must be hungry."

He walked over to the table, there was a sumptuous breakfast on the table, he placed them on a tray and brought them to Sakura's bed. The enticing aroma tempted her and she started to eat.

With a smile, Ragna said, "My name is Ragna. I will find a suitable guardian for you."

Tears streamed down Sakura's cheeks as she replied, "But no one wants me."

Ragna patted his head gently and said, "You are wrong. Sakura, you are such a good girl. I'm sure someone wants you to put it on the table when the breakfast is over. The maid brings you lunch and dinner. Can I ask you not to go out for a while? "I have something to take care of."

Sakura blushed and replied, "I'll do whatever my brother says."

Her words made Ragna laugh. He opened his hand and created a bracelet from Silverin, but this was no ordinary bracelet. It contained 20 percent of Ragna's Silverin, crafted for the protection of Sakura.

Ragna stroked Sakura's head and said, "Sakura, take this bracelet. It will protect you in emergencies. I can't come tonight, but I promise I'll be back tomorrow."

Ragna opened the door and left. Sakura watched him go, and as she touched the bracelet, a smile unconsciously spread across her small lips.

Hours passed since Ragna's departure, and meanwhile, Kiri was praying, sensing the presence of the Assassin.

Without turning around, Kiri Kotomine said, "Assassin, have you become familiar with the city?"

Ragna smiled and replied, "Yes, Master. Is something wrong?"

Kiri Kotomine, in his usual tone, continued, "The last Servant, Caster, has been summoned, and the Mato family has been destroyed. My teacher is very upset. The body of his daughter has not been found, and there is a possibility that she is still alive. May I ask you for a favor?"

Ragna feigned sorrow at this news and replied, "Of course, Master."

Kiri Kotomine continued, "Please search for Sakura Mato. If she is alive, this request is from my teacher. He doesn't have high expectations. The Holy Grail War has begun."

Ragna placed his hand over his chest and declared, "I swear by my honor as a heroic spirit that I will do my utmost."

The Holy Grail War had begun and Ragna was very excited. His eyes glowed with blue light.
