"Wow..." Noir whispered, staring at the screen in disbelief as he was still processing all the rewards he had gained in one fell swoop. A part of him felt deeply validated for choosing the second option—otherwise, he would've missed out on the Dragon of Truth.
Unable to contain his excitement, Noir immediately decided to summon Reshiram. Just as before, a magic circle glowing with intricate Pokéball-like patterns materialized on the ground. In a blinding flash of light, a towering, majestic white dragon appeared. Standing over twenty feet tall, its pristine feathers shimmered in the sunlight, and its piercing blue eyes regarded Noir with a calm curiosity.
Suddenly, a soothing feminine voice echoed in Noir's mind. 'Greetings, little summoner. I assume you are the one who summoned me.'
Wide-eyed, Noir looked up at the dragon and blurted, "You can talk?! But Froakie... wait, where is Froakie!?"
'If you are referring to the child you summoned before me, do not worry, he has returned to the summoner's realm. At this moment, your life force is insufficient to maintain two summons simultaneously,' Reshiram explained. 'And yes, I can communicate in human language. I have lived through many ages and learned much in my time.'
Noir let out a relieved breath. "I see. Thank you for explaining. And... wow, it's truly an honor to meet you, Reshiram—the Dragon of Truth. I hope we can get along well," he said bowing deeply.
'Hello to you as well, little summoner,' Reshiram said calmly. 'Now, was there a particular reason you summoned me?'
"No, not really," Noir admitted with a sheepish grin. "I just wanted to meet and get acquainted with the newest member of my family."
'Family, you say?' Reshiram's gaze softened, a faint shimmer of approval crossing her features. 'You have a kind heart and quite a pleasant vocabulary little summoner. Very well, if there is nothing else, I will return to the summoner's realm. Do not hesitate to call upon my power if you ever need it.'
"Thank you," Noir said, his voice full of sincerity.
With a graceful nod, Reshiram vanished, leaving behind a faint trail of shimmering light. Noir stood still for a moment, processing everything. Then, curiosity sparked, and he quickly opened his menu screen to check Reshiram's stats.

******
"True Dragon Force?" Noir muttered, noticing the unfamiliar option on the screen. Intrigued, he pressed it to reveal the details.
The description explained that unlocking the True Dragon Force would elevate Reshiram's size and power to rival the dragons of this world. However, the cost for such an enhancement was steep—1 Million Jewels.
"That's... a lot," Noir murmured, furrowing his brows. While the price seemed reasonable for the immense boost, he couldn't ignore the implications. If he acquired more Dragon-type Pokémon in the future, maintaining and upgrading his roster would drain his resources rapidly.
With a resigned shake of his head, Noir decided to shelve the thought for now, and with a flick of his hand, he summoned Froakie back into the overworld. The small Water-type materialized in a flash, his wide eyes brimming with awe. "Froakie~!" he croaked, practically vibrating with excitement.
Noir chuckled, reaching up to pat Froakie's head. "You met our new friend, huh? She's incredible, isn't she?"
"Froakie!" Froakie nodded enthusiastically, his admiration for Reshiram evident in every movement.
"Glad we're on the same page," Noir said with a grin. "Now, how about we get out of this forest and find something to eat? I'm starving."
Froakie gave another energetic nod before leaping onto Noir's shoulder. Together, they set off, heading toward the faint magic signatures Noir had detected earlier.
******
"I must say, it's quite a beautiful and well-built town," Noir murmured, strolling through the bustling streets of Hargeon Town. His striking appearance, paired with the unusual sight of Froakie perched on his shoulder, drew curious glances from passersby. He paid them little mind, instead glancing at the various shops and stalls. "Now, where can I find a good restaurant? I'm starting to feel a little peckish."
As he scanned the area, a frustrated voice caught his attention. Turning toward the source, he spotted a girl with shoulder-length blonde hair and expressive brown eyes, muttering angrily under her breath.
"Wait a second..." Noir squinted, his eyes widening as he recognized her as Lucy Heartfilia, one of Fairy Tail's protagonists.
"That damn old geezer must be blind!" Lucy grumbled, punctuating her words with a kick to the ground. "Only reducing the price by 1,000 J? How is that fair? So much for using my feminine wiles..." She sighed dramatically, her shoulders slumping. "Maybe I've been overhyping my own cuteness and charm."
"You're selling yourself short there," a voice interrupted, startling her. Lucy spun around to see a boy with black hair and striking blue eyes smiling at her.
"Name's Noir," he said, raising a hand in greeting. "Sorry for eavesdropping, but I couldn't help overhearing you. I thought you might be in trouble, but then I heard you say something so untrue that I just had to step in."
Lucy's face flushed crimson as she realized how loudly she'd been venting in public. The stares of nearby townsfolk only deepened her embarrassment. "I'm Lucy," she replied with a sheepish smile, rubbing the back of her neck. "And, uh, thanks for the compliment."
Before Noir could respond, her eyes shifted to the small, frog-like creature perched on his shoulder. "What is that?" she asked, tilting her head curiously.
"This is Froakie," Noir said, gesturing to his companion. "He's my summoned beast." Froakie waved one tiny hand in a friendly greeting, earning a surprised laugh from Lucy.
"A summoning mage?!" Lucy exclaimed, her excitement bubbling over. "This is the first time I've met another summoner! What kind of magic is it? Contract magic? Or something else entirely?"
"Yeah it's something else, I will tell you later bout it," Noir replied with a chuckle. "But yeah, I'm a summoning mage. and I'm actually heading to Magnolia to check out the Fairy Tail guild."
"Oh, you're looking for Fairy Tail too?" Lucy asked, her interest piqued. "I came here because I heard that Salamander from Fairy Tail was active in this town."
Noir raised an eyebrow, suppressing a knowing smirk. He had a pretty good idea of who this 'Salamander' really was. "In that case, how about we grab a bite first? Then we can look for this 'Salamander' together."
Lucy hesitated for a moment before giving him a sly grin. "Fine," she declared, "but you're treating!" she declared, batting her eyelashes dramatically, emulating puppy eyes.
"Sure, I guess..." Noir sighed, silently grateful for the 20,000 J the Guide had hooked him with, now safely stored in his inventory.
The two wandered through town, chatting as they went. Lucy vented about her recent argument with a magic shop owner who refused to lower the price of a Silver Celestial Spirit Key she desperately wanted. Her tale soon devolved into pitiful complaints about her dwindling finances and her urgent need to join a guild so she could start earning money as a mage.
Noir listened with amused patience, occasionally interjecting with a quip or nod of sympathy. Froakie, meanwhile, seemed content to observe the bustling town from his perch.
As they crossed a quaint bridge, a sudden commotion drew their attention. A group of girls nearby squealed, pointing excitedly toward the town square.
"He's really here!" one of them shrieked.
Lucy gasped, clasping her hands together. "Salamander!" she exclaimed, her eyes sparkling. "Come on, Noir! We have to meet him!"
Before Noir could object, Lucy grabbed his arm and began dragging him toward the square.
Meanwhile, a certain pink-haired boy and his flying blue cat also overheard the news. With matching grins, the duo dashed off toward the town square, eager to see this so-called Salamander for themselves.
Back in the town square, Noir and Lucy arrived at the scene, where a crowd of women had gathered around a flamboyant man with dark blue hair. Dressed in an overly flashy outfit, he struck exaggerated poses, each gesture eliciting swoons and dreamy sighs from the crowd. Hearts practically floated in their eyes as they clung to his every word.
Even Lucy, who had just arrived, seemed entranced. Her face flushed, and her eyes sparkled with stars as she clasped her hands together like the other women.
Meanwhile, Noir frowned as his eyes immediately picked up on the fact that the man in front of him was using some kind of weird magic to charm the women around him. His frown deepened when he glanced at Lucy and saw a similarly entranced expression on her face, just like the other women around them.
'This is ridiculous,' Noir thought, exasperated. Deciding to put an end to the farce, he issued a mental command. 'Froakie, use Hydro Pump on that poser.'
With a sharp croak of acknowledgment, Froakie leapt into the air. In one fluid motion, the Water-type unleashed a powerful torrent of water, drenching the blue-haired mage and sending him crashing into a nearby wall with a loud splat.
"Whaaaaaat?!" the crowd of girls shrieked in unison, turning their shock-filled gazes to Noir and Froakie. "Why the hell did you do that?!" all of the women demanded in unison, anger flickering in their previously love-struck eyes.
Noir crossed his arms, unfazed by their reactions. "Because that moron was using magic to manipulate you all," he said bluntly, gesturing toward the drenched and dazed mage
His words sparked murmurs of disbelief among the crowd.
"He's right... Why would I be into someone with blue hair? That's not my type at all!"
"Yeah, and what's with that gaudy outfit? I'd never fall for a guy dressed like that!"
"How dare he try to mess with our heads!"
As the crowd's outrage grew, Noir approached the blue-haired man. The mage groaned weakly, still slumped against the wall. Without hesitation, Noir pulled a peculiar heart-shaped ring off the man's finger, which he had identified as the source of that weird mind-controlling magic.
Turning back to the crowd, Noir casually tossed the ring to one of the women. "Here. You might want to report this guy to the local authorities. They'll probably call in a guild to deal with him. Or maybe they won't—I don't really care," he added with a shrug, not thinking that it was his problem anymore since he already helped as much as he could.
The crowd of women erupted into cheers of gratitude, some already discussing how best to report the incident. Meanwhile, Noir turned to Lucy, who had finally snapped out of her daze. She was now glaring at him, her face a mix of embarrassment and irritation.
"Are you coming, or do you want to stick around and fawn over another fraud?" Noir teased, a smirk tugging at his lips.
Lucy's face turned a deeper shade of crimson. "Let's just go already!" she snapped, spinning on her heel and marching away, her head down to hide her embarrassment.
Chuckling softly, Noir followed, Froakie perched proudly on his shoulder. "Well, that was fun," he remarked, grinning. "Looks like we made quite the splash."
"Froakie~!" Froakie croaked in agreement, puffing out his chest with pride.
******
Meanwhile, the pink-haired boy and his flying blue cat arrived at the town square, eager to meet the so-called "Salamander." However, to their disappointment, the square was mostly empty, with no sign of the rumored Salamander they'd heard about.
Natsu scratched the back of his head. When he asked around and learned what had happened there, a frustrated frown crossed his face as he scanned the area. "Man, I really thought there'd be a dragon here. Salamander? Hah, some faker pretending to be a dragon!"
"You really wanted to meet another dragon, huh?" Happy said, flapping his wings as he hovered beside his partner.
"Of course! It's been ages since I've seen Igneel." Natsu's face softened at the thought of his father. "But I guess this guy wasn't even worth the trip. What a waste of time."
"But Natsu!" Happy suddenly chirped. "Fish makes everything better! Let's buy some before heading home."
Natsu groaned, dragging his feet. "Yeah, yeah. Fish for you, but then it's back on that stupid train. Ugh, why can't I just find Igneel already instead of wasting my time chasing rumors?"
As the duo wandered off, Natsu's voice faded into the bustling sounds of Hargeon Town and the fated meeting between Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Heartfilia never took place in this world.
******
A little ways from the town square, Noir and Lucy found themselves seated in a cozy corner of a quaint restaurant. The smell of freshly baked bread and simmering sauces wafted through the air as they waited for their food.
"So, Noir," Lucy began, resting her chin in her hand. "How did you know that fake Salamander guy was using charm magic to influence the girls?"
"Charm magic?" Noir raised an eyebrow, his expression curious. "I didn't know that's what it was called. I just noticed some weird magical aura coming off his ring and wrapping around all you girls. Plus, his smug face irritated me, so I blasted him with water," he added nonchalantly, prompting Lucy to giggle softly.
"At least your summons don't scold you for calling them over," she muttered under her breath, a slight grimace crossing her face as she thought of a certain temperamental aquatic Celestial Spirit of hers. Then she perked up, her curiosity piqued. "Wait—what do you mean by 'you saw'? I didn't see anything like that. All I noticed was him showing off some fire magic."
Noir leaned back in his chair, gesturing toward his bright blue eyes, which seemed to glimmer faintly even in the dim lighting. "It's because of these. My eyes let me perceive magic directly. It's like seeing threads of energy moving through the air. That's how I figured out the ring on his finger was the source of his charm magic, not... well, anything else," he finished with a wry grin.
The waitress arrived, interrupting their conversation as she placed their dishes on the table. Noir handed a piece of garlic bread to Froakie, who sat perched on the edge of the table. The little Pokémon happily nibbled on the treat, croaking contentedly.
"So," Noir said, turning his attention back to Lucy, "what's your next move? You still plan on joining the Fairy Tail guild, right?"
Lucy nodded, a small smile spreading across her face. "Yeah, that's the plan."
"In that case, why not head to Magnolia together?" Noir suggested. "Unless there's something else keeping you here."
"Not really," Lucy admitted with a frown. "Since I don't have enough money to buy that Silver Celestial Key, there's no point in sticking around and wasting more cash on a room for the night. But we'll have to be careful. Only three trains go from here to Magnolia, and the second one's probably already left. The next one won't arrive until 9 p.m."
"Then why not explore the town a bit in the meantime?" Noir offered. "There's no rush."
Lucy agreed, and after finishing their meal, the pair set out to wander Hargeon Town. They meandered through its lively streets, passing colorful stalls and quaint shops, though most of their exploration was limited to window shopping since Lucy was short on funds and Noir had no desire to waste necessary money here.
And just like that, it was already 8:30 P.M. and by the time they reached the train station, the sky had darkened into a rich indigo, the crescent moon casting a silvery glow over the town.
******
"I have to say, this town really has its charm at night," Lucy remarked, her gaze lingering on the illuminated harbor visible from nearly every corner of the town. The soft sound of waves lapping against the docks added to the serene atmosphere.
"Yeah," Noir agreed, though his focus was partly on Froakie, who was perched on his shoulder, curiously taking in the sights. "You seem to know a lot about train schedules. Do you travel often?"
Lucy nodded, her expression softening as a wistful smile crossed her lips. "Yeah, I've been on the move for a while now," she admitted, though she didn't elaborate. "Anyway, the train should be here soon. Maybe we should grab something to—"
Before she could finish, her sentence was interrupted by the sharp sound of footsteps and the sight of a group approaching them. At the front of the group was a familiar figure: the blue-haired mage Noir had exposed earlier. His face was twisted in anger, and his gaze burned with hatred as he pointed a trembling finger at Noir.
"You!" he growled, his voice loud enough to turn heads nearby. "You ruined my life! Ever since you exposed me, not a single girl in this town will talk to me! They're even warning others about me, and now the local authorities are after me too!" His voice rose in pitch, his frustration evident. "How dare you do this to me?!"
Noir stared at him blankly, unimpressed. "You're blaming me?" he said, his tone as dry as the desert, mirrored perfectly by Froakie's equally deadpan expression. "You're the one who decided to act like a lowlife and use magic to manipulate people. Honestly, I did you a favor. You should be grateful I stopped you before you ran into someone really dangerous. You know there are plenty of female mages passing through this town who wouldn't fall for your tricks. Some of them might've done more than humiliate you."
"Shut up!" the man shouted, his hands igniting with eerie, purple-colored flames. "I don't care about your self-righteous crap! You humiliated me on my own turf! Now, I'm going to make you pay. Nobody messes with Bora and gets away with it!" Behind him, his group of lackeys cracked their knuckles menacingly, forming a loose semi-circle around Noir and Lucy.
Noir sighed deeply, his expression one of mild annoyance. "Some people never learn," he muttered as Froakie leapt gracefully from his shoulder, landing in front of him in a ready stance.
'Should I release Reshiram?' a thought crossed his mind for a moment before he threw it out. 'No,' he thought, 'it would be quite an overkill to use Reshiram for a small fry like him, besides, summoning a 20-foot dragon in a populated city like this would be a truly braindead move.'
Lucy, watching the tense exchange unfold, clutched a golden Celestial Key in her hand and stepped closer. "Um, Noir, do you need some help?" she asked.
"Nah, I got this," Noir said with a dismissive wave, a confident smirk tugging at his lips. His calm demeanor only served to infuriate Bora further as the mage's flames flared brighter.
******
The tension thickened as Bora's gang advanced, their glares sharp and menacing. Noir, however, remained relaxed, his stance unbothered.
Lucy clutched her Celestial Key tightly, glancing nervously between Noir and the oncoming group. "Are you sure you don't need help?" she asked hesitantly.
"Nope," Noir replied, a smirk tugging at his lips. "This won't take long."
Bora sneered. "Big words. Let's see how long that confidence lasts. Get him!" At his command, his lackeys surged forward like a pack of wolves.
The first thug, a hulking man armed with a club, swung down with all his might. Noir sidestepped effortlessly, the blow smashing into the empty ground. Moving smoothly, he stepped into the thug's guard, grabbed his wrist, and twisted sharply. The man yelped in pain as his club clattered to the ground.
"Too slow," Noir said, almost bored, before delivering a precise elbow strike to the thug's temple. The man crumpled like a sack of bricks.
Two more came at him in tandem—one armed with a dagger, the other with a staff. The dagger-wielder lunged first, the blade aimed for Noir's ribs. He swayed just out of range, the blade cutting through nothing but air.
As the staff came swinging in from Noir's flank but suddenly his hand shot out, catching it mid-swing without even looking towards him. The thug's eyes widened in disbelief as Noir yanked the weapon free with ease and used it to jab the man in the stomach. The thug doubled over with a wheeze, only to collapse when Noir slammed the staff's end into his side.
The dagger-wielder hesitated, eyes darting between Noir and his fallen comrade. Noir didn't give him a chance to reconsider. With a flick of his wrist, he spun the staff around and knocked the dagger from the thug's hand. A second strike to the back of the head sent him sprawling.
"Froakie, your turn," Noir called casually, spinning the staff before tossing it aside. 'Close the distance with Double Team.'
Froakie leapt into action, darting toward a trio of lackeys who tried to flank them. The little Pokémon moved forward while its Double Team created multiple copies of him that moved along with him leaving the thugs swinging at illusions.
"Where which one is the real one!" one yelled, his voice tinged with panic.
Noir said, smirking as Froakie leapt into the air above them. 'Now, use Hydro Pump to sweep through them!'
Froakie unleashed a powerful blast of water that struck all three with the force of a cannon, sending them flying into a pile of crates. The wood splintered on impact, and the thugs groaned in pain, too drenched and dazed to stand.
"Pathetic!" Bora snarled, his frustration boiling over. He raised his hands, conjuring twin spirals of purple flames that flared brighter with each passing second. "If you want something done right, you do it yourself!" He thrust his arms forward, summoning a Magic Seal in front of him. "Whip!" From the seal emerged several fiery, curved beams of purple light, each one snaking through the air as they homed in on Noir.
Noir meanwhile simply raised his hands. "Water Pulse!" blue spheres of energy in front of each of its hands before he combined them in the large ball. He then fired the spheres at the incoming attack. The water hissed and steamed as it clashed with the fire, creating a dense mist that shrouded the street.
A moment later, when the mist cleared, Bora snarled, thrusting both arms forward. "Let's see you dodge this! Red Shower!" Another Magic Seal appeared, releasing a volley of purple flames in a scattered formation, each flame searing through the air with terrifying speed.
'Froakie, Double Team!' Noir called.
The little Pokémon leapt from his shoulder, splitting into multiple identical afterimages that darted through the scattered flames. Bora's eyes darted from image to image with his frustration mounting. Noir, meanwhile, spun through the barrage, easily evading each flame with an almost practiced ease thanks to the 360% vision of his eyes.
"You're annoying!" Bora growled, slamming his hands together as he summoned another Magic Seal. "Time to wipe that smug look off your face! Prominence Typhoon!"
A massive spiraling column of purple fire erupted from the seal, roaring toward Noir with destructive intent. Noir's gaze narrowed, and he raised both hands, summoning another set of Water Pulses in his hands. However this time instead of launching them he held them in his hand using them as a shield. The flames crashed against it with a deafening roar, steam billowing into the air as the two forces clashed.
"Noir, let me-!" Lucy called out, gripping her Celestial Key as if ready to intervene but Noir stopped her once more.
"Stay back, Lucy," Noir replied calmly. "This is still under control."
With a swift motion, Noir closed the distance between himself and Bora appearing right in front of him. "Water Pulse!" he shouted, creating an orb of water and striking straight through Bora's chest, sending him stumbling back.
Panting, Bora glared at Noir, hatred burning in his eyes as he got back on his feet. "You think you're so clever," he spat, raising his arms above his head. "But let's see how you handle this! Red Skull!"
With another Magic Seal, He conjured a massive sphere of purple fire, adorned with a sinister, cartoonish skull. With a yell, he hurled it toward Noir, the flames crackling with malevolent energy.
Noir however just folded his arms to his chest and commanded, 'Froakie, Hydro Pump!'
Froakie unleashed a high-pressure blast of water, meeting the flaming skull head-on. The two forces collided in mid-air, the impact shaking the ground as flames and water battled for dominance. Finally, the Hydro Pump broke through, extinguishing the fiery skull and soaking Bora before sending him crashing through the wall. When the steam cleared, Bora lay sprawled on the ground, soaked and unconscious.
******
Just as Noir brushed off his hands, the unmistakable sound of heavy boots echoed, and a group of city guards stormed onto the scene. Their leader, a burly man with a no-nonsense expression, pointed an accusatory finger at Noir.
"Hey, you! What's going on here?" he demanded, in a sharp tone.
"Nothing much," Noir replied with a nonchalant shrug. "Just self-defense. Oh, and isn't this the guy you've been looking for?" He gestured toward Bora, who was slumped unconscious against a wall, his lackeys sprawled nearby in similar states.
The guard hesitated, his stern expression faltering as he glanced at Bora, then back at Noir. "That's true, but—"
Before he could finish, a piercing train whistle cut through the air, drawing everyone's attention.
"Noir, we need to hurry! The train's leaving!" Without waiting for Noir's response, she grabbed his hand and yanked him into a sprint toward the station.
"Hey! Get back here!" the guards shouted, but their protests were drowned out by the sound of the approaching train. Noir shot them an apologetic smile over his shoulder as Lucy led the charge.
The pair arrived at the station just in time, hastily buying tickets and slipping aboard the train as it began to pull out of the station. Breathing heavily, they collapsed into their seats, the tension from the encounter finally easing.
As the train rattled along, Noir's moment of relaxation was interrupted by the sudden appearance of a translucent screen hovering in front of him. He blinked, startled, and quickly glanced at Lucy, who was gazing out the window, oblivious to the screen. Realizing she couldn't see it, he turned his attention back to the display.
Interference in Canon Event Detected!
Calculating the impact... Success!
Result: Adequate
Calculating rewards... Success!
'Oh,' Noir thought, his mind racing. 'Natsu was supposed to show up back there, wasn't he? And Lucy was supposed to get tricked into following Bora onto his ship. That would've led to a fight between Natsu and Bora... probably destroying half the port in the process.'
Three Rewards Acquired!
1. Summoning Capacity increased by 1.
2. Acquiring a random Pokémon and move... Success!
-Rowlet caught and added to the party.
-Plant Magic: Leaf Blade acquired.
-Enhancement Magic: Overgrow acquired.
3. Magic Power and Capacity increased by 25%!
-Resistance to and power of Plant and Wind Magic increased by 25%.
'Not bad,' Noir thought, smirking as the screen faded. 'A new Pokémon and more summons. I guess they're rewarding me for making changes instead of sticking to the original script.'
Without hesitation, Noir summoned his new Pokémon. A flash of light filled the compartment, and when it cleared, a small, round owl with a leaf-like bowtie perched on the seat beside him. Its head tilted curiously as it chirped, flapping its tiny wings.
"What is that?!" Lucy yelped, whipping her head around to see the new arrival.
"This," Noir said proudly, "is Rowlet, my newest summon." He crouched slightly, holding out a hand. "Welcome to the team, buddy."
Rowlet chirped again, lifting one wing in a cheerful greeting before hopping onto Noir's arm.
Lucy groaned, leaning back into her seat. "Why can't my summons be this cute? It's not fair."
Noir leaned back with a smug grin, stroking Rowlet's feathers. "Guess I'm just lucky like that."
As the train rattled on toward Magnolia, the duo fell into a more relaxed rhythm. Lucy began talking about various things, while Noir listened, already mentally preparing for the chaos that awaited them in the infamous guild.
To be continued...

A/n: Now I know that some of you must be thinking that the system is being too generous to our protagonist, but trust me, it is not. And I have two reasons to believe that:
1. The power levels in Fairy Tail get crazy high, crazy fast, so I need to keep giving him tools to be relevant in the plot.
2. There are too many Pokémon and moves, so if I don't give him those frequently, I won't get a chance to play with them, which was the main reason to write this in the first place.
I hope you understand. And if you have any characters you want to see early, some ideas for characters, or some lore suggestions, please leave those in the comments.
