Chapter 1: And the Journey begins!
Hi, I'm Noir. And... well, I guess I died. Shrugs
You know how these kinds of stories usually go, right? One minute, I'm walking home late at night after hanging out with a friend, and the next—bam!—a truck comes out of nowhere and takes me out. Classic "truck-kun," doing its usual thing.
The next thing I know, I'm standing in the middle of this endless, white void, staring at a woman so breathtakingly beautiful that she seemed like she had stepped straight out of a dream. She was smiling at me, calm and serene, like she belonged in another world. For a moment, I actually thought I'd ended up in heaven—or somewhere close to it.
Turns out, she wasn't an angel. She introduced herself as a "Guide" and, with a voice as smooth as silk, casually dropped the bombshell that I'd been chosen for transmigration into another world. I mean, how cool is that? Immediately, my brain started going into overdrive, running through all those fantasy novels and anime I'd binged over the years. Was this it? My big shot at becoming a hero? Maybe going on some epic adventure to save a kingdom, or take down a demon lord?
...Yeah, not quite.
She laughed. Not just a polite little chuckle, but a full-on, tears-in-her-eyes kind of laugh. I just stood there, scratching my head awkwardly, unsure whether I should be offended or confused. When she finally got herself under control, she gave me this knowing smile and called me "childish."
Ouch.
Then she dropped the real truth. I wasn't "chosen" for some grand prophecy or noble mission. Nope. I had just gotten really lucky. Apparently, the gods of various worlds had grown bored with their usual routine and decided they needed to shake things up. Their brilliant idea? Toss an ordinary, clueless outsider like me into their world to see what kind of chaos I could cause.
Oh, and here's the kicker: there was no prophecy, no expectations, nothing. She made it clear that I was free to do whatever I wanted. The only consequences I'd face would be the direct result of my actions.
With that, she casually snapped her fingers, and out of thin air, two massive gacha machines appeared beside her. Their bright, flashing lights and cheerful music seemed completely out of place in the infinite void, but she just smiled and gestured to them as if it was the most normal thing in the world before starting the transmigration process.
******
"Now then, let's see what kind of world you're heading to," the Guide said, gripping the lever of the gacha machine. With a dramatic pull, the machine whirred to life, its screen flashing brightly as countless names zipped by in a blur. Finally, it stopped, the letters glowing vividly on the display.
"Fairy Tail..." Noir muttered as the name stirred a faint memory. "Wait, isn't that the one with magic and dragons? What was that guy's name again... oh, right—Acnologia!"
"Indeed, it's the same world," the Guide confirmed, her smile knowing. "Are you familiar with it?"
"I guess you could say that," Noir replied, scratching his chin thoughtfully. "It was the first anime I ever watched, but that was ages ago. I remember the main characters and the big events... mostly, anyway."
"Good enough," the Guide said with a casual wave of her hand. "Now, you have four boons to request. However, keep in mind you can't ask for anything absurd or universe-breaking. I don't want another incident like transmigrator #369. I had to prune an entire timeline because that fool thought it was a good idea to mess with multiple timelines."
Noir's curiosity was piqued at the mention of the rogue transmigrator. He wanted to ask what kind of boons the other transmigrator had requested to cause such chaos but decided against it. Instead, he focused on what he wanted for himself.
'Wait... I'm going to a shonen manga world. Doesn't that mean escalating threats will pop up every other week?' His brow furrowed as he weighed his options. 'If what Miss Guide says is true, I could just settle in some far-off corner of the world, away from the main cast, and live a quiet, peaceful life without getting cursed by the gods.'
The idea lingered for a moment before he shook his head with a scoff. 'Sure, that's not a bad plan. But if I'm getting an extraordinary chance like this—and with bonus perks to boot—why wouldn't I aim for a life full of adventure?'
With that, his mind was made up, and he began deciding on his first boon.
"Miss Guide, for my first boon, can you give me regeneration?"
"That is possible," the Guide replied, but her tone turned serious. "However, I must ask—are you mentally prepared to endure pseudo-immortality?"
"Huh?" Noir blinked, caught off guard.
"The regenerative ability I'd bestow would be highly effective," the Guide explained. "It would halt your aging process until the regeneration weakens over time—though that would take an exceptionally long time. In essence, you'd live far longer than any ordinary human. That's why I ask, are you ready for such a fate?"
Noir fell silent, her words weighing heavily on him. After a long pause, he shook his head. "No, I don't think I am. Let's pass on that one." He rubbed his chin again, recalibrating his request. "Instead, I'd like a perfect body—one immune to natural, magical, and man-made diseases, with incredible stamina and rapid recovery."
"Very well," the Guide said with a snap of her fingers. Instantly, Noir's body began to change—his height stretched to an even six feet, and his frame morphed into a lean yet muscular build, radiating vitality.
"Wow... I feel amazing," Noir marveled, flexing his fingers and taking in his transformed physique. Once he'd finished admiring himself, he turned to the Guide with renewed enthusiasm.
"For my second boon, I'd like the Six Eyes. And for my third, I want Satoru Gojo's fighting skills, battle instincts, and battle IQ."
"Both are possible," the Guide said as she snapped her fingers. A sharp pain surged through Noir's head as foreign knowledge flooded his mind. His eyes burned briefly, their color shifting from black to a brilliant, sparkling sky blue.
The reason he asked for Six Eyes was that he thought it would be nice to have a tool that could help him perceive and understand magic. As for his third boon, he knew that there was no way he was going to develop the skills or instincts of a fighter anytime soon, courtesy of living in a non-magical place like Earth, and something in his gut was warning him that he wasn't going to get that kind of time at all.
"Wait," Noir asked suddenly, concern flickering in his expression. "Won't my brain overload with information as soon as enter the world?"
"Do not worry," the Guide explained, "while granting your boon, I also strengthen your brain so that you can handle those eyes." "Besides, since you do not have the burden of Limitless like Satoru Gojo, you will learn to handle those eyes quite easily."
Relieved, Noir nodded. "For my fourth boon, I want a magic breeder inside my body."
"No, that cannot be granted," Guide curtly denied his request. "This request comes under the absurd requests I mentioned earlier. Besides, even if I could grant you this boon, I wouldn't since your current body won't be able to handle the constant production of magic power inside you, forcing me to enforce your body, making it comparable to a Dragon, which again would be an absurd request."
"Fine," Noir sighed. "How about an inventory system? You know, for storing items and stuff."
"Now that is reasonable," the Guide said, snapping her fingers. "You now have access to Space Magic: Inventory. It allows you to store anything that isn't living or sentient."
"Perfect," Noir said, satisfied.
"Now that we're done with your boons, let's move on to the final step before sending you to the new world," the Guide said, walking toward the second gacha machine. "This machine will determine what kind of system you'll have."
"System? Another cheat?" Noir tilted his head. "I thought those four boons were my cheat."
"No," the Guide replied with a knowing smile. "Those boons were given to ensure your survival. This system is designed to add some spice to your journey—which, after all, is why you're here in the first place."
"Sure... I guess," Noir said with a shrug. He wasn't about to refuse another power, not when he knew the kind of powerhouses he'd be dealing with in the world he was heading to.
"Well then, let's see what luck has in store for you," the Guide said as she pulled the lever. Just like before, the screen lit up, cycling through countless options before coming to a stop. Her eyebrows rose in surprise. "Oh my, what an interesting and unique system you've got."
Noir, however, barely registered her words. His attention was glued to the screen, where the words "Pokemon Summoning System" were displayed in bold letters.
The Guide chuckled softly, clearly amused by his reaction. "Now then, it's time for you to leave and embark on your next big adventure!"
Her words snapped Noir out of his daze, and he turned to her, eyes wide. "Wait—!"
But before he could finish, the world around him went white. The last thing he heard was the Guide's parting words, spoken in a playful yet warm tone.
"Have a good adventure, Noir, and make things entertaining for us to watch. May your life be long... and I hope we don't meet again anytime soon."

When Noir opened his eyes, he found himself lying on the soft, mossy ground in the middle of a forest. Slowly, he pushed himself to his feet, brushing off the bits of dirt and leaves clinging to his clothes, while his head was still spinning making him feel dazed.
A glint of light caught his attention, drawing his gaze to a nearby river. Curious and still disoriented, he made his way to the water's edge. Kneeling down, he leaned in to look at his reflection and froze upon seeing a pair of sparkling, otherworldly blue eyes staring back at him.
"So... it wasn't a dream," he muttered under his breath before his gaze drifted away from the water and into the surrounding woods. "Now the question is, where the hell am I?" he said looking around, but apart from the chirping of birds and the rustling of small animals in the trees, there was no sign of intelligent life anywhere around him.
However, something unusual tugged at his senses. It was a faint but unmistakable and subtle presence of various kinds of magic emanating from a certain direction. His newly acquired eyes seemed to pick up on it instinctively.
"It'll take some time to get used to these eyes," Noir admitted, staring at the direction he could sense magic from. "But for now, it seems like all I can do is perceive magic. Although, this 360-degree vision is pretty amazing, so I'm not complaining."
Shaking off the lingering disorientation, he straightened up and adjusted his posture. "Alright, standing around isn't going to solve anything. Let's figure out where I am." Just as he was about to set off, a thought struck him—there was one thing he hadn't checked yet. Taking a deep breath, he raised a hand and spoke with deliberate intent. "Open!"
A moment later, the air before him shimmered, and a translucent panel materialized before him. Noir blinked, his confusion quickly giving way to intrigue as bold, glowing text scrolled across the screen.
Welcome to the Pokemon Summoning System!
This is a beginner's guide to help the user get acquainted with the system!
However, a Pokémon Trainer's journey never starts without a starter!
Continue
Intrigued, Noir tapped the 'Continue' button. His eyes widened in pleasant surprise as images of all the starter Pokémon from Generations 1 through 9 appeared on the screen. A caption below the images invited him to choose one. For Noir, the choice was obvious. One of his all-time favorite Pokémon belonged to these evolution lines. Without hesitation, he selected the image of his favorite.
Congratulations! Froakie has been successfully caught and added to the party!
Noir grinned at the message, but his amusement quickly turned to shock as additional notifications popped up:
Magic Power and Capacity increased by 25%!
The Power of Water and related magic increased by 25%
The resistance to Water and related magic increased by 25%
Noir's jaw dropped as the words sank in. A wave of raw energy surged through his body, leaving him momentarily breathless. "So catching Pokémon gives me buffs? That's... broken," he muttered, though he couldn't deny the excitement coursing through him.
But the surprises weren't over yet.
Enhancement Magic: Torrent, acquired.
Acquiring a random move from Froakie's moves... Processing... Successful!
Water Magic: Water Pulse, acquired.
"Are you kidding me?" Noir whispered, his voice trembling with awe. The system was even more powerful than he'd imagined. Not only did it grant him magic enhancements, but it also equipped him with a spell directly tied to his Pokémon. He was then forcefully pulled out of his daze as more information appeared on the screen explaining the functions of the system.
The first thing Noir discovered was that the system was level-based, requiring him to earn experience points (EXP) by defeating enemies or achieving significant milestones in the world. However, there was a catch—the amount of experience needed to level up increased little by little with each level.
Acquiring new Pokémon and moves was also tied to this leveling system.
At every third level, the system would grant Noir a random move from the Pokémon universe's existing move pool. However, these moves were capped at a base power of 50.
Every fifth level, he would unlock a chance to draw a random Pokémon. Legendary and Mythical Pokémon were excluded from this draw, but any other Pokémon could appear. The chosen Pokémon would be added to his party immediately, providing stat bonuses based on its typing and evolutionary stage. Additionally, Noir would gain the Pokémon's ability and a random move from its natural move pool.
Every tenth level, Noir will get a special draw to summon a guaranteed Legendary or Mythical Pokémon. Unlike normal Pokémon, these Legendary and Mythical Pokémon not only provide an ability and a random move from their Moveset, but they also guarantee the signature move associated with that specific Pokémon.
Beyond these features, the system included two practical functions: the Status Tab, which tracked both his and his Pokémon's progress, and the PokeMart Tab, allowing him to purchase items from the Pokémon world using a currency called Jewels, native to this world. The interface even included a tutorial on summoning Pokémon into the real world, which, as Noir learned, was as simple as calling out their names.
Additionally, it also informed him that, although Pokémon cannot be killed, they could faint if they sustained excessive damage, rendering them unavailable for summoning for an entire week. During this recovery period, Noir would also be unable to use moves he had gained from the fainted Pokémon—a serious limitation he made a mental note to avoid.
With that Noir finally had all the basic information about the system and pressed 'continue' on the screen finally bringing him to the menu screen. It displayed four options: Status, Pokémon, Summon, and Shop.
"You know what? I can check all this later," Noir muttered, his excitement bubbling to the surface. "Right now, I just want to meet my Pokémon!" Taking a deep breath, he called out, "Froakie, come out, buddy!"
As soon as he spoke, a magic circle, glowing with patterns reminiscent of a Pokéball, materialized on the ground before him. In a brilliant flash of light, a small, quadrupedal, frog-like Pokémon emerged. Its bright eyes sparkled with curiosity and energy.
"Froakie~!" it croaked enthusiastically, looking up at Noir.
"Hello, Froakie. Nice to meet you," Noir said warmly, crouching to meet his new companion's gaze.
"Froakie~!" The Pokémon gave a spirited nod.
Seeing Froakie's enthusiastic attitude, Noir couldn't help but grin. In his mind, he pictured a battle scene with a Battle Bond-activated Greninja fighting by his side. Just as this vivid image played in his head, he noticed a peculiar glimmer in Froakie's eyes. A wild thought struck him.
'Can you hear me, buddy?' Noir asked mentally. To his astonishment, Froakie nodded.
"This is perfect!" Noir exclaimed, his grin widening. "Now I don't have to shout commands during battle. Oh, speaking of battles—let's see what you've got." He swiped his hand through the air, bringing up Froakie's status page.

"Hmm... it seems numerical stats don't exist here, and moves are locked behind evolution stages," Noir mused, rubbing his chin. Exiting the Pokémon tab, he noticed the Summon tab glowing. Curious, he clicked on it, and a new message appeared:
First-time Summoning Bonus! Choose one of the options!
Draw 5 normal Pokemon!
or
Draw a guaranteed Legendary or Mythical Pokemon!
After a moment of awe at the offer, Noir bit his fingernails, thinking about which option he should choose. Now at this point, a sensible and productive choice would have been to choose the first option, which would have given him a bigger selection of Pokémon and moves added to his arsenal. However, years of playing and collecting Pokémon TCG had completely ruined Noir's mentality when it comes to things like these.
"Quality over quantity, right?" he mumbled to himself, offering a flimsy excuse as his finger hovered over the second option. With a grin of guilty indulgence, he tapped the glowing button.
Drawing a random Legendary or Mythical Pokemon... Processing... Success!
Congratulations! Legendary Pokemon, Reshiram has been successfully caught and added to the party!
To be continued...
