Dragon Ball The Next

With a flash of white light, Goten appeared on the battlefield.

"Huh?" Zamasu was confused when Goten appeared.

"Now I got you." Future Trunks said as he sliced off Zamasu's body in half using this opportunity.

Zamasu was supposed to be dead but he gave off a smile before his body fell to the ground.

Sending chills down Future Trunks's spine.

"Is that?" Future Trunks said as he then looked at Goten.

He didn't interact with him much but he remembered seeing him while he was in the past.

"Huff. Huff." Goku sustained a lot of damage from Vegeta's big bang attack.

"Damn it." Vegeta curses as he sees that he missed his attack for the second time.

No. It was more problematic now because it hit someone.

That person is the guy who is fighting by his side.

Vegeta ki was now depleted after using the Final Flash and Big Bang attack one after the other as he reverted to Super Saiyan form.

"This is the end," Black said as he created an energy blade in his hand and dashed towards Vegeta to finish him off but Goten appeared right in front of him.

Goten immediately tried to attack Black as he transformed into Super Saiyan Rose form.

Black deactivated his energy blade and pushed Goten away before the hybrid Saiyan landed an attack on him.

"Who are you?" Black asked in confusion.

As Future Trunks tried to catch his breath after he thought he had killed Zamasu.

Then suddenly a metal pipe appeared out of nowhere as it was thrown towards him.

It would have pierced his body as he was off guard at that time.

But before it hit him an energy beam reduced the metal pipe into dust.

Future Trunks looked upwards and saw Chronoa.

"A SupremeKai?" he said in disbelief.

She smiled at him.

"Don't let your guard down yet. Your opponent is an immortal God." She warned Future Trunks.

"Excuse me?" He asked.

As Zamasu flew back into his vision. With his whole body intact.

Not only had he recovered from the slash but it also looked like he had not taken any damage even after the powerful attacks that Future Trunks threw at him.

Zamasu took a glace at both Future Trunks and Chronoa.

"This is not looking good for me. And it seems that the child that appeared is going after my other self." Zamasu mattered to himself.

"Lords of the world. Please assist me in taking down this evil doer." Future Trunks asked Chronoa.

He deemed her as an ally immediately as she saved his life and it was a desperate situation.

"You got it," Choronoa replied as she gave a peace sign to him.

"Goten? How is he here?" Goku said as he looked at Goten who had started his fight against Balck.

"It doesn't matter. Since he is here we can rest and recover our ki." Vegeta said.

"Hey, Vegeta. Do you know anything about what Bulma gave to Trunk? I think might have heard her say it's for us." Goku asked Vegeta.

"Huh? Did she give him a gift?" Vegeta was confused.

Goten launched an attack on Black.

Black blocked the attack.

Only for Goten to appear from the other direction that Black was not facing and continued to put pressure on him.

"How? How do you have the same transformation as me?" Black asked Goten.

"Because you are not special. Imposter." Goten said.

He saw Black wishing to switch his body with Goku from Chronoa's scroll. And he was less than impressed.

"A fake God who discards his body for power," Goten said to Black.

"And what is so different about you?" Black replied.

He saw that Goten was also using Rose so he guessed that he was the same as him.

"No. We are different." Goten said as he pushed back Black.

"For one I don't try to kill everyone that I can see." He said as he punched Black in the face.

Black dodged the attack with Kaikai and appeared behind Goten.

Goten countered the attack with a backheel fist which hit Black in the face.

However Black was as able to get a stab in Goten's body during this exchange.

"Tsk," Goten growled as he held the wound that was on his body.

It was not a very deep wound but it was still threatening as he would lose blood from it over time.

Black smiled as he looked at Goten.

"Do you think that I would not have anything to prevent this kind of accident?" Goten said as he put his hand around the area where Black stabbed him.

A green glow appeared as it started to heal itself.

"Magic? You can't lie to me. As I thought you were the same as me. A Kai." Black said.

He knew that Goten healed himself by using the ability that only gods and people with extraordinary ki control could use.

"Tell me. Are you another variant of me?" Black said as he carefully examined Goten's body.

"You body looked younger. But my eyes don't deceive me. It is still that of Son Goku. While your soul is not." Black said as he finally took his battle position.

"Come join me. You seem to be even more useful than Zamasu. Together you and I can rule the universe by completing zero mortal project." Black said to Goten.

"Zero-mortal project?" Goten asked.

"By wiping out all the mortals we can Restart this beautiful multiverse including all the twelve universes throughout all the times to its beautiful state," Black explained.

"You are sick in the head," Goten said to Zamasu.

"Stop saying whatever you think is right? I don't like you from the start and now you are starting to piss me off." Goten said.

During his new life, he has never faced someone that he hated as much as Black.

He faces Buu who he hates for stealing Gohan's body but he knows deep down Buu is just someone who is trying to survive.

He faced Frieza but he did not hate him much as he didn't see the deeds that the Space Tyrant caused in the past.

21 and Beerus are people that he only faced due to circumstances.

But Black was different. It was like seeing an evil version of himself.

Someone who learned techniques from Kais.

Someone who has Son Goku's appearance.

Someone who has a similar transformation.

But opposing ideals.

A person who is doing what Goten considers to be evil deeds just because he can.

At first, He only sees him as someone who cheats his way to power by using Zenkai and stealing other bodies instead of training.

But now he is starting to see the monster that was hidden inside him.
