Dragon Ball The Next

"Kaioken. Times 20." Goku said as a red aura appeared around his body.

He flew towards Black and tried to attack him head-on.

"Son Goku," Black said as he caught Goku's fist.

Even with Goku using his full power Black has already become too strong.

"Finish Buster." Future Trunks said as he launched a powerful attack that forced Zamasu to dodge.

"Finally," Vegeta said after he was able to break free of Zamasu's constraint because of Future Trunks's attack.

He lost some of his power after using his Final Flash but he is still able to maintain his evolution form.

He looked at Zamasu who was being pressured by Future Trunks.

"Trunks can take care of him." He said as he flew towards Black.

"Zamasu. Right. I am going to make you pay for what you did to my timeline." Future Trunks said.

His sword and the purple energy blade that was on Zamasu's right arm clashed a few sparks appeared around them.

"Foolish mortal. Do you think you could defeat me?" Zamasu said to Future Trunks.

Future Trunks was more powerful than Zamasu but Zamasu had too many tricks and abilities that prevented Future Trunks from finishing the fight immediately.

"Ha." Zamasu used a telekinesis ability to throw a bunch of stuff at Future Trunks. Mainly composed of rocks.

Future Trunks used his sword to destroy the stuff that was thrown at him.

"Take this," Zamasu said as he launched a lightning bolt from his hand at Future Trunks.

Future Trunks was unable to react to the attack in time as he was hit by the lighting.

When the attack hit him it didn't harm him. But he was unable to move for a few seconds.

"Dvine God Cannon," Zamasu said as he started to charge a ki blast.

"Haaaa." Future Trunks increased his power to the maximum for a few seconds to break out of Zamasu's attack.

"!" Zamasu immediately backed away when he saw that Future Trunks broke free from his control.

Goku and Vegeta tried to attack Black at the same time but they were unable to land a hit on him.

"Is this the limit of the famous Son Goku and Vegeta?" Black said as he taunted Goku and Vegeta.

Goku didn't reply anything back but Vegeta seemed pissed off about Black comments.

"Ha." Vegeta gathered a large round ki orb over his head and threw it at Black.

Black used a ki blast to simply cancel out the attack like it was nothing.

While doing this he also landed a critical hit on Goku's chest which caused him to fall to his knees while making him deactivate his Kaioken.

"Kakarrot. Stay focus. This isn't like you." Vegeta said as he launched a powerful beam that caused Black to back away by making a backflip.

That was close. If it hit my heart I would be seeing King Yama. Goku thought in his mind as he held the area that was hit.

Black then grabbed Vegeta with some kind of ki construct that he released from his hands.

He then dragged him from afar into the mountains using the construct.

Before smacking him down to the ground.

Goku used instant transmission to appear behind Black and tried to launch a sneak attack on him but it failed as Black just blocked the attack.

"Solar Flare," Goku yelled out as he blinded Black for a brief moment.

"Vegeta. Now." Goku said.

"BIG BANG ATTACK," Vegeta said as he launched a powerful attack at Black.

He would have used Final Flash if he could but he has not recovered enough ki so he has to settle for his second strongest attack.

It still didn't work as Black teleported out of the attack using Kaikai like he had a third eye.

He smiled at Goku as he then used an air fist to knock Goku towards Vegeta's Big Bang attack.

At the time vault.

"This is not good. Goku and Vegeta won't be able to handle Black." Beerus said as he looked at the scroll.

"Is there something that we can do?" Marron asked.

"There is one thing," Chronoa said.

"I could temporarily send one of you to the place where Goku, Vegeta and Trunks were fighting Black," Chronoa said.

"Only one?" Goten asked.

"And the person that is going back has to be a mortal, Supreme Kai and God of destructions cannot travel through time using the time scroll since they are the most important beings in their universe. Their existence is necessary for their universe to function properly. " Chronoa explained.

"What about Whis?" Beerus asked.

"Sending back Angels would not change anything since they cannot interfere with things like this," Chronoa explained.

"Oh yes. I forget that stupid rule exists." Beerus said.

"Should we play rock paper scissors for it?" Marron asked Goten and Bra.

"Don't even bother. Since my dad and Goten's dad fighting together is not enough to take down that person called Black, you and I going would not make any difference." Bra said while crossing her arms.

She then glanced at Goten.

"Only you would be able to fight against him." She said.

Goten was shocked as she used to be hot-headed and wanted to jump into fights that she would not be able to win in the past.

But now she was giving him the green light to go into Future Trunks's timeline instead of her.

The reason why she said it was because she saw how much future Trunks was struggling against Zamasu.

And she could see that if she was in the place of Future Trunks she would still not be able to overwhelm the Supreme Kai in training immediately.

So she has to swallow her pride. As she would not be able to help much.

She was still weak.

"Then it's decided. You and I are going back to Future Trunks's timeline." Chronoa said.

"Here. Hold this and try to imagine that you are teleported right at that location." She said as she handed Goten the scroll that had a dark aura around it.
