Dragon Ball The Next

As the fights continued Goku and Vegeta checked the compartments that are inside the Time machine.

"What is this?" Vegeta said as he found the armbands.

"Hey. Isn't that the capsule corporation logo?" Goku asked as he checked the armbands.

"What are they supposed to do? And how do you even use them?" Goku asked.

Bulma told him about the armbands many years ago and told them how they worked.

She even offered to give the extras.

But Goku and Vegeta were not paying attention at that time and now they have forgotten about it.

Now all they can do is wait for their ki to recover.

While Goten was facing Black, Chronoa and Future Trunks were having a much easier time taking on Zamasu.

"Freeze." Chronoa used her power to freeze Zamasu in place.

That Supreme Kai is troublesome. Which universe is she even a part of? I don't remember seeing her anywhere. Zamasu thought in his mind.

"You are done for." Future Trunks said as he cut Zamsu into pieces.

"Ha." Then he finished off with a Finish buster reducing him into atoms.

Even Majin Buu would have died from Future Trunks' attack as Future Trunks have become even more powerful than he was when he fought Bra.

But Zamasu's regeneration is something that comes from the super dragon balls so it's more powerful than the regeneration possessed by Piccolo, Cell, Buu or 21.

"Damn it. It's still not enough." Future Trunks said as he saw Zamasu reappear right in front of him from nothing.

"See. No matter what you do you won't be able to kill me. Even with her help." Zamasu said as he looked at Future Trunks and Chronoa.

"Now it's my turn." He said as he reactivated his energy blade.

He then dashed towards Chronoa as he deemed him as a more dangerous foe even more than Future Trunks.

Chrono created a green energy blade around her palm and defended herself from Zamsu's attack.

Then Future Trunks appeared near Zamasu and kicked him into the ground.

"Sacred Furious Light Bullet," Chornoa said as she launched two large ki spheres at Zamasu causing a large explosion.

But Zamasu was still fine as he regenerated from her attack.

"Trunks," Goku called out from the sideline.

"!" Both Zamasu and Future Trunks looked at Goku.

"If you can't kill him why don't you try sealing him." He suggested.

Zamasu who looked like he was regaining his confidence seemed to be visually disturbed when he heard Goku's suggestion.

"But I don't know any sealing techniques?" Future Trunks said.

Master Roshi was dead when he was born and Future Shin is not a very competent teacher so he never learned how to use sealing techniques.

"Ah right," Chronoa said as she remembered that sealing Zamasu was an option when she heard Goku's words.

Then a golden light appeared around her body as her body as she transformed.

"Wait. What is that?" Future Trunks was confused. He didn't know that Supreme Kais could transform.

"?" Zamasu was also shocked. Just like Future Trunks he also didn't know something like that was possible.

Her body grew in height and her hair became longer. She also gained a golden glowing holo that resembled a clock on her back.

She becomes stronger. She might be even as strong as Black. Vegeta thought in his mind as he looked at Chronoa.

"I didn't know the Supreme Kai's body could also achieve such power," Zamasu said.

He didn't discard his body as he still believed that it had its uses.

Mainly for the fact that it is better at using magic than that of a body that belongs to a Saiyan.

But he still believed that he was at his limits and that the power that could surpass Super Saiyan Blue was only possible with the body of a Saiyan.

But when he saw Chronoa he regained confidence and discarded the thought that he couldn't be as strong as a Saiyan.

Zamasu then looked at Black who was still preoccupied by Goten.

"You were wrong. A Saiyan body is still inferior compared to a Kai." Zamasu said as he prepared to teleport away from the fight.

He was planning to run away leaving Black alone.

He wanted to train and become as strong as Chronoa until he carried out the Zero mortal plan.

If he survives he could try again next time.

He doesn't mind throwing away Black if he can satisfy his desire and carry out his plan.

However, he realized that he couldn't even move his mouth let alone teleport away as Chronoa was restraining him.

"What? What are you doing?" Zamasu panicked.

A golden sphere made of a multiple-spinning clock appeared around his body.

"Temporal Chaos Seal." She said as the sphered shrank and transformed into a yellow orb.

Future Trunks, Goku and Vegeta looked at the bizarre scene in shock as Chronoa easily sealed away Zamasu who had been so much troublesome to take down.

"Erase." She said as the orb disappeared into nothingness.

"Where did he go?" Future Trunks asked.

"I sealed him in a blank timeline. Before erasing it." Chronoa said.

"That easily?" Future Trunks was dumbfounded by her answer.

It was anti-climactic. But Fast and efficient.

She just told him that she trapped him in another timeline and erased him in there.

It is such an unimagine thing that he didn't even think it was possible.

"Even I, the Supreme Kai of time am unable to nullify the power that comes from the Super Dragon balls. So I have to deal with it by working around that." She said.

"It would not have worked if he was stronger than me. For example, I would not be able to deal with him using this method." Chronoa said as she looked at Black from afar.

"If he merged with Black he would have been unstoppable and this timeline will reach to the point that I have to destroy it as a whole." She commented.

She saw a timeline where Zamasu fused with the universe itself and had to be killed off by Zeno while she was in the time vault searching for the scroll about how Goku Black came to be.

And she was not going to let that happen.

It was unnecessarily destroying a timeline without giving it any sort of way out.

She is a morally grey character who is willing to let things like the Majin Buu massacre happen.

But certain actions like being responsible for destroying everything and everyone that ever lived in a timeline exceed her tolerance to the point that she is willing to wage war even against her teacher if someone threatens to destroy them.
