Her hair had grown long—this was something Rizel had requested. He had thought that while short-haired Ryougi Shiki looked valiant, she still suited long hair better.

Thus, Rizel modeled her appearance after the third ascension of Saber-class Ryougi Shiki from FGO (Fate/Grand Order). Ryougi Shiki reluctantly accepted this.

Now, she had long hair and wore a kimono embroidered with peonies and white cranes. When Rizel saw her, he was so captivated, it felt as if he was looking at a celestial being. He immediately engaged with her at a fundamental level to celebrate. Naturally, they had to tailor new clothes afterward.

It was Rizel.

"Shiki, were you waiting for me?" Rizel smiled at Ryougi Shiki.

"No, I was just resting," Ryougi Shiki retorted, but her eyes couldn't hide the joy she felt. She poured a cup of tea for Rizel, her expression softening as she handed it to him.

Rizel could easily tell that while Ryougi Shiki's words were sharp, her actions were honest. He didn't mind—after all, half a year of being together had made it a habit.

Every time he entered her in bed, she would claim it was the last time. Yet, here they were, having heard this countless times and even coming into a relationship.

"Oh, really? I could always ask Little Shiki, you know, since you share a connection," Rizel said with a grin.

"Little Shiki" was actually Origin Shiki. To simplify things, Rizel gave each personality a distinct nickname. He called Ryougi Shiki simply "Shiki," Origin Shiki as "Little Shiki," and Ryougi SHIKI as "Weaver."

Ryougi Shiki looked flustered at his comment, "Urusai~~ Don't call her! She's clearly part of the same body, but it feels like she's got a mind of her own, always sticking her nose where it doesn't belong."

Speaking of Origin Shiki, Rizel recalled how she had played a trick on him during their first night spent together.

Just when he had inserted his throbbing sword into her with gentle care, Origin Shiki groaned slightly and swapped places with Ryougi Shiki, leaving the latter stunned. Both of them had just stared at each other in disbelief.

Ryougi Shiki immediately erupted in anger, activating her Mystic Eyes of Death Perception, wielding her signature small knife, and slashing at Rizel's death lines.

Unfortunately for her, just as Rizel's body began to crumble, it suddenly stopped.

A voice echoed in Rizel's mind:

Ryougi Shiki was left in shock as Rizel recovered instantly, and her death lines vanished. After that, Rizel had no trouble subduing her.

Sipping his tea, Rizel said to Ryougi Shiki, "Let's go to the Clock Tower. In a few days, we need to visit the Einzbern family."

Ryougi Shiki snorted at this, "Hmph, why do I have to go? Isn't this just something you want to do..." Her face turned bright red as she remembered what had happened before.

"Oh? What might that be? Would you care to share with me?" Rizel teased, smirking at her blushing face.

"Hmph!" Ryougi Shiki turned her head away, refusing to meet his gaze. But despite her words, she leaned closer to Rizel, seeking his embrace.

Though she didn't say it, after not seeing him for two days, she missed him just a bit. She allowed herself to be held by Rizel.

Rizel pulled Ryougi Shiki into his arms, took off into the sky, and flew toward the Clock Tower.

A brilliant white streak of light cut through the sky above the Ryougi residence.

The people of the Ryougi household looked up, but they were no longer surprised. Everyone knew how powerful the young lady's boyfriend was.

Even Ryougi Shiki's father was quite pleased with his son-in-law.

As they flew, a sudden voice echoed in Rizel's mind:

It was the familiar sound of the system—the damned thing had finally come back to life.
