Doomsday in Typemoon!

Chapter 5: Defeating Zelretch!

Hōseki Okina kept moving through the space and launching magic missiles, seeing that even the magic missiles and other attacks couldn't break through Rizel's defense. He couldn't help but curse.

Thus, the two continued exchanging attacks while dodging, engaging in multiple rounds of battle.

Rizel kept attacking, his body becoming more familiar with the fight. His combat skills and speed were increasing.

Hōseki Okina was becoming increasingly alarmed because his speed was getting faster. Many times, his punches grazed Rizel's clothes. Now, his clothing was torn, looking very much like a beggar.

Meanwhile, Rizel had already lost his clothes, revealing his strong muscles.

The nearby Origin Shiki could also see that Rizel was training against Hōseki Okina. So, he wasn't worried at all. On the contrary, the old man was attacking, and even Rizel's defense couldn't be broken.

In the beginning, the Gem Sword had left a wound, but now, Hōseki Okina's Gem Sword struck Rizel's body, leaving no trace, let alone a wound. The Gem Sword almost shattered from the impact.

Hōseki Okina was very frustrated, watching as Rizel became more and more excited. He felt that this person wasn't human—how could he not get tired? Even though he could draw infinite parallel world magic, his stamina would eventually run out.

Meanwhile, Rizel was getting more and more excited, showing no intention of stopping.

He suddenly realized that he shouldn't have come to provoke him. Thinking about it, he was getting old and still wanted to compete in stamina with this young person.

He decided to end the battle quickly. He quietly prepared his magic and was ready to unleash the infinite ether cannon.

... ... ... . . . . .

In the distance, Tohsaka Tokiomi, who was observing, noticed the direction of the magic fluctuations coming from Rizel's battle.

"Who is fighting?" He felt mentally exhausted. After the magic appeared, it triggered a battle. It was happening in Fuyuki, and yet I, the one in charge, don't even know about it. I don't even know what kind of mage it is.

He felt very aggrieved. Why didn't you report this to me? A little greeting wouldn't have hurt.

According to the magic feedback, he saw that Rizel's battlefield had already formed a protective barrier, but the sound of the battle was deafening.

Buildings were collapsing one after another, and Tohsaka Tokiomi felt like crying but had no tears.

At this point, he couldn't even use the excuse of gas explosions.

...

The scene returns to the battlefield.

Rizel was becoming increasingly familiar with this force. Although his speed hadn't reached supersonic levels, it was very close.

Bam–

Crash crash–

Rizel directly used his fist to smash several of Hoseki Okina's magic missiles, then followed through with a punch aimed at Hoseki Okina's face.

Hoseki Okina quickly used his spatial movement to dodge, but this time, he failed.

Although he managed to move to the other side, he was caught by Rizel in the instant that he failed.

Crashing again, he changed direction, and it worked seamlessly.

It was as if he had known that Hoseki Okina would try to dodge that way.

Then Hoseki Okina was forced to take Rizel's punch head-on.

Splurt– Hoseki Okina spat out fresh blood.

Several bones in his body broke.

He was directly slammed into a nearby building.

"Tsk, that hurts." Hoseki Okina murmured, lightly standing up. "You really don't show any respect for the elderly man."

Rizel glared at Hoseki Okina and said, "If you hadn't pulled back, old man, this wouldn't have been an issue of just breaking a few bones."

"Then I guess I should thank you," Hoseki Okina said sarcastically, looking disheveled. Then he asked, "Did you know I was going to move that way?" Hoseki Okina was surprised, as rizel had changed directions in an instant, almost as if he had known what would happen.

"I wouldn't say I knew ahead of time," Rizel replied calmly. "I just sensed your spatial movement fluctuations, that's all."

That's right, this was the effect brought by the Perfected Doomsday gene enhancement, gradually becoming familiar with and discerning the opponent's abilities during combat.

"So powerful! It really is interesting." Origin Shiki nodded lightly from the outskirts of the battlefield.

Such terrifying combat awareness! Hōseki Okina thought to himself.

"Alright, is your infinite ether cannon ready? Come on, I'm ready to take it." Rizel said with a smile.

"Ho ho, you've noticed?" Hōseki Okina asked.

"That's right, I can sense that you're gathering a massive amount of magical power. You must be preparing to unleash a big move," Rizel nodded lightly and said.

"Bring it on, let me broaden my knowledge of the second Mage Lord's strongest move!" Rizel spread his arms wide, assuming an embrace-like stance.

Seeing this, Hōseki Okina didn't waste words and immediately released the attack.

A large amount of magical power condensed, forming energy, and then it was directly unleashed.

It created a dazzling beam of light that shot straight toward Rizel.

Boom—

Rizel blocked it head-on. Truly, the second Mage Lord's ultimate move, it directly caused a heavy injury to Rizel.

Rizel's entire body turned into a bloodied mess.

Origin Shiki became somewhat anxious, nervously watching Rizel, wanting to rush over and heal him.

Hōseki Okina was both frightened and in awe. Inside his attack, all he had achieved was a heavy injury to Rizel?

He knew that even Akai Tsuki would have to retreat in the face of that move.

At this moment, Rizel was grinning happily, because a voice rang out in his mind.

[ Ding! Received an attack from the infinite ether cannon. Evolution of eternal immunity to the same-level infinite ether cannon attack gained. Both attack and defense power have increased. Evolved new ether energy ray attack technique. ]

Not only had his defense power increased, but he had also evolved a similar attack method.

This was very Doomsday-like, and Rizel felt a surge of excitement inside. Getting attacked like this actually boosted his defense and simultaneously evolved a similar attack method—this was truly satisfying.

"It's just a bit of a waste of clothes." At this point, his clothes were all torn.

A moment later, the wounds on Rizel's body disappeared completely, and he quickly restored to full health.

Hōseki Okina's eyes widened in disbelief. Although he knew that restoration was powerful, the fact that Rizel could recover so quickly from such a severe attack was shocking. He stared in astonishment.

"This is no longer a fight against a hair's breadth," he thought. "No matter how severe the injury, it can recover in an instant. This is beyond anything I understand."

Origin Shiki's eyes gleamed with admiration as she observed Rizel. His ability to recover was truly powerful, and it was clear that Rizel had already won the battle without any doubt.

Suddenly, she blushed under his gaze.

Hōseki Okina sighed and said, "Alright, you've won. I admit defeat."

How could he fight like this? He attacked with everything he had, but couldn't defeat Rizel. He even had to take a punch from him. It felt like he was about to lose his mind.

"Alright, since you, old man, admit defeat, then I'll make my request," Rizel said calmly.

It was clear that he wasn't even fully aware of his current state.

In the end, it was Origin Shiki who casually found a set of clothes for Rizel to wear, still blushing slightly.

After some discussion, Rizel decided that he wanted to stay at the Clock Tower to study magic.

In his mind, since he was already in the Type-Moon world, he might as well learn some magic.

He asked Hōseki Okina about the Holy Grail War, which would start in about a year.

Hōseki Okina was happy to agree, as it would be convenient to keep an eye on Rizel and see if he posed any threat to this world.

Of course, to the outside world, they would say that Rizel was a disciple of Hōseki Okina, which would reduce a lot of trouble for him at the Clock Tower.

At this moment, Hōseki Okina still didn't realize that in the coming days, the Clock Tower would become incredibly lively.

Rizel turned to Origin Shiki and said, "Shiki, would you like to come along?" inviting her to the Clock Tower.

Origin Shiki gladly accepted, clearly not concerned about the two of them sharing a close experience.

Although the owner of the Ryougi Shiki persona did feel some attraction to Rizel, it still couldn't compare to the bond with Origin Shiki.

But now, the body was under Origin Shiki's control, and there wasn't much she could do. She felt a little bothered.
