Doomsday in Typemoon!

Chapter 7: Touko Is Helpless!

Rizel silently thought to himself: "This damn system, why does leveling up take so long?"

[ Ding! Due to unknown energy interference during the leveling process, it caused the system to take an unusually long time to upgrade. ]

Hearing this, Rizel found it a bit amusing. What kind of lousy system could be invaded by unknown energy, causing such a delay in leveling up?

[ Ding! Due to issues during the upgrade, compensation has been provided in the form of a gift package. Master, would you like to open it? ]

"Huh? There's actually compensation for this? A gift package!"

"Open it!"

[ Ding! The compensation gift package has been opened. Congratulations, Master, you've received (Thousand Types of Magic) with an additional 1000 accumulation points. ]

Rizel was pleased; not only did he get a lot of points, but he also acquired (Thousand Types of Magic).

This is the power of Azi Dahaka from the first trial of the final human test in Garden's (Absolute Evil).

[ { TL/N : This might not be an ability from Typemoon and instead from Mondaiji Tachi. Honestly, this story is going to have a bunch of such abilities. You might not wanna focus too much on them as even I find them to be a nuisance. } ]

Although Rizel would have preferred some other series abilities or the Light Wheel of the Tyrant, he couldn't deny that this ability was currently very useful to him.

With this power, he could master all the world's techniques instantly. In other words, while he previously couldn't learn magic, under the influence of this power, he could not only grasp it effortlessly but even modify it.

Even though his current enhanced Doomsday gene granted him extraordinary memory, making him exceptionally intelligent and capable of learning things quickly, this new power was on another level.

It's clear, even from the perspective of Superman, that he is far from being a fool. In reality, his memory and intelligence are far superior.

Putting aside that tangent, Rizel now possessed this technique, allowing him to instantly master any technique in the world, including magic.

If he wanted to, he could probably even create a Holy Grail.

Rizel felt a surge of excitement, his heart burning with anticipation.

In his arms, Ryougi Shiki leaned her head against Rizel's chest, listening to his heartbeat. Her face couldn't help but blush slightly.

Feeling Rizel's heartbeat, she knew he was very excited at that moment.

She couldn't help but think, Is he this excited to see me? A trace of sweetness filled her heart as she smiled, leaning closer into Rizel's chest.

"System, where's the daily check-in? I want to check in," Rizel silently thought.

[ Ding! Weekly check-in successful. Congratulations, Master, you've earned 100 accumulation points and acquired the inherent skill — (Chinese Martial Arts: Baji Quan A+++) ]

"Huh... I actually got Li Shuwen's skill." With this, it was like adding flowers to the brocade. After all, as a Doomsday, most of his combat is close-range melee.

Upon integrating the skill, a vast array of Chinese martial arts techniques and experiences flooded into Rizel's mind.

Fortunately, his evolved state allowed his brain to handle this immense influx of knowledge. Otherwise, this kind of information overload could have burned out his mind.

After a long time, Rizel fully absorbed the knowledge and revealed a surprised smile.

It wasn't just limited to Baji Quan techniques; there were also various other Chinese martial arts techniques. Of course, it's no surprise that Baji Quan was included, given how excellent it is.

After all, "Mushroom" is a fan of Chinese martial arts. From Tohsaka Rin to Kotomine Kirei, they both know a bit of Baji Quan, showing how much he favors this martial art.

At this moment, Rizel exuded a faint but formidable aura. If a martial arts master were present, they would undoubtedly be shocked — this was the aura of a Grandmaster of Martial Arts.

He opened his status panel:

Humanity's Last Hope

Goddess's Affection

... and many more.

Looking at his stats, Rizel suddenly remembered the two abilities, "Humanity's Last Hope" and "Goddess's Affection."

Previously, he wanted to ask the system for an explanation of these abilities, but the system went into maintenance before he had the chance.

Now that the system was back online, he could finally resolve his doubts.

Rizel opened the descriptions for these two abilities.

[ Humanity's Last Hope: Bears the final hope of humanity on Earth, a hero of mankind, forging a legend of salvation. No matter the circumstances, the world will not abandon the bearer, and events will progress in a favorable direction towards an ideal outcome. ]

This description left Rizel puzzled, especially the line "events will progress in a favorable direction towards an ideal outcome." It had a flavor of causality manipulation.

When Rizel asked the system about the origin of this skill, the system simply responded with "No answer."

Rizel didn't dwell on it. Since it didn't seem to have any drawbacks, he looked at the other ability.

[ Goddess's Affection: Blessed by a high-dimensional goddess, the blessed one possesses unparalleled charm and luck. ]

No wonder his luck attribute was so high; it turned out to be influenced by this skill. Not only that, but his charm was also enhanced. If his status panel showed a "Charm" stat, it would likely be rated at EX+++.

The system didn't provide a clear answer about the origin of this skill either. So the only clue was that "high-dimensional goddess."

After thinking it over, Rizel decided to put it aside for now. When he became powerful enough, these questions would naturally be resolved.

He then focused on flying, although not at the speed of light. Ryougi Shiki enjoyed looking at the scenery on the ground from the sky, so Rizel slowed down to let her take in the view.

During their flight, Ryougi Shiki wasn't troubled by her kimono flapping wildly, revealing too much of her pure white skin, or the discomfort of the air currents. This was mainly because Rizel had a certain ability, one even Superman had — Biological Field.

With this ability, Rizel could ensure a comfortable flight experience for anyone traveling with him.

Rizel took the opportunity to infiltrate the bare exposed parts of her body, groping onto her buttocks firmly as they flew.

Ryougi Shiki blushed but also felt happy for some reason.

Of course, Rizel was enjoying himself all along the way.

Clock Tower.

The highest institution of magical learning. Currently, the Clock Tower serves as the center of the Mage's Association, essentially representing the Association itself.

Located in the outskirts of London, it's an architectural structure similar in style to the Parliament's Big Ben. It stands as the premier department in this area.

Behind this main structure, there is another European-style mansion.

Inside one of the rooms on the second floor of this mansion, a red-haired, red-eyed woman with a slender, voluptuous figure was sprawled out on the bed, completely naked as she muttered, "No, I can't take it anymore."

Her name was Aozaki Touko.

As a Magus close to the rank of a true Sorcerer, she had a younger sister named Aozaki Aoko. Due to a sudden change in the heir of the Aozaki family, her sister was chosen instead, leading to a fierce rivalry between the siblings, filled with both affection and animosity.

Touko reached out her hands beside her in an attempt to hug but, feeling no familiar presence, she woke up.

With a weary glance at the clock, she remarked, "At this time, that guy must have gone to the other side of the world again."

It was clear that the "guy" she referred to was none other than Rizel.

Six months earlier, Rizel had been brought to the Clock Tower by Hōseki Okina, who declared him his disciple. Everyone was curious about this new disciple of the Arcane Marshal.

Touko was no exception. Initially, she was attracted by Rizel's appearance and aura. Later, when she sensed his immense magical power, she realized she had fallen into his grasp.

Upon entering the Clock Tower, Rizel learned Gradation Air, a projection magic. He discovered that due to his Third Perpetual Mechanism, all objects he projected had permanent existence.

Additionally, under the enhancement of this mechanism, his projections were often even stronger than the original items.

For example, if he projected a small knife, its sharpness would exceed that of the original.

This gave Rizel an idea: projecting gemstones.

Indeed, he began projecting various types of gemstones. Thanks to the powerful energy enhancement from his Third Perpetual Mechanism, using these projected gemstones for Gemstone Magic made him incredibly powerful.

Even Hōseki Okina requested several custom Gemstone Swords from him, naturally providing some form of compensation.

As a result, Rizel monopolized the entire gemstone trade within the Clock Tower. His gemstones were priced at outrageously high rates, much to the dismay of the mineral sciences department, who labeled him as a "gemstone profiteer."

However, there was nothing they could do—the quality of his gemstones was simply too high, and everyone craved them, leaving many without any options.

Of course, Rizel had a business approach to handle things. No money? Fine, you can still get the gemstones; just write an IOU.

For every day the debt remains unpaid, the interest doubles, compounding over time. He essentially adopted the same practices as loan sharks.

Touko, clearly, had fallen into this trap. With the compounding interest, she ended up in his bed.

Initially, Touko thought she could just bear it and move on. However, she soon discovered that during her exchanges with Rizel, the magical energy he transferred to her directly enhanced her magic circuits. After each encounter, she could feel her magic circuits growing stronger.

After experiencing this multiple times, she found herself unable to leave him. She eventually moved into Rizel's mansion. After all, the house was beautifully situated by the lake, perfect for enjoying the moonlight.
