Destroying My Own World

Chapter 426: Unique realm.

Mykel looked at Aevia who was on the brink of her extinction as the omnipotent being. She had lost the majority of her power because of Elena and her other selves that took over her power. She had lost and she had nothing else that she could do to get out of the situation.

Lyneth had calmed down after Mykel embraced her and allowed her to recharge her emotions. She looked at Aevia and then she snapped her fingers, bringing the clock in front of her since it was the only thing left they had to take care of. She looked at the clock and looked at Aevia, but suddenly she felt a deja vu as her heart stopped beating for a moment.

She collapsed and she was petrified by something that Mykel got so worried about her and brought her away from the clock and Aevia. She was shocked, scared, and anxious because of what she felt and saw. The deja vu that she felt, it answered the last question that she had in mind that had been bothering her.

"Lyn?" Mykel held Lyneth in his arms as he was on her knees and stared at her with a worried expression.

Lyneth looked at Mykel and tears had covered her eyes with her trembling hands and lips. She didn't want to believe it and she didn't know what to do if it was the truth.

"Amy..." Lyneth muttered as she stared at the clock in fear. "Amy!" She shouted in a panic.

A portal was opened behind Lyneth and Mykel, Amaryllis came out of it and sat next to Lyneth. She had been hiding in the small pocket in space under Lyneth's order to avoid being erased by Aevia. She could see the fear in Lyneth's eyes, and she had no idea why even though she looked at the clock which made Lyneth so scared.

"What's the matter, Lyn?" Amaryllis asked and saw Elena, her other selves, and Mykel's other selves approach them. "Tell us..." She added with her eyebrows furrowed with worries.

Lyneth held Mykel's hand, asking him to help her stand up. When she stood up, she slowly lifted her left hand and pointed it at Aevia. The moment Lyneth put Aevia in front of the clock and sealed her with the clock, that was when Amaryllis got petrified by it.

The same scenery that they both had seen, the scene of Aevia being shackled and chained with the clock in that abandoned and hidden space. They both finally got the answer as to why they saw another Aevia in that place, imprisoned and lost both her power and memories.

Mykel and the others had no idea what those two were so afraid of because they didn't know about it. Amaryllis looked at the four of them and shared her vision when she found Aevia in that abandoned and hidden space. They were shocked when the scenery was identical to what they saw in front of them.

"So, all this time..." Elena paused to interpret what she had witnessed. "We have defeated Aevia?" She asked and looked at Amaryllis and Lyneth in disbelief.

"I'm not sure..." Amaryllis shook her head as she tried to find the conclusion to this mystery. "As far as we know, Aevia used the clock and combined all timelines and created this. If that's the case, the past, present, and future, all of them are combined and exist in this place," she pointed out.

"So this space, we're in a unique timeline," Mykel said as he looked at the clock. "If you have seen it before, that means we're not in the past, present, or future. This place isn't the result of the three timelines being combined, we were forced out of time and space," he added.

"Which means the past, present, and future still exist out there?" Mykel's other selves looked at Mykel.

Amaryllis didn't think Twice and left to check the archive room and the world outside. It only took her ten seconds until she came back and she was shocked by what she saw.

"The archive, they're back. All the records are out there," Amaryllis pointed out and she looked scared. "Doesn't that mean, Aevia and all of us exist out there?" She asked because she was too scared to see the answer.

Lyneth used her power and she immediately closed her eyes. She was trembling in fear because everything went back to normal, everything that they had destroyed and messed up had been fixed. She told everyone that the realm outside the space had been fixed by something.

"The clock..." Mykel said as he walked toward the clock. "I think Aevia managed to do it. She fixed all the abnormalities and forced us into this space. She knew it was the best choice, but she miscalculated about Lyneth's power," he added and stood in front of the clock.

"The clock is fixing the existing world even without Aevia's order. Or to be precise..." Mykel's other selves paused to look at Aevia. "Aevia is just the embodiment of the clock's power. She's not a living being, she's merely an instrument, or maybe the emotions of the clock, a wish..." He added.

"We are out of the loop, but everything is back in the loop to where it all began and ended. The clock has lost its will, but the power is still capable of doing something like this," Amaryllis responded and it could be the most logical answer, but she wondered if logic worked in this kind of world.

"Like a broken record. It will repeat itself no matter what happens because it's the only thing it can do," Mykel nodded as he touched the clock. "Everything will repeat itself infinitely, and sooner there will be more of us here," he added.

Everyone went silent as they thought about the truth behind the clock and Aevia. But then, they all thought about the same thing at the same time, and it was a question about the clock and what would happen if they destroyed it. They wanted to ask that question, but they were unsure whether they should say it or not.

"The answer to that would be the disappearance of our existence. If all of you couldn't even go against the clock and lost all your power back then, that means you will disappear the moment we destroy it," Lyneth answered after she heard everyone's thoughts. "But there's someone here that won't be affected by it," she pointed out.

Everyone looked at Lyneth and she was the one that she mentioned. She was the one who wouldn't be affected by the clock's authority as she had become an existence beyond all realms. She could survive, but she would be the only one left that existed, and she didn't want to live a lone life, becoming like Aevia.

"But do we have a choice?" Lyneth asked. "There will be no ends to this, and it will only end if we destroy the clock," she pointed out.

"What are you going to do?" Mykel looked at Lyneth.

Lyneth approached the clock and stood beside Mykel without saying a single word. She stared at it and was thinking about the the plan she had in mind.

"We don't have to destroy it, or at least not yet," Lyneth answered. "If we want to be safe from this loop and from the clock's influence, I have to overpower its influence and make it falls under my influence instead," she added as she looked at Mykel.

Lyneth looked down at Aevia and tried to gather information about the clock while Aevia was in that state. But when she touched Aevia's head, she got nothing just like back then. There was not a single memory intacted in Aevia's head, and everything had been broken. She regretted that she didn't take any information from Aevia first before she tortured her.

"I'll do it because I'm the only one who can do it," Lyneth looked at Mykel. "Do you trust me?" She asked.

"It's not a matter if I trust you or not," Mykel responded as he stood in front of Lyneth. "It's a matter if you're going to be okay or not," he pointed out and he didn't want anything to happen to her because if something did happen, nobody could save her because her power was beyond everyone's understanding.

"Do we have a choice?" Lyneth asked as she put her hand on Mykel's cheek with a gentle smile on her face. "I'll do my best, okay?" She assured and then touched the clock.

Mykel moved away from the clock and let Lyneth do her thing, and the others were beside him.

Lyneth used her power and tried to manipulate the clock and tried to erase its existence. While she was doing it, she started to see everything until the beginning of the clock's existence. She then understood the clock's existence and what would happen if she destroyed it.

"I'm sorry..." Lyneth looked at Mykel over her shoulder and then made the clock disappear.
