Chapter 427: After party.
The moment the clock and Aevia disappeared, everything disappeared as well, leaving Lyneth and the others in an empty space of nothingness. They were floating aimlessly and they lost their powers since their powers came from the clock. But then Lyneth clapped her hands and created a whole universe from nothing, and she gave their powers back like it was nothing.
To their surprise, Lyneth brought them all to the Empyrean World, and everyone was brought back to life by her as well. When she was done, she staggered, and Mykel immediately held her in his arms.
"What were you sorry for?" Mykel asked because he had a hunch something bad was happening the moment Lyneth erased the clock and Aevia.
Lyneth was holding her head because of the massive headache that she was having. She furrowed her eyebrows and she was unable to speak because of it, so Mykel brought her to the cabin.
Jeanne and the others with their other selves woke up from their slumber, and remembered the last moment before they got erased. They had no idea what had happened, and seeing Mykel carrying Lyneth to the cabin made them wonder. Amaryllis explained to them what had happened and told them that Aevia had been defeated and there was no more threat.
Mykel put Lyneth on the bed, and she looked normal, nothing changed inside or outside of her body. She only looked weak because she used everything to recreate everything but without Aevia and the clock in it.
"I—" Lyneth was about to tell Mykel, but Mykel put his left thumb on her lips.
"Get some rest first," Mykel said and then he kissed Lyneth on the forehead. "I'll be here, and I'm not going anywhere," he added and held Lyneth's hand.
Lyneth slowly pulled Mykel's hand toward her, and it made Mykel confused until he realized what she wanted. He removed his suit and put it on the chair, and then he got on the bed and laid down beside her. Lyneth wrapped her arms around Mykel's body and cuddled in his arms as she made herself comfortable.
It was just silence, and Lyneth slowly closed her eyes as she heard Mykel's heartbeat. She felt at peace and fell asleep not long after that with a bit of a smile on her face.
Elena quietly checked the bed and saw Lyneth sleeping peacefully. She was worried just like Mykel, but seeing that Mykel shook his head, she decided to let her rest first. She went outside and prevented everyone from entering the cabin and played with little Sasha.
A day in the Empyrean World had passed, and Lyneth woke up feeling refreshed. She looked at Mykel asleep next to her, and she couldn't help but to kiss his cheek twice and then kiss his lips as she crawled on top of his body. She made Mykel awoken from his sleep, and seeing how happy she was, put a smile on his face.
"Good morning..." Lyneth said quietly and then kissed Mykel so passionately. "It's been a while since we slept together like this without any worries," she said in between kisses.
Mykel grabbed Lyneth's waist and then switched positions in an instant, making her giggle in excitement. But when she looked into his eyes, his worries could be seen and his thoughts were filled with questions about her well-being.
Lyneth brushed her hands on Mykel's cheeks and caressed them as she stared at his lips. She knew that Mykel was waiting for her to tell the truth about what had happened back there. She was thinking about what she should say to him because she was afraid to tell him about it.
"Can I ask you a favor, Mykel?" Lyneth asked as she kept staring at Mykel's lips and caressed his cheeks. "Can we not talk about this and I promise you that you will know what it is when the time is right," she added and looked at Mykel's eyes.
"Okay, and what else do you want?" Mykel nodded with understanding as he tucked Lyneth's hair behind her ear.
"Just the three of us. You, me, and Elena are living normally like a normal family..." Lyneth answered. "Can we do that? I want to experience a normal life because I saw how happy Edith was when she lived her life normally with her family," she pointed and her eyes were blankly staring at Mykel's nose bridge.
"As you wish," Mykel smiled and then kissed Lyneth's cheek. "Everyone is worried about you, so I think we can continue this later," he got off the bed and grabbed his suit.
Lyneth looked at Mykel with full of love and admiration like the first time she met him in her apartment. She couldn't stop smiling and then she got up from bed and left the cabin with him to meet with the others.
Everyone was gathering around the table, enjoying each other's company and sharing their stories with their other selves who never had the chance to experience it. The ones who were in disbelief were Lillith's and Sven's other selves because they had no idea that those two ended up together. They didn't want to imagine it because they both hated each other, and they didn't want to make the same mistake and follow those two.
"Lyn? Are you okay?" Amaryllis stood up as soon as she saw Lyneth and Mykel.
"I'm okay. I just exhausted myself from using the power and I thought it would be much worse," Lyneth answered and smiled at everyone. "So you guys are having a party without both of us? How rude," she squinted her eyes and looked at them with dissatisfaction.
Mykel and his other selves looked at each other and knew that Lyneth was acting weirdly. They knew Lyneth more than anyone, so it made them both worried, but since she was Mykel's, his other selves didn't have the right to ask anything. He had his own Lyneth and she was sitting beside Elena's other selves.
"This isn't the party," Amaryllis responded as she modified the whole island. "This is the party," she snapped her fingers and then Loki, Hera, Hel, Gaia, and all the Gods from all the mythologies that were Mykel's allies in the novel and on Earth came.
It became so crowded in an instant, and there were hundreds of long tables filled with different kinds of food and drinks. If they had to taste every food on the table, it would take them months and all of them had godly taste.

Everyone was having fun, nobody was left behind and they found out what had happened to Mykel and the others. They realized their status as Gods was nothing compared to Mykel and his team. If they had to compare themselves, it was like an ant trying to fight the biggest and hottest star in the universe.
The party lasted for months, and everyone was so drunk by the atmosphere and the drinks. It was the longest and the most memorable moment of their whole lives, especially when they remembered what happened both on Earth and in the novel world. After they had enough of the party, Mykel and his other selves were enjoying the peaceful and silent night on a different island.
"What are you going to do now?" Mykel's other selves asked as he held a bottle of vodka and looked at Mykel holding the same bottle in his hand.
"I promised Lyn to live a normal life, so I'm not going to do anything," Mykel answered as he stared at the stars in the sky. "What about you? We both know this world is too small for both of us, but I don't care because I'm done with this kind of life. You can be the one who rules this world," he added.
"I'm so jealous. We both know that's what we wanted in the first place," Mykel's other self sighed. "I guess I'm going to take the novel world and make my own world there," he pointed out as he grabbed a pack of cigarettes and then offered it to Mykel. "Come and visit us sometimes. It's a bit weird to see myself sitting next to me, but I guess we can say that we became twins," he added.
"What a terrifying twin that I have," Mykel scoffed as he grabbed a cigarette from the pack that his other selves offered.
"You think you're the only one who has a terrifying twin?" Mykel's other selves asked as he put a cigarette in his mouth and lit it up. "Since it's the case, don't twins have the older one and the younger one? How are we going to decide that?" He glanced at Mykel with his eyebrows raised.
"I have no desire to fight anymore. So, how about a game of chess? The best of five and the winner will be the older brother?" Mykel suggested. "It's not an ordinary chess game. It has a unique twist where anything can happen," he added.
"Sounds fun. Count me in," Mykel's other selves answered with a smirk as he smoked his cigarette.
